• TRAVIS DENNING GETS READY TO RELEASE HIS NEW EP, BEER’S BETTER COLD, THIS WEEK.

Travis Denning will release his debut EP, BEER’S BETTER COLD, on Friday (May 15th). Travis, who co-wrote five out of the six songs on the upcoming project, taps into his “storytelling skills” (Variety) on the collection as he continues to release more music to meet fan demand.

BEER’S BETTER COLD showcases Denning’s signature sound, as his husky vocals and infectious charm resonates on each track. Opening with a melody-driven “Where That Beer’s Been,” the momentum continues to grow with his top 15 single “After A Few,” the “wickedly fun good-riddance romp” (People) “ABBY” and the “steamy, simmering, sexy” (Music Row) “Tank Of Gas And A Radio Song.” The reflective “Beer’s Better Cold” and wistful “Sittin’ By A Fire” digs into Denning’s roots and young love.

Beer’s Better Cold is really just the first snapshot and chapter of the music I want to bring to the table pretty much through my whole career,” says Travis. “It touches on where I come from, obviously the party we bring on stage every night, and of course, love – the good parts and even the heartbreak. So, I hope everybody sees a big side of me when they hear this whole EP.”

Maddie & Tae (Trying on Rings) OC: (Tae) …your finger. :59
Maddie: So,  we actually wrote ‘Tryin On Rings’ the day after Jonah and I went to the ring store to go look at rings — this was a couple years ago too — and I just remember both of us looking at each other like oh my gosh. You know we’ve been together since we were 15 in high school and just growing up together and going through life and going from this like teenage love, long distance relationship to this — Oh my gosh, we’re gonna spend the rest of our lives together and just this new chapter. So it was very fresh. The day after I was like I had this title, ‘Tryin On Rings’, and we literally just went to the store, and it was kind of weird I didn’t really wanna tell everyone we were going cause it’s just really personal, but I feel like this title needs to be written. So, the co writers Laura and Jimmy obviously Tae all knew that me and Jonah were really thinking about getting engaged so then fast forward a year and half later and…” Tae: “You wearing that ring. It’s on your finger.”

  • VIDEO MESSAGE FROM FOUR-TIME GRAMMY© AWARD WINNER KEITH URBAN REVEALS SEPTEMBER 18TH WORLDWIDE RELEASE OF THE SPEED OF NOW Part 1.

In October 2019 this album title came to me. I liked it because I felt like life was flying by so fast. But music (for me) has always been the place where it slows down and doesn’t even exist.  I would never have imagined that, in 2020, this album title would take on a whole new meaning.

  • JORDAN DAVIS ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE, “ALMOST MAYBES.”

With three No. 1 hits under his belt that The Washington Post notes are “packed with detail” from his billion-streamed debut for MCA Nashville, Home State, singer/songwriter and 2020 ACM New Male Artist of the Year nominee Jordan Davis now eagerly turns the page to his next chapter with four new songs for fans. And it’s his retrospective “Almost Maybes,” a light-hearted salute to the things in life that don’t work out in exchange for those that do, that leads as the EP’s first single, available everywhere today, May 8th ahead of Jordan Davis, the EP, which arrives Friday, May 22nd.

“This is one that feels universal. For the few things in life that do fall into place and work out; there are a lot more that don’t,” shares the Louisiana native of his lead single. “This is for those times, the ‘almost maybes.’”

The artist Rolling Stone and Billboard named an “Artist to Watch” early on in his career penned the track alongside songwriting heavy-hitters Hillary Lindsey and Jesse Frasure. Davis initially debuted “Almost Maybes” on his recent headlining Trouble Town Tour where night-after-night he watched fans across the nation embrace its message:

Here’s to the almost so close
It’s over out of the blues
Here’s to the hey I think we need to talk
    And the it ain’t me it’s you’s
Here’s to the tears and beers
And wasted years on the weeds that look like daisies
I wouldn’t be sitting here next to you
If it weren’t for the almost maybes

Davis’ forthcoming EP, much like its creator, toes the rare line between commercial relatability and intricate songwriting. From the reflective to the feel-good, both exist simultaneously in Davis and his self-titled EP, produced by Paul DiGiovanni.

“Almost Maybes” follows Davis’ recent releases like the deeply personal “Detours,” a collaboration with popstar Julia Michaels for “Cool Anymore” and tour title-track “Trouble Town.” And as Forbes recently noted, “the hits just keep coming” with recent single “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot” hitting No. 1 on the Country radio charts after back-to-back No.1 hits “Singles You Up” and “Take It From Me.”

    Jordan Davis EP Track-list

    1. “Almost Maybes”
    2. “Church In A Chevy”
    3. “Ruin My Weekend”
    4. “Little Lime”
    5. “Detours”
    6. “Cool Anymore” (ft. Julia Michaels)

  • ADAM HAMBRICK RELEASES COVID-19 INSPIRED SONG “BETWEEN ME AND THE END OF THE WORLD.”

Capitol Records Nashville / Buena Vista Records’ Adam Hambrick released his new song, “Between Me and the End of the World,” today. Listen HERE. The song is a heartfelt tribute to Adams’s wife, a physician assistant who has been treating patients throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, and what it has been like for Adam watching her help those in need despite the risk to own self.

“This song is for all the people who step in and serve people when things go horribly wrong,” says Adam. “I have spent this quarantine watching my wife go off to work as a physician assistant to do her version of that, testing and treating people for the virus. It has given me a new appreciation for all the people who spend their lives serving others in difficult times. It’s terrifying seeing someone you love do what they were made to do but have to do it in harm’s way.”

In a departure from the norm, Adam wrote “Between Me and the End of the World” during a solo write and recorded the vocal in his bedroom while his wife was working alongside him. All of the additional recording was done remotely from each musicians’ home studio. The track was featured earlier this week by The Associated Press in their piece ‘reflecting the times’ describing the song as “a tearjerker.”

Adam Hambrick (Between Me and the End of the World) OC: …amazing. :52
“’Between Me and the End of the World’ is a song I wrote and recorded, because it was just an honest feeling and an honest thought I had just through the course of this pandemic unfold and watching my wife have to be a part of treating people and caring for people in the middle of that and it just made me think of all the ways that people serve all the time when things go wrong. Anytime things go wrong, there are all sorts of brave people that step in and serve the rest of us – firefighters, people in the military, paramedics, and right now it is medical professionals, and those people can’t be thanked enough. Because some days the bad news does hit too close to home; some days it does feel like the end of the world, and there’s somebody there standing right there helping the rest of us, and that’s amazing.”
