• PARKER McCOLLUM WANTS FANS TO BELIEVE IN THE SONGS ON HIS NEW ALBUM, GOLD CHAIN COWBOY.

Parker McCollum is set to release his major label debut album Gold Chain Cowboy on Friday (July 30th) on MCA Nashville. Parker wrote all of the 10-song project, produced by Jon Randall, including his Platinum-selling No. 1 hit “Pretty Heart” and his latest song on country radio “To Be Loved By You.”

Parker’s only hope is for fans to believe every song on the album. “The only thing I can ask is that they believe it,” says Parker. “I really believe in all the songs and wrote all the songs. As long as the listener will believe every song when they listen to it, that’s about all I can ask for.”

Straddling Texas and Nashville, Parker has not only written on his own – the staggering Green Day-evoking “Rest of My Life” – he shares songwriting credits with Randall, Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, Randy Montana, Rhett Akins, Miranda Lambert and Songwriters Hall of Famer Tony Lane.

Gold Chain Cowboy follows his widely praised Hollywood Gold EP released last fall which became the top-selling debut country EP of 2020. Parker has been named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Rolling StoneBillboard, SiriusXM, CMT, RIAA and more. Rolling Stone calls Parker, “a no-holds-barred, confessional singer-songwriter who excels at relatable tales,” while American Songwriter notes, “The Texas native teeters on the edge of next-level superstardom.”

  • KEITH URBAN KNOWS HOW TO PLAY MUSIC.

Keith Urban is really good at putting things into perspective – his work/home balance, as well as why he started playing music in the first place.

“I always liken it to being in a sandbox and just like calling a bunch of friends over and we’re just gonna make some stuff and see what happens,” says Keith. “The thing I keep being reminded of is it’s calling playing music and I think a lot of the times we all forget that because it’s a job as well, but it’s playing. That’s the first word is playing guitar, playing the drums, playing music, playing. It’s meant to have a playfulness quality to it.”

His current single, “One Too Many” with P!NK, is closing in on the Top 10 on the country charts.

Keith will be back on the road beginning August 26th in Put-In-Bay, Ohio, followed by a show in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on August 28th and Dierks Bentley’s Seven Peaks Festival in Buena Vista, Colorado on September 4th.

  • KYLIE MORGAN RELEASES HER DEBUT EP TOMORROW.

Kylie Morgan is set to release her debut EP Love, Kylie tomorrow (June 11th). Kylie co-wrote all six songs on her new EP, and the collection reveals a transparency and vulnerability that compels listeners to peel back the layers of her story.

Produced by Shane McAnally and Ben Johnson, Kylie details her journey through relationships, life as an artist, and life experiences and see the EP trailer right here:

When it came time to name the EP, Kylie reached back to her early publishing pitches for inspiration. She named the EP Love, Kylie, which was the way she ended each pitch email. She found the sign-off made people feel like they were friends, and that’s how she hopes they feel listening to the EP. “It’s a pretty vulnerable state,” she said of releasing her first collection of songs. “I realized that every song that I’ve been writing has been either about me, about my family, about a friend, about someone I know. I wanted the whole EP to feel like a cohesive story and for every song to feel like a chapter.”

Kylie, a vivacious, auburn-haired spitfire with a powerful voice, a sharp songwriting pen and a keen sense of her artistry, released her new song “I Only Date Cowboys” a couple of weeks ago. The fiery new track is vintage Kylie, giving listeners a glimpse into her personality – listen HERE. Additionally, Kylie released her official music video for the lead track on the EP, “Shoulda,” a heavy up-tempo with a sassy, rapid-fire vocal about the should’ve known betters when dabbling with an ex – watch HERE.

    Love, Kylie Track Listing

    About Kylie:
The Oklahoma native starting writing songs at the age of 12 and gained national attention from music producers and television executives after releasing her music independently. This early success led Kylie to begin making regular trips to Nashville, crafting her voice and polishing her songwriting. When she turned 19, she made the decision to call Music City home. Recognizing Kylie’s unique talent, the SMACKSongs team signed her to their roster under the guidance of GRAMMY Award-winning songwriters, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne. To give fans a glimpse into her upbringing and passion to pursue music, Kylie returned to her hometown of Newcastle, OK to film her “Hometown Heartland” series. Fans can watch all six episodes HERE. An avid yoga enthusiast, Kylie has earned her official Yoga Alliance Certification and participates in yoga daily. While stuck at home and unable to tour, Kylie created the #namasteathome series where fans can participate in short yoga flows/light workouts, watch HERE. Kylie was previously selected as one of three artists for the CMA KixStart program and was named as one of VEVO’s 2021 DSCVR Artists to Watch. The only country artist to make the list, the program highlights 19 of the world’s top emerging artists poised to break out over the next year. As part of the program, Kylie recorded acoustic performances of “Shoulda” as well as “Cuss A Little” which can be viewed HERE. “ ‘Getting Good’ is all about loving where you are right now. In society, we are all moving so fast, and that’s such a wonderful thing, but I think it’s also really important sometimes to be still and count your blessings, and this song is a reminder of that.”

  • KEITH URBAN’S GUITAR-PLAYING HAS A RHYTHMIC FOUNDATION.

Watching Keith Urban play guitar, or any instrument really, is like watching poetry in motion. He has a certain style of playing the reels you in no matter how many times you’ve seen him perform. He says his style is based on his father and on picking up the instrument and practicing every chance he could get.

“Probably a combination of my dad being a drummer, who’s obviously influenced the core of what is my music, but also I started playing guitar at six,” says Keith. “And when you sit in your bedroom playing acoustic guitar every day after school and many mornings before school with my parents telling me I’m running late, you get very rhythmic because it’s just me in the room with my guitar. I didn’t have a drum machine or anything like that, so I got very rhythmic in the way I play. So, it’s always been a big strong part of my music.”

Keith, who is making his way up the country charts with “One Too Many,” featuring P!nk, just announced rescheduled dates for his Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace happening this fall.
