  • KIP MOORE LOOKS FORWARD TO EXPERIENCING “THE EUPHORIC NATURE” OF PERFORMING DOWN UNDER.

Kip Moore is getting ready to embark on a sold-out tour of Australia, beginning with a show at the Dittmann Bull Pit Country Fest in Bloomsbury March 11th. The trek Down Under will also include stops in Melbourne, Sydney, Willowbank and Auckland, before he travels to South Africa for more headlining shows, including a two-night stand in Cape Town at the beginning of April.

For his shows Down Under, he says he and his band experience a sort of euphoria when playing to those crowds. “I think we’re most excited about just experiencing the euphoric nature that that Australian crowd always provides us. I think as entertainers that’s all you can ever hope for is that someone pours into you the same thing that you’re trying to pour into them, and Australia gets us that way.”

He does wish he had a little more downtime to explore and enjoy one of his favorite activities. “Unfortunately, I will not have as much downtime as I’d like to have. I would love to surf. I would love to experience the Outback, but we’re kind of in and out really fast. So once again, I don’t really get to experience the country the way I wish I could.”

Kip recently announced the title and release date of his fifth studio album, Damn Love. The 13-song collection will be available April 28th.

  • DIERKS BENTLEY’S 10TH ALBUM IS A COMBINATION OF HIS “GREATEST STYLES AND SOUNDS.”

Dierks Bentley‘s 10th studio album GRAVEL & GOLD is a collection of 14-songs that contain a combination of his sounds and styles over an illustrious 20-year career. He scrapped his first two attempts in the studio, but he wanted to make No. 10 just right.

“I heard about that number a lot as I was going into it, and I really didn’t know what it meant to me personally or what to do with it,” says Dierks. “It wasn’t until I was in the studio for like the second time, I started thinking about ten. And that’s where I kind of start thinking more about like this kind of the tenth album should be, not a collection of, you know, a greatest hits album, but like a greatest styles and sounds of my previous albums all on one record. You know, like an album that collected the little areas I tried to carve my little thing out of. So, like obviously you know radio country, the hits people know for me on the radio whatever those that style is trying to do something new or different, but then also I love of bluegrass and nineties country and the fun songs on this record that would be Beer At My Funeral, you know, some of the more traditional songs too. I really wanted those on here, you know. Again, It gets weird. It goes back to my, like my first album. I didn’t mean to do that, but my first album had some stuff that was different but also had some shuffles. It ended on a bluegrass song with Del McCoury, and this one ends with a Billy Strings bluegrass song. And so I wanted to make an album, my 10th album to be something I could be like, Hey, this is like me doing what I do, all the little things that I love about country music on one album. It’s not a greatest hits, but it’s a collection of my sound and my styles, and hopefully done the greatest I’ve done it before, if that makes any sense. So, that’s what ten, the 10th thing ended up becoming a little bit of a theme for me as far as like, trying to make it a collection of all those styles and sounds.”

The Grand Ole Opry will celebrate Dierks on the release of his 10th studio album, GRAVEL & GOLD , with a special one-hour set, “Dierks Bentley & Friends,” on the Friday, March 3rd show. The Opry will bring to life a portion of the Gravel & Gold album with performances by Bentley as well as his friends Jordan DavisAshley McBryde and more to be announced.

The “Dierks Bentley & Friends” one-hour set will air as a Saturday night Opry Live on March 18th on the Opry’s television broadcast home, Circle Network, Circle All Access Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. The Opry show will be heard on opry.com and wsmonline.com, SiriusXM Willie’s Roadhouse, and the show’s flagship radio home, WSM Radio.

Dierks is making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Gold.”

  • PARKER McCOLLUM READY TO OPEN THIS YEAR’S HOUSTON RODEO.

Parker McCollum is getting a “handle” on headlining the Houston Rodeo. Last year, he sold out his debut appearance, performing for a crowd of over 73,000 people, and this year, he’s set to open the entire 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Tuesday night (February 28th).

The Texas native always dreamed of one day performing at the Houston Rodeo, and he feels this is the biggest goal he could accomplish…so far.

“Performing at Houston Rodeo on opening night is kind of the pinnacle for me. Really the one thing I set out to do when I first picked up a guitar, I did it, and now I’m getting to do it twice, and now I’m getting to do it on opening night,” says Parker. “So, obviously, I want to keep going and keep growing this thing and see how big of a level we can get to, but if this is as big as it ever got, you know I’d be totally okay and sleep just fine at night knowing that I accomplished my ultimate goal, which is playing the Houston Rodeo. Everything else is just a bonus.”

