• SAM HUNT POISED TO HIT THE TOP OF THE COUNTRY CHARTS WITH HIS SMASH HIT “KINFOLKS.”

Sam Hunt is poised to take over the top spot on the country charts with his latest smash, “Kinfolks,” which he co-wrote with Zach Crowell, Jerry Flowers and Josh Osborne.

In addition to impressing a new ladylove, “Kinfolks” is also about family, images and mainly about home. “For me, it’s my hometown, it’s my grandmothers, all my cousins, we have a big family and always got together around the holidays, so it’s all my cousins. And I’ve been posting some pictures on Instagram,” says Sam. “It’s images too. It’s those basketball goals, the houses, the cars, the whole, some of those looks just are nostalgic, and so it’s just home really for the most part.”

When writing the song, Sam also gives a nod to his Mom. “Her name is Joan, yeah. My brother calls her Joanie, and so I wanted to give it a little personal touch, so I threw that line in there.”

Sam’s eagerly-awaited sophomore album SOUTHSIDE will be released April 3rd on MCA Nashville. The album will feature his current smash “Kinfolks,” the introspective ballad “Sinning With You,” and more from the award-winning artist. SOUTHSIDE will be the first full album since Hunt’s critically acclaimed, GRAMMY-nominated, Triple-Platinum-selling debut, Montevallo.

In addition to the April 3rd album release, Hunt plans to hit the road on The Southside Summer Tour 2020 with special guests Kip MooreTravis DenningERNEST and a DJ set by Brandi CyrusThe Southside Summer Tour will kick off May 28th in Charlotte and head to over 40 markets including Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, Birmingham, Houston, Phoenix, San Diego and more

PLATINUM-selling duo Maddie & Tae celebrated RIAA GOLD certification for their current single “Die From A Broken Heart” ahead of their performance at the Grand Ole Opry this past Friday (2/7). Pegged as “their finest moment yet” (Esquire), “Die From A Broken Heart,” struck immediate fan connection garnering over 130 MILLION streams, while the “revealing” (PEOPLE) official music video torpedoed upon release as the best performing first week for a country female in 2019 with over 30 MILLION video streams to date. Approaching the Top 30 at Country radio, the song will appear on the duo’s upcoming sophomore album THE WAY IT FEELS (Mercury Nashville), out on April 10th.

Award-winning duo Maddie & Tae are drawing praise for their new music “anchored around their stellar vocal pairings and some of the tightest harmonies on Music Row” (Rolling Stone) with a “sound that’s identifiable while still representing a distinct step forward” (Billboard). Maddie & Tae first broke out in 2013 with their brilliant “Girl In A Country Song,” which took Country radio by storm, skyrocketing to the top of the charts and quickly going PLATINUM. The duo became only the third female duo in 70 years to top the Country Airplay charts, also earning trophies from the Country Music Academy and Radio Disney Music Awards along with multiple ACM, CMA and CMT Award nominations. Receiving widespread praise from NPR, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, The Washington Post, Glamour and others, country music’s hottest stars including Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, Lee Brice and Brad Paisley have welcomed Maddie & Tae on the road, with the pair set to support Lady Antebellum’s 2020 OCEAN TOUR following their own headlining TOURIST IN THIS TOWN TOUR. For additional information, visit www.maddieandtae.com.

Every can of Two Lane is brewed with high-quality ingredients, including two-row American barley and water sourced from the Blue Ridge Mountains. About Sam Hunt:
Multi-Platinum-selling, award-winning hitmaker Sam Hunt recently introduced fans to his new song, “Kinfolks”- already Top 5 at country radio. Leaning on the sentiment of “you can’t make old friends,” Hunt exemplifies the importance of bringing a new relationship into the mix and comfortability of home. “Kinfolks” follows Hunt’s GRAMMY-nominated, Triple-Platinum-selling debut album, Montevallo (MCA Nashville), which topped the Billboard Country Albums Chart in its first week and it remains the best-selling debut album for a country artist since 2011; and his three-week No. 1, 6x Platinum-selling, GRAMMY-nominated smash, “Body Like A Back Road.”

Montevallo produced four No. 1 singles and five Platinum and Multi-Platinum-selling hits including “Leave the Night On,” “House Party,” “Take Your Time,” “Break Up In A Small Town” and “Make You Miss Me.” Then, Hunt’s “Body Like A Back Road” release shot to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart where it remained for an unprecedented 34 consecutive weeks, shattering the record for most weeks atop the nearly 59-year-old chart. “Body Like A Back Road” was also the No. 3 most-downloaded all genre song of 2017.

Called “stylistically provocative” by The New York Times and “deceptively phenomenal” by The Washington Post, Hunt has received accolades from Associated Press, Billboard, Los Angeles Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, SPIN Magazine, Village Voice, The New York Times, The Washington Post and more. Since the Montevallo’s 2014 release, Hunt has accumulated over 6.85 billion global streams and has earned 22 million RIAA certified units. Hunt is currently in the studio finishing up a new project expected in the new year. For information on Sam Hunt, visit www.SamHunt.com.

  • JORDAN DAVIS OFFERS ADVICE FOR PEOPLE ATTENDING MARDI GRAS.

Jordan Davis grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, and since he’s experienced Mardi Gras nearly every year of his life, he’s got a lot of advice for those attending for the first time.

“My main piece of advice is everybody needs to experience New Orleans at least once,” says Jordan. “Another piece is just pace yourself. It is pretty much a month-long party, so just pace yourself, try to stay hydrated that’s not alcohol, have a blast and catch a bunch of beads. Get a sign – that’s another piece of advice. If you’re really going after beads, get something that catches their eyes. Also, when it comes to making signs, best advice, make it a hoop, ‘cause if you have somebody on a float, if they have something to throw at, you’re gonna get a ton more beads.”

Mardi Gras Day is next Tuesday (February 25th). Also known as Fat Tuesday, it’s the last day of the Carnival season as it always falls the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. The most popular time to visit New Orleans is the extended weekend before Mardi Gras when you can catch parades, like Endymion, Bacchus, Zulu, Rex and all of the festive celebrations throughout the whole city.

The Louisiana native, who is on the road playing sold-out dates including a two-night stand in Denver at the end of the week, is making his way to the top of the country charts with his latest smash, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot.”

“The minute I heard this song I knew I had to record it, because my instant reaction was ‘Man, I wish I had written that,’” shared Denning. “I feel like anyone who has gone through a breakup can relate to it in some way and wishing they had a response as bold as ’Any Body But You.’ We’ve played it out on the road live a few times and the reaction has been wild.
