• LUKE BRYAN DEBUTS “BILL DANCE” VIDEO IN HONOR OF DANCE’S 81ST BIRTHDAY TODAY.

Five-time Entertainer of the Year and avid outdoorsman Luke Bryan premiered a new music video for his song “Bill Dance” in honor of Dance’s 81st birthday today. The song, written by Luke, Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, is a track from Luke’s #1 debuting BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE album. Watch the video here.

The video was shot at Luke’s farm outside of Nashville and features his sons Bo and Tate with cameos by all three of the co-writers. Luke co-directs for the first time, along with Michael Monaco of FlyHi Films who has now directed eighteen music videos for Luke since 2013. Michael is also the executive producer and director of Luke’s original five-part docuseries “Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary,” available now on IMDb TV, Amazon’s premium free streaming service.

There is a lyric in the song, ‘There’s a lot of heroes out there these days, but if you ask me mine, there’s only one name I’ll say.’ That seems to sum up Luke’s adoration for the world-renowned angler as is evident throughout the video.

Dance is likely the most famous fishermen in the world who began competing and winning bass tournaments in the mid ’60s. That success led to a sponsorship deal with a lure manufacturer who encouraged him to begin a TV show to help promote the product. Since 1968, “Bill Dance Outdoors” has aired over 2,000 shows and Bill has produced over 36 educational videos and 12 audio educational tapes on a variety of subjects. His hilarious out-take shows have been aired all over the world. His tv shows Bill Dance Outdoors airs on the Outdoor Channel and Bill Dance Saltwater airs on the Sportsman Channel.

“Bill Dance” and Luke’s new radio single “Up” both appear on the Deluxe edition of his BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE album. All five previous singles from the album have reached #1: “Waves,” “Down To One,” One Margarita,” “Knockin’ Boots,” and “What She Wants Tonight.” This is the second time Luke has released six singles deep off an album. His 2015 Kill The Lights record contains six consecutive #1 singles: “Kick The Dust Up,” “Strip It Down,” “Home Alone Tonight,” “Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day,” “Move,” and “Fast.”

Luke takes his PROUD TO BE RIGHT HERE TOUR to Los Angeles tomorrow with a show at the Staples Center and continues his west coast run through next week.

“’Bill Dance’ is about one of my fishing heroes, Bill Dance, and hey, I grew up (as) a kid loved bass fishing, watching Bill Dance every Saturday and Sunday on all of the TV stations that he was on. He inspired me to be a great fisherman and I’m so happy for him to hear this song, and I’m so proud of this one.”

  • CMA AWARD-WINNER DEANA CARTER RELEASES 25TH ANNIVERSARY EDITIONS OF HER 5X PLATINUM DEBUT ALBUM DID I SHAVE MY LEGS FOR THIS? TODAY.

Today, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Deana Carter’s 5x platinum debut album Did I Shave My Legs for This?, Capitol Records/UMe released 25th Anniversary Editions of the groundbreaking album. LISTEN NOW and see new exclusive footage of Carter reflecting on her debut album and the staying power of “Strawberry Wine” that has been an absolute anthem of young love for more than 25 years WATCH HERE.

Carter is also releasing a new music video for the remake of her breakout 2x platinum, award-winning, debut hit single “Strawberry Wine.” WATCH HERE. This is what it looks like when female artists from several eras come together to collaborate in the studio and make something so familiar feel so fresh. From Carter’s signature songbird vocals and the piano intro that instantly takes you back to 1996, to the sonic sounds of country artists Ashley McBryde, Lauren Alaina, Kylie Morgan, Martina McBride, Vince Gill and the reimagined arrangement, Carter has outdone herself this time around. The girl power in the recording studio is as pure as the song itself, with glimpses of the emotional artists at the mic, the finest Nashville session players, and the bottle of bubbly to celebrate the session when they finished this masterpiece. The behind-the-scenes look was shot at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville.

The song — co-written by Matraca Berg and Gary Harrison — has stood the test of time, which is a testament to the power of a well-crafted story song and to Carter’s stunning voice. Even as a newcomer in 1996, Carter was able to waltz right in and reach No. 1 with “Strawberry Wine.” Her very first single off of her very first album went on to be named the Country Music Association’s Single of the Year and Song of the Year in 1997, and “Strawberry Wine” was also nominated for a GRAMMY for Best Country Song, the Academy of Country Music Awards for Best Country Song,  and the Country Music Radio Awards for Song of the Year. The official music video from 1996 is full of nostalgia and was directed by Roger Pistole.

The 25th anniversary editions of Carter’s album being released today from Capitol Nashville/UMe have been remastered from the original recordings and is being released on CD with two bonus tracks, as well as a Digital Deluxe with an additional ten songs, seven of which will be available digitally for the first time.

