Kip Moore has released a brand new song and music video, “Kinda Bar,” from his forthcoming fifth studio album DAMN LOVE. Listen to “Kinda Bar” here.  Co-written by Moore and Dan Couch, and co-produced with Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three), the refreshing track conjures magic from a roadside tavern, feeding souls with the same lighthearted twang as “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck.” The music video for the song (directed by PJ Brown) serves as the prequel to Moore’s recently released video for “Damn Love,” showing Moore and his love interest’s meet cute.

“Kinda Bar” is the second track from Moore’s forthcoming project DAMN LOVE, out April 28th and available to pre-order now here. Moore recently shared the album’s title track, creating a cross between campfire contemplation and a redemptive rock anthem. Over 13 new tracks co-produced by Moore and Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three), emotionally raw and thick with epiphany, Moore explores an internal tug of war and puts it simply enough: Damn Love.

Moore kicked off his DAMN LOVE WORLD TOUR with sold-out arenas and an electrifying headline festival slot in Australia, his first-ever show in New Zealand and will continue with shows in South Africa, The U.K., and Europe. Little Big Town and Brad Paisley will be performing at a fundraising event for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, an organization that raises money for research on a cure for Parkinson’s Disease. “A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” will take place  at Nashville’s Fisher Center at Belmont University April 26th. A special dinner starts at 6pm followed by performances from LBT and Brad.

Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman posted a poignant message on her Instagram account to talk about the benefit show, but she also revealed her own mother has Parkinson’s. “As you grow up, there’s a part of life that one doesn’t plan for. I’m there right now. My precious mother has Parkinson’s Disease, and she is fighting it like a warrior. I have learned in recent years that Parkinson’s is incredibly complex and devastatingly debilitating,” she writes. She adds, “Michael J. Fox says his goal from the beginning has been to find a cure and close the doors of his foundation. If you or someone you love are in this fight or if you would just like to fight along with this incredibly important crusade, gather some of your friends and grab a table for a heartwarming & super fun evening.”

Carrie Underwood accomplished so much in 2022, as well as continuing her run into 2023. She tells us she “checked” a lot of boxes, both professionally and personally, in 2022 and continues to take steps to continue accomplishing more goals she’s set for herself.

“I mean, there were a lot of big, big moments and events and things that happened in 2022. We were kind of all over the place in the best way,” says Carrie. “We had our Vegas Reflection residency runs. We kicked off The Denim & Rhinestones Tour. I had some really cool moments with Guns ’N Roses or Axl Rose. I got to check a lot of career boxes last year as well as just some personal dreams that I just really wanted to, wanted the chance to get to do, but never thought I’d get to do…It definitely makes me look forward to 2023 and everything that it has to hold. I’m always looking for opportunities and ways to make whatever I’m doing currently be better than the thing that I just did. I feel like that’s going to be a task this year, because last year was so amazing, but I’m up for it. I’m up to try, for sure.” (laughs)

Carrie resumes her ongoing REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency, returning to the Resorts World Theatre in June.  The first artist to grace the stage of the new 5,000-seat, world-class theatre, she debuted her residency with a sold-out run in December 2021 and went on to perform additional sold-out runs through Spring 2022.

The Oklahoma native is making her way up the country charts with her latest single, “Hate My Heart.”

More performers have been announced for this year’s CMT Music Awards. Darius Rucker will be joined by The Black Crowes for a collaboration of the band’s hit, “She Talks To Angels.” The two acts will film an episode of CMT Crossroads while in Austin, Texas for the show.

The 2023 CMT Music Awards will air live from the Moody Center in Austin, Texas on Sunday, April 2^nd beginning at 8pm ET/PT on CBS, CMT and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Boy Named Banjo made its long-awaited debut on the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday (March 21st). The Nashville-born and raised quintet, Barton Davies, Ford Garrard, Sam McCullough, Willard Logan, and William Reames, stepped into the legendary Opry circle for the first time for a special performance of “Go Out Dancing” and “Heart In Motion.”

“Tonight was such an amazing night! Growing up in Nashville, making our debut at the Grand Ole Opry is such an important milestone for us,” said Davies. “Stepping into that historic circle, playing our original music as a band that’s known each other for years, was an incredible experience I don’t think any of us will forget. And we are all so happy that we got to share this special night with our families and friends who came out to support us.”

Mickey Guyton will appear on CBS Mornings and The Tamron Hall Show on Thursday (March 23rd) to talk about her new show, “My Kinda Country,” which is set to premiere Friday (March 24th) on Apple+. The show was co-created by Kacey Musgraves and Reese Witherspoon and also features Mickey, Jimmie Allen and Orville Peck. “My Kind of Country” is a new singing competition series, which provides an opportunity to showcase diverse artists from around the world.

Kylie Morgan grew up wanting to be a country music artist in Nashville, even telling her mom she wanted to skip college at age 12. The Oklahoma native started traveling to Music City to write songs when she was only 15-years-old, and she finally convinced her parents she would be just fine on her own four years later.

“I had a group of incredible songwriters that’s crazy enough that I still write with today that agreed to write with a 15-year-old, which is crazy to me, and just took me under their wing and believed in me. So, I knew the destination was always Nashville, that’s where I wanted to end up eventually, but I was still in school and so I actually ended up doing online school my sophomore through senior year because I was touring around everywhere really,” recalls Kylie. “When I was 19, I was lucky enough to sign my first pub (lishing) deal out here in Nashville and that allowed me to kind of convince my parents to be like hey, I have a for sure job out there. I have something that I’m going towards, and that’s when they were like, okay, if that’s what you want to do. And so, I actually saved up all the money that I made touring and bought my first house here in Nashville, and my papaw helped me load up this ginormous trailer full of thrift store furniture that I had found, and we made the 12-hour drive from Oklahoma to Nashville. And it’s finally here and it’s all coming together after so many years of man, blood, sweat and tears, it’s finally all happening.”

Kylie is currently making her way up the country charts with “If He Wanted To He Would,” and she’s nominated for Breakthrough Female at this year’s CMT Music Awards.

Brothers Osborne‘s John Osborne and his wife Lucie Silvas welcomed their twins, Arthur and Maybelle, early Tuesday morning (March 21st).

“Welcome to this crazy world, Arthur and Maybelle. It’s going to be a wild one,” he wrote on his Instagram later in the day. Arthur entered the world at 1:43am, weighing in at 3 pounds 13 ounces and measuring 15 ½ inches long. Maybelle arrived one minute later at 1:44am at 5 pounds 1 ounce and 18 inches long.

“We did it y’all. @luciesilvas is a damn warrior princess,” he added.

He first announced that Lucie was pregnant with twins on live television after he and his brother TJ Osborne won CMA Duo of the Year.

Brothers Osborne had to cancel their appearance at Monday night’s (March 20th) Love Rising concert. In a message to fans on their socials John Osborne explained the reason behind the cancellation. John also posted on his own Instagram account that it’s “go time” while wearing a surgical mask and other hospital gear (see this post below).

Parker McCollum is set to perform a pre-race concert at the Nashville Superspeedway ahead of the Ally 400 on June 25th. “I’ve always been a big fan of NASCAR and am excited to bring my show to the track in June,” said Parker in a press release.

Back for its second year after a massive inaugural success, Riverfront Revival has just released its impressive 2023 lineup curated by Darius Rucker.
