• TYLER HUBBARD SHARES HOW IT ALL STARTED WITH HIS CURRENT TOP 10 HIT BY RELEASING “DANCIN’ IN THE COUNTRY (DEMO – FEAT. KEITH URBAN).”

Tyler Hubbard is giving fans a glimpse into the creative process of how his current hit, “Dancin’ In The Country,” came together. The song is currently in the Top 10 at Country radio and has over 115M global streams. It has already hit No. 1 on the Canadian Country Radio Chart, SXM’s The Highway, and the MusicRow chart. The upbeat anthem was written by Hubbard, Keith Urban, Ross Copperman and Jon Nite, and today Hubbard is releasing the demo from the day they wrote the song, “Dancin’ In The Country (Demo – feat. Keith Urban).”

Urban brings his musical versatility and virtuosity to the demo, not only on guitar, but on bass, ganjo and vocals.  Originally written and recorded in October 2021, the demo of “Dancin’ In The Country” also features Ross Copperman on keys and programming.

“I’ve always admired Keith Urban as a writer, but never had the chance to actually write a song with him.  Keith came into the writing session so engaged and ready to go where the ideas took us.  Ross and Jon are two of the finest writers in town, and by the end of the day we had a song we all felt was special,” said Hubbard. “It’s exciting to share a behind the scenes look at how a song comes together.”

“Spending a day with Tyler, Ross and Jon in the studio writing this song was a total blast,” said Urban. “Especially creating the track with Ross – I love working fast, ideas flowing really quickly- a bass part, a ganjo part, a very intentionally 80s country super compressed electric guitar riff.”

Tyler Hubbard (Dancin’ In The Country) OC: …a fun one. :59
“’Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a really fun, uptempo country song that I’m super excited to play live. I was fortunate enough to get to write this with Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Keith Urban, who’s just incredible as a writer and a guitarist, and he and Ross Copperman really helped capture the feel and emotion of this song sonically and also me and Jon Nite really tried to dial in the lyrics and they were also very helpful with that. But just an incredible day of songwriting and a really cool song that came from it and a song that sounds like nothing else on the project, and honestly, a song that was inspired by these nightly dance parties we’ve been having in my house after dinner. Me and the three kids and my wife we go in the playroom, turn the party lights on just about every night and have a dance party. So, this is one of those songs that always worked in the dance parties  and feels like something that’ll be really fun to take on tour and play live and hopefully get the crowd moving the way the kids do during the dance parties. So, ‘Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a fun one.”

  • JORDAN DAVIS ALMOST COULDN’T BELIEVE HIS EARS WHEN HE FOUND OUT HE WAS NOMINATED FOR ACM MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

Jordan Davis couldn’t have predicted his nomination for ACM Male Artist of the Year, since it has been four years since he was first nominated for the ACM New Artist of the Year. He’s been nominated for a few different awards in the last few years, including winning the CMA Song of the Year in 2022 for “Buy Dirt,” and he finally picks up a nod for Male Artist.

“I haven’t been that shocked in a long time. Definitely the most shocked I’ve been since I started doing music,” says Jordan. “It was definitely shocked to see that I was in that category. I knew I made it through to the last round, but, honestly, I was, y’all see the other nominees in there, some heavy hitters. So, to hear my name first, it was pure shock. But now too, in 2019, I was up for New Artist, so I think it goes to show that I’ve got a great team and great fans, and two, we made some great music that is connecting with people. The awards are amazing, but to be nominated with those guys is a huge win for me.”

Jordan is up against Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and Kane Brown.

The 58th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will stream live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas on Amazon Prime Video May 11th at 8pm ET/7pm CT/5pm PT.

Jordan is currently scaling the country charts with his latest single, “Next Thing You Know.”

Tyler Hubbard has a passion for a lot of things, first and foremost, his family of five, not to mention writing songs, producing records and performing on stage. He also has a passion for his many hobbies, including skiing and riding dirt bikes. He even created a track at his house for him, his buddies and his children (as they grow). Even his three-year-old son, Luca, has an electric bike that he rides around on, showing the same passion for bikes as his dad.