Parker, who’s sitting inside the Top 10 on the country charts with “Handle On You,” recently announced the release date for his upcoming album, Never Enough, available May 12th.

There comes a time in any climb up one of Colorado’s famous 14,000 foot peaks when, after a few hours of striving, you pause on a ledge, turn around, and marvel at the vista and the ground you’ve covered. That’s where Dierks Bentley finds himself, 20 years into an exceptional career in 21st century country music. The view is breathtaking for sure, but this is a multi-platinum artist in peak shape, his eyes fixed on the summit.

The 2020 pandemic gave Bentley a moment to breathe and think about his journey to this point and the possibilities for the heights that lay ahead. The break led to a new burst of creativity. With one foot in Nashville and one in his beloved second home of Colorado, he worked harder than he ever had on an album – his landmark tenth, Gravel & Gold.

It’s a diverse, 14-track album written almost entirely by Dierks with his closest collaborators about perspective and self-awareness at many levels from the personal to the professional. It’s also a testament to the many strains of country music Bentley has mastered and cultivated in his career, from the arena shaker to the barroom weeper to the bluegrass fireballer. In its opening track “Same Old Me,” Bentley recognizes that midlife demands adjustments and adaptations – as well as nurturing the inner fire of the 18-year-old country music fanatic who first arrived in Nashville in the 1990s. Fifty minutes later, we’re in an intimate circle with Music City’s greatest pickers, trading licks and laughs on a witty song about getting high. It was no easy thing to encompass in one record the values and sounds that have defined Bentley across two decades of hits and millions of touring miles, but he’s pulled it off. The story of Gravel & Gold is one of renewal, family, persistence and devotion to making the music as authentic and lasting as it can possibly be.

  • RELIVE FIVE STANDOUT MOMENTS FROM DIERKS BENTLEY’S GRAVEL & GOLD ALBUM CELEBRATION.

On Thursday night (February 23rd) ahead of the release of his 10th studio album GRAVEL & GOLD, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley performed a two-hour set at the Country Music Hall of Fame‘s CMA Theater where he played new music for the first time while mixing in No. One hits and older album cuts as “the event was as much an album release celebration as it was a career retrospective for Bentley,” (American Songwriter). Earning multiple standing ovations, Bentley’s setlist spanned 20 years and followed his musical journey with special guests including Sam Bush, Jason Carter, Ronnie and Del McCoury, The War And Treaty and co-writer Luke Dick joining throughout the night.  Fans can relive five must-see moments from “An Evening with Dierks Bentley: The Road to Gravel & Gold” here.

    1.) “Sun Sets in Colorado”
Bentley expressed gratitude for the Bluegrass community that took him under their wing before sharing with the crowd that he had only one person in mind to play on the new track when it came time to record it in the studio – Bluegrass Hall of Fame and founding New Grass Revival member Sam Bush. The performance earned the night’s first standing ovation.

    2.) “Still”
Backed by only acoustic guitars, Bentley’s distinct vocal led a stripped down version of this favorite off the new album. After getting swept away in the moment, Bentley paused to vulnerably ask to restart the song, sharing how important it was to him to get the lyrics right.

    3.) “Walking Each Other Home”
“You can’t change the world with one song, but it feels good to try,” Bentley said while performing alongside co-writer Luke Dick.  He went on to express gratitude for the gift of connection with the poignant “Walking Each Other Home.”

4.) “Pride (In the Name of Love)”
Bentley has performed multiple renditions of U2’s iconic “Pride (In the Name of Love)” over the years, but last night’s combination of Ronnie and Del McCoury, Jason Carter, Sam Bush with The War And Treaty made for unparalleled harmonies and instrumentation that brought the crowd to their feet.

5.) “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)”
Over the years “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)” has been a staple song during Bentley’s full-throttle tours. To close the one-night only show, Bentley took to the stage with his fifth No. One and Platinum hit “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)” while backed by the evening’s guests who have each been part of the journey to Bentley’s GRAVEL & GOLD.

The 10th album landmark speaks to how time has flown in Bentley’s unique, 21st-century career. He landed his first publishing deal in 2001 and released his debut album in 2003, producing an instant No. One single. The years since have revealed a rare consistency that’s fueled longevity – eight more albums that reached the top of the Country sales charts, resulting in 21 No. One songs, eight billion streams, three CMA Awards, 14 GRAMMY® nominations and membership into the Grand Ole Opry. Trendy sounds have ebbed and flowed around him over these two decades, but fans have relied on Bentley for something more nourishing and individual. He also has created professional endeavors outside of the music with his Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son, along with his “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” franchise hosting four locations.