“These new versions are a way of raising a glass to everyone who loves these songs, and to the country radio stations still playing them, and to say thank you. I hope everyone enjoys celebrating 25 years of Did I Shave My Legs for This? as much as I’ve enjoyed putting together these very special releases,” Carter shared.

Carter will be celebrating the album’s release when she headlines a one-night-only show at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on November 18th, with special guests Charles Esten and Breland, as well as appearances by Terri Clark, Kylie Morgan and more surprise guests. Tickets available HERE.

“It is such an honor and a career highlight to finally headline the Ryman, our sacred Mother Church, especially being a Nashville native and growing up in the industry, knowing that my dad, Fred Carter, Jr., performed on that stage with so many greats,” Carter says. “And all falling within the 25th anniversary re-release of my very first album Did I Shave My Legs for This? on UMG Nashville. It is a ‘pinch-me’ moment now, and it will be on that super special night, too.”

In addition, Carter will be hosting a virtual listening party to let the whole world hear the album today (November 5) at 2 p.m. CT. Join HERE. And later this month, on November 16 at 8 p.m. CT, Carter will be chatting with fans about the 25th Anniversary Edition on Talk Shop LIVE, hosted by Kelly Sutton. Join that chat HERE.

“‘Strawberry (Wine) is such a special situation because my grandparents had a farm in Louisiana and my first boyfriend was (from age) 14 to all through college, like it was just so nail on the head. I couldn’t even believe how close it was — the riverbank and all these things. I was just like omigosh, how do these people? They’ve been spying on me. Like this is crazy. And Matraca being from the same area; her mom was in the studio, a singer, and she grew up in Nashville and went to my high school for a minute. It was just a lot of common ground.”

  • REBA McENTIRE READY TO RELEASE REVIVED REMIXED REVISITED BOX SET.

Reba McEntire is set to release her three-part box set, REVIVED REMIXED REVISTED on Friday (October 8th). The project is a reimagined collection of some of Reba’s most adored songs. REVIVED offers Reba’s biggest hits as they’ve evolved over the years in her live show, featuring all new arrangements of fan favorites like “Is There Life Out There” and “Can’t Even Get The Blues” recorded with Reba’s touring band. REMIXED puts a whole new spin on songs including “Little Rock” and “I’m A Survivor” and on REVISITED, Reba works with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb to strip back and recut songs like “Somebody Should Leave” and “Consider Me Gone,” and it features the long-awaited pairing of Reba and Dolly Parton on the classic duet “Does He Love You.”

The collection spans Reba’s entire career and she says she loves the new versions of her iconic hits. “Listening to the three versions of the songs that I have recorded in the past, I have performed on stage, now listening to the dance mix it’s like, ‘Wow, that’s weird!’  Or it’s like, ‘Wow, get up and dance.’ Or ‘I never would have picked that song to be a dance remix until now.’ They did a great job,” says Reba. “I’m just so thrilled with it. And then the way Dave Cobb did the selected songs that we slowed the songs down, we’ve got different instrumentation, it’s just a brand-new song for me. I love them.”

Reba is also set to hit the road this winter for “REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas,” the longest-running country residency in Las Vegas. Taking place  Dec. 1-15, 2021 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. “REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas,” is a culmination of the friendship and musical admiration the trio has shared since first touring together in 1993 and features more than 30 action-packed hits backed by a band of 10 players from both of their touring crews.

  • JOSH TURNER IS GETTING READY TO RELEASE HIS FIRST CHRISTMAS ALBUM, KING SIZE MANGER.

Josh Turner’s first ever Christmas album, King Size Manger  will be available this Friday (October 8th). The album features fresh interpretations of the Christmas classics and introduces four originals, three of which were written by Josh. In support of the album, Josh will embark on a 16-city Holiday & The Hits Tour, culminating at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, where the album will come to life alongside Turner’s most notable hits.

Naming his holiday album didn’t take long once he realized he’d already basically come up with the title when he wrote the song, “King Size Manger.”

“Naming the album King Size Manger was kind of an easy thing because I looked at every other option. As for song titles, and I had even delved into lyrics within certain songs to see if maybe there was something that stood out, and King Size Manger just made the most sense to me, because it was an idea that came to me… I don’t know if anything specific really inspired it. I just I got to thinking about how there’s different sized mattresses that people sleep on, and I guess when I thought about a king-sized mattress, it got me thinking about Jesus being in a manger, like didn’t matter what the actual physical size was like. It was, you know, the right size for a king.”

    1. Angels We Have Heard On High
    2. What He’s Given Me (Featuring Pat McLaughlin)*