“I’ve always loved a place to ride, especially close to home, so it’s basically a big playground for dirt bikes and any other toy you can imagine,” says Tyler. “And watching my kids grow up, they’re almost to the age where they can start playing (around) with me. So, to have a spot where they can grow up playing on and I can continue growing up playing on is a lot of fun.

Darius Rucker returns to the historic Ryman Auditorium on Monday, June 5 for his 14th Annual Darius and Friends concert benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®. “This is one of my favorite nights every year,” shares the three-time GRAMMY Award winner. “The work St. Jude does for children and their families, and the medical advances they are constantly making – it all continues to amaze me. It’s a huge honor to bring together some of my best friends in Nashville each summer to do what we can to support them through this event.”

Rucker, who has always prioritized philanthropic work throughout his career, made a commitment to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 15 years ago after taking an inspiring tour of the hospital. Through this meaningful experience, Rucker learned how St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Reflecting on his 2008 visit to the hospital to the Tennessean, Rucker noted, “You see these kids who are sick, and they’re so happy to be there, because their caregivers are so loving and giving to them. And then you find out that nobody ever gets a bill. That blew me away. I was just like, ‘We’ll figure out some way to help you guys as much as I can.’”

Now, a decade and a half later, that effort has become an annual tradition. Friends performing with Rucker in past years have included Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Charles Kelley of Lady A, Ashley McBryde, A.J. • PARKER MCCOLLUM RELEASES “TAILS I LOSE” FROM UPCOMING ALBUM, NEVER ENOUGH.

With his new album, Never Enough, set to release May 12th, Parker McCollum is sharing another look at the forthcoming project with the track “Tails I Lose,” which dropped Friday (April 14th). Written by McCollum with Wade Bowen, Brad Warren and Brett Warren, the song hearkens back to country’s classic hits with steel guitar, emotive storytelling, and a timeless turn of phrase delivered with McCollum’s signature vocal conviction.

“We hadn’t heard the phrase ‘heads you win, tails I lose’ in a country song before, so we started writing that idea over a melody and dropping all kinds of imagery about breakups,” shares McCollum. “When we got in the studio, Rob McNelley played that guitar sound and I was like, ‘That’s it.’ The guitar lick is so good, it sets the song up and does it justice. This song is just hardcore country. I love it and hope the fans do too.”

Never Enough, the highly anticipated follow-up to McCollum’s breakout major label debut, Gold Chain Cowboy, is available to pre-order now. Parker also joins an elite group of all-genre stars chosen for Spotify’s new mobile feature, Countdown Pages – a destination for fans to pre-save, watch exclusive video Clips, and see a timer count down to release day. The album’s lead single “Handle On You,” shoot-it-straight confession “Stoned,” and previous releases “I Ain’t Going Nowhere” and “Speed,” are featured on Never Enough (produced by Jon Randall), as McCollum teams up with some of the most esteemed songwriters from Texas to Music Row.

Parker McCollum’s Never Enough Track List:
    1. “Hurricane” (Parker McCollum, David Lee Murphy, Jon Randall, Randy Rogers)
    2. “Best I Never Had” (Parker McCollum, Will Bundy, Brett James)

    14. “Have Your Heart Again” (Parker McCollum, Ashley Gorley, Lee Miller)
    15. “Wheel” (Parker McCollum, Jon Randall, Brad Warren, Brett Warren)

    Produced by Jon Randall

“Handle On You” is closing in on the top of the country radio airplay charts, after tallying 140 million global streams. He recently made his debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform the Gold-certified track. Watch the clip here.

Parker McCollum (Tails I Lose) OC: …stands out. :41
“’Tails I Lose,’ sad country song, which are my favorite songs. The Warren Brothers and Wade Bowen were over at my house, and I don’t remember who had the title but ‘Heads I Win, Tails I Lose,’ I was like I’ve never heard that in a country song somehow, so I want to write that before someone else does. And it was a melody I had been messing around with at the house a little bit, and they had come over and I had some other stuff written to it. It wasn’t very good. And I said ‘Man, this melody would fit the ‘Tails I Lose’ really well.’ That was a fun day writing that song because it’s like an old jukebox, sad, country love song but you can almost hear it before you write it.  And it just turned out so well and it’s got its own identity on the record. It kind of stands out.”
