Multi Grammy Award-winning MCA Nashville country artist Vince Gill released the latest focus track from his upcoming album OKIE today. “Forever Changed” is a song that is both timeless and of the moment. Inspired by Gill’s personal experience with attempted sexual abuse, “Forever Changed” gives voice to survivors of trauma and speaks to the cultural moment in a singular way. “I knew it was important for people to hear—it’s a real thing and you can’t sweep it under the rug,” Gill says, “It’s a story about sexual abuse and grew out of an incident that happened to me in junior high school—I was lucky and I escaped, but who knows how my life could have been different had I not gotten away.”

In 2018, Gill performed the song at the Ryman Auditorium for the Universal Music Group Nashville Artists’ Showcase during Country Radio Seminar. “We’re living in a time right now when finally people are having the courage to speak out about being abused, and I think that is beyond healthy and beyond beautiful—to see people finally have a voice for being wronged,” Gill told the audience, “maybe what’s been going on has given me a little bit of courage to speak out, too.”

Jon Pardi is increasing the anticipation for his new album, Heartache Medication, with the release of another instant grat track, “Tequila Little Time.”

Jon is making his way up the country charts with his latest hit, the title track “Heartache Medication.” The California native is also on the road with Dierks Bentley on the Burning Man Tour, which makes stops this weekend in Massachusetts and New Jersey. Jon will take his Heartache Medication on tour with his own headlining trek beginning with two sold-out shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium October 1st and 2nd.

MCA Nashville recording artist Clare Dunn took a break from a nonstop touring and recording schedule to brighten the day of some very special Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt patients on Friday, August 9th.

The “absolutely magnetic” (Rolling Stone) singer/songwriter/producer spent the afternoon with a group of children at the hospital’s Seacrest Studio where she visited with patients, signed autographs, wore a surgical mask in solidarity with a young fan, and performed a couple of songs to the group’s delight.

“It was such an honor to spend time with these sweet kids and their families,” says Dunn. “Music is a big part of my world, and to get to share it with these children and see their eyes light up warmed my heart! I absolutely loved spending time with them, and hope I was able to bring a few hours of carefree joy to their families as well. Big thanks to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation for having me — I can’t wait to go back.”

Eric Church has given his fans something on tour they probably won’t see from him again…twice. Earlier this year, he kicked off the Double Down Tour where he does it two nights in a row in the same city, with different set lists. During the previous leg of his Double Down Tour, he brought his show to Nashville’s Nissan Stadium (home of the Tennessee Titans) performing over three hours and nearly 40 songs, setting a new attendance record with 56,521 people, breaking the previous record set by Taylor Swift in 2018.

“I feel like from now on, I hope that we can focus on those people that come one night of the year that they’ve traveled however many miles, they want to hear ‘Round Here Buzz,’ they get to hear ‘Round Here Buzz,’ and I still want it to be unique. I want it to be different, but I don’t know if I did another tour like this. I think that the Double Down Tour was as far as I want to go from a challenge point,” says Eric. “I love that we did it. I love that it was a success. I love that there were people that came to both nights and go it. There were people that came to one of the two nights and got it, but at the same time, it’s not something I would do again. I think that’s good. I think that if you’re a fan, you got to see something that – we stretched and you’re not gonna get to see it again. I’ve been to some of those shows before, a fan of artists, and I knew that I was not gonna see this again. For the Double Down Tour, they saw something they’re never gonna see again.”

MCA Nashville recording star Josh Turner earned his first ever Dove Award nominations following the release of his long-awaited faith-based album, I Serve A Savior. The Gospel Music Association announced today the nominees for this year’s Dove Awards including Turner’s three nods for Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year with “How Great Thou Art” featuring Sonya Isaacs, Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year with “I Saw The Light” featuring Sonya Isaacs, and Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year for I Serve A Savior.

“This is a project that I have wanted to record for a long time,” shares Turner. “To be recognized in these categories is sincerely such an honor. I’m a big fan of Sonya Isaacs and thankful she shared her beautiful voice on these songs.”

Jordan Davis just released the new installment of his “Home State Stories” video series on Tuesday (August 13th). Titled “Jeep,” the clip shows the Louisiana native back home with his dad and the 1969 Jeep Wagoneer that he and his brother Jacob took to school. The vehicle had a few issues when Jordan drove it around the neighborhood, but his “Pops” was there to save the day.

Jordan is currently riding his way up the country charts with his latest song, “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot.” It’s the follow-up to his recent chart-topper “Take It From Me,” which he co-wrote with his brother Jacob and songwriter Jason Gantt.

Maddie & Tae just premiered the behind-the-scenes footage of their video, “Die From a Broken Heart” on People.com. The official video, which just went live a few days ago, already has close to a 1.1 million views, and when fans do a deeper dive into the BTS, they’ll soon discover just how true-to-life the actual video is for Tae Dye, one member of the duo, who suffered a heartbreak just two weeks prior to writing the tune with partner Maddie Marlow, Jonathan Singleton and Deric Ruttan. “Everyone is about to get a front-row seat to my biggest heartbreak,” says Tae, adding, “and I’m terrified.”

Director Carlos Ruiz brought the idea to the pair with Tae acting out the story of the song with Maddie as the “musical narrator.” While the clip doesn’t necessarily echo the reality of Tae’s breakup, the duo did offer up some suggestions.

“This is the most hands on we’ve ever been with a treatment,” says Maddie. “We kinda had the bones, and then we just filled in all the rest. And it was really cool because Carlos (Ruiz) was really kind to let us kind of recreate everything and kind of switch around some things and make it a little more personal.
