Jon Langston is putting his stamp on country music with his latest song, “Now You Know,” as well as having fans sing every word to every song he plays during his shows – it’s quite amazing. So, with his song “Now You Know,” we’re illuminating different aspects of Jon in order for you to get to know him a little bit better.

As you may know by now, Jon is signed to Luke Bryan‘s label 32 Bridge Entertainment, which is under UMG’s EMI Nashville. Jon was brought to town by songwriter (and a member of the Peach Pickers) Rhett Akins. Luke kept hearing great things about Jon and says he felt the need to sign him and put him on his Farm Tour, which Jon says was a “dream come true.”

“Luke Bryan has been a good buddy of mine,” says Jon. “We met a couple of years ago when he invited me out on his Farm Tour to open up, and it was pretty cool from the year before being out in the crowd watching the show and the next year being  on that stage — it was incredible. It was a dream come true.”

Current ACM Awards Duo of the Year nominees Maddie & Tae unveiled the official music video for “Bathroom Floor” today on CMT and on Viacom’s Times Square billboard. Mickey Guyton released her honest and unapologetic new song “What Are You Gonna Tell Her?” on Friday (March 6th).  The thought-provoking song asks the simple question, “what are you gonna tell her/when she figures out/that all this time you built her up just so the world could let her down.”

Written by Guyton, Karen Kosowski, Victoria Banks and Emma-Lee, “What Are You Gonna Tell Her?” was hailed as the “No. 1 song of Country Radio Seminar” by Variety. Guyton wrote the song three weeks prior to the UMG Nashville Ryman Auditorium show where she performed the song for the first time and received the only spontaneous standing ovation of the event.  Mickey’s performance can be viewed here.

Travis Denning revealed he will share his debut EP, BEER’S BETTER COLD, on Friday, May 15. Jordan Davis is heading up the country charts with his latest hit, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot.” The song, which he wrote with Lonnie Fowler, has become a big staple in his live show.

“Probably my favorite song off the album. You know, I love ‘Leaving New Orleans’ and that one means a lot to me, but ‘Slow Dance’ is just a song that when we wrote that I just felt like a lot of people need to hear this song,” says Jordan. “It’s a true story. That was written with Lonnie Fowler. We didn’t have an idea what we were gonna write that day and we started talking about first dates. He asked me about my first date, which was not eventful at all, and then I asked him about his first date, and it was him and his wife on their way home, a Garth Brooks song comes on the radio, they pull in a parking lot and he asks her to slow dance. I was like, ‘Dude, if there’s ever a country song, that’s it right there.’ You know, just a song that I’ve been playing for a long time, and I’m happy the world’s getting to hear it. And we can kinda tell too (it) is a song that is a staple in the set now. You know, when we start playing that, people know it.”

Jordan is nominated for New Male Artist of the Year at this year’s ACM Awards, which will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas April 5th at 8pm ET/delayed PT on CBS.
