Brothers Osborne (CMA Music Fest-Nissan Stadium) OC: …their shoes. :40
TJ: “When we first came to Nashville, we had dreams of playing, like ‘Oh my God, are we ever gonna play there?’ And it never even crosses your mind – you’re not playing the stadium. It’s just not happening. And now to circle around and to be playing here, it’s wild. The feeling of it is not lost on us, even the slightest. It’s hard to really, honestly put it into words. It’s literally every kid’s dream, even if you don’t become a musician, you still dream about being on that stage. And we used to come, when we would come, it was Fan Fair, and we would see artists performing on these stages and be like, ‘Gah, we’d just give anything to be in their shoes.”

Audio / CHRIS STAPLETON SAYS IT’S “REMARKABLE” PEOPLE COME TO NASHVILLE FOR A WEEK TO CELEBRATE COUNTRY MUSIC.

Chris Stapleton (CMA Music Fest) OC: …It’s great. :20
“It’s a weird thing, you know, like I can’t think of any other word, other than that I live down the street, so just gonna drive down to the football stadium and play for 25 minutes, you know. Yeah, it’s a remarkable thing to get to be a part of a mass of people who wanna listen to music. It’s great.”

  • BROTHERS OSBORNE ANNOUNCE LIVE ALBUM COMING THIS FALL.

Brothers Osborne will release a live album this fall. Based on their sold-out three-night stand at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium earlier this year, the duo recorded their performances to put together an amazing collection of live songs.

“The Ryman shows we did, we recorded them to put out our first live album,” says TJ Osborne. “So, we’ll be putting it out in the fall. We’ll release the track listing pretty soon.”

Many of their fans have seen multiple shows and not one performance is the exact same. “We’re a band. We play like a band and certain songs we want to go out there, we want it to be a little bit different, because if you just wanted to hear it like the record, then stay home and listen to the record. So, we want to make it special and that gives us one chance every night to really change it up and flip it over on its head,” says John Osborne. “We’ve had people who’ve come to 10, 20, 50, 60, 70 shows, and I think that’s why they keep coming back, because they do get a bit of variation. And honestly for us, it’s good for our soul, it’s good for our integrity, just to get out there, keep it different, keep it spicy, otherwise it’ll just get stagnant.”

The guys, who are making their way up the country charts with “I Don’t Remember Me (Before You),” are currently in the U-K for a couple of shows before coming back to North America with a pair of shows in Minnesota (June 21st and 22nd). Go to brothersosborne.com for more tour dates.

Audio / Brothers Osborne's John Osborne explains why they do slightly different arrangements of their songs on stage every night.

Brothers Osborne (live album from the Ryman) OC: …stagnant. :53
“We’re a band. We play like a band and certain songs we want to go out there, we want it to be a little bit different, because if you just wanted to hear it like the record, then stay home and listen to the record. So, we want to make it special and that gives us one chance every night to really change it up and flip it over on its head. We’ve spent our entire lives practicing at becoming better at improvising, the last thing we want we want to do is be great at improvising and then not get to do it and our musicians on stage are phenomenal sowe want to give the chance to just looking great. And every night some are better than other and that’s okay. If it wasn’t as good one night, that’s actually what makes it special because it’s not the same damn thing every night. And we’ve had people who’ve come to 10, 20, 50, 60, 70 shows, and I think that’s why they keep coming back, because they do get a bit of variation. And honestly for us, it’s good for our soul, it’s good for our integrity, just to get out there, keep it different, keep it spicy, otherwise it’ll just get stagnant.”

  • TRAVIS DENNING REVS UP WITH NEW TRACK “TANK OF GAS AND A RADIO SONG” AVAILABLE TODAY.

Travis Denning released a summer-ready new track, “Tank Of Gas And A Radio Song” today, available HERE. Denning co-wrote the song with Nathan Spicer and Shane Minor, and delivers a driving guitar groove with a relatable sense of sentimentality for a past relationship, recalling memories of road trips taken together, with a gravelly vocal. Denning is continuing to share new music with fans as his current single, “After A Few,” climbs the country radio charts. The new single has been praised by Rolling Stone as “a showcase of his songwriting chops and the guitar licks he woodshedded at backroad bars in his native Georgia” and was spotlighted as one of their “10 Best Country And Americana Songs To Hear Now.”

“This song has been one of my favorites since the day we wrote it, and easily one of my favorites to play live,” said Denning. “I love that the title seems like it would be your stereotypical party song, but I think the approach of the lyrics will surprise people. I hope a lot of people dig this song this summer.”

A CMA KixStart Artist, Denning is gearing up for a stacked CMA Fest next week with multiple appearances scheduled. Fans will have the opportunity to catch Denning at Darius & Friends at The Ryman on 6/3, Grand Ole Opry on 6/4, CMA FEST’s Chevy Breakout Stage on 6/7, as part of CMA Close Up’s Q & A at Music City Center and a performance at Nissan Stadium on 6/8 as well as a performance as part of Spotify House at Ole Red on 6/9.

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, Travis Denning vividly remembers the moment he realized he wanted to pursue music for a living. He was seven years old sitting in his Dad’s truck and heard AC/DC for the first time. From then on, he was hooked and devoured all types of music from country, pop, rock and heavy metal. Denning started playing local bars at the age of 16 and built a solid following from his distinctive songs and raucous guitar licks. He moved to Nashville in 2014 and within a year signed a publishing deal with Jeremy Stover’s RED Creative Group. After securing outside cuts by Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Michael Ray and Chase Rice he caught the attention of Universal Music Group where he eventually signed a record deal in 2017. Denning just released his new single “After A Few” which he co-wrote with Kelly Archer and Justin Weaver following his Top 40 debut single “David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs”. Denning was recently selected as an Opry NextStage recipient and will receive unique opportunities to participate in events as well as connect with industry professionals. The singer/songwriter has previously opened shows for Cole Swindell, Alan Jackson, Chase Rice, LANCO as well as Justin Moore and his first headlining “Heartbeat Of A Small Town” Tour. When Denning is not touring, he is in the studio working on his debut album. For more information, visit travisdenning.com.
