On Monday, Luke partnered with Facebook for the exclusive premiere of the video. “Country On” honors and pays tribute to the everyday hard-working Americans who keep the country running. The video, directed by Shaun Silva, features the often-unsung heroes including farmers, truck drivers, first responders, soldiers, cowboys and cowgirls, hometown heroes, parents and more.

This year’s CMA Fest, dubbed “The Music Event of the Summer,” returns for a three-hour ABC-TV special featuring once in a lifetime collaborations and performances this Wednesday (August 3^rd). Dierks Bentley and Elle King will host the show, which was filmed at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium (home of the Tennessee Titans) during the 49^th CMA Fest this past June.

The performances include Dierks’ smash hit “Drunk On a Plane,” as well as a cool collaboration with the iconic Billy Ray Cyrus on his debut single and ’90s classic, “Achy Breaky Heart.”

Carrie Underwood performs both her latest single, “Ghost Story,” as well as her hit single “Good Girl,” while Brothers Osborne turn in a performance of their fan favorite, “Skeletons.”

Luke Bryan performs is No. 1 hit, “Kick The Dust Up,” while Darius Rucker turns in “Wagon Wheel,” as well as a collaboration with the Zac Brown Band on “Chicken Fried.”

Parker McCollum makes his dynamic debut performing “To Be Loved By You.”

The Country Music Association and ABC have announced that two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan and NFL superstar Peyton Manning will host “The 56th Annual CMA Awards.” Luke revealed the news this morning while guest hosting “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” Country Music’s Biggest Night broadcasts live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 9th at 8pm ET on ABC.

“Being a part of such a historical night that honors my peers and Country Music is such a privilege,” says Bryan.  “When I was asked if Peyton Manning was someone I would consider co-hosting with I didn’t hesitate. We have become great friends through the years and what he brings to the table is gonna make it even more of a blast. I know he’s been to the CMA Awards before, but he’s never been with me. It was announced today that star-maker competition series “American Idol” is welcoming back Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie as celebrity judges and Ryan Seacrest as host for its sixth season on ABC airing next spring.  In celebration, five-time Entertainer of the Year Bryan will guest host “Live with Kelly & Ryan” with Seacrest next Monday, August 1st. Luke Bryan is having a blast being on the road with his Raised Up Right Tour. The title was taken from his previous single “Up,” and when we asked him what qualities it takes to be “raised up right,” he thought about it and for him, the traits include respect and humility.

“The Raised Up Right Tour is based on a lyric from my song ‘Up.’ And being raised up right is having your parents stay on ya, teach you respect and humility and being a gentleman,” says Luke. “Like I said, being raised up right is just respect for others, being humble, having a good heart and just being kind to everybody you come in contact with.”

“I love that the song uplifts the hardworking American people out there, and it brings a lot of unity,” shared Luke. “It just has feel-good vibes all the way around it and anytime you can reference country music fans in a song, and you can really make it feel natural, it’s great. And this song does just that.”

Being the son of an American farmer and growing a few crops of his own, the five-time Entertainer of the Year understands the hard work, blood, sweat and tears it takes, and he says the first line of “Country On” drew him to the song right away.

“When you hear, ‘Hey Farm Boy…’ I mean that certainly spoke to me right off the bat, and the fact that we were able to put so many different aspects of the way, the country American way of life out there, and I felt like this song really, really nailed it,” says Luke. “It was something that really spoke to my heart and being able to put it out in the heart of summer, right against the Fourth of July, I feel it’s gonna talk to, speak to a lot of people out there.”

Luke says one of the biggest inspirations behind recording the song is one of the songwriters, Mark Nesler. “One of the biggest inspirations behind the song, ‘Country On,’ is one of the songwriters, a guy named Mark Nesler who sang the demo,” says Luke. “I’ve always loved his voice. He’s just got one of my favorite artist voices, songwriter voices I’ve ever heard, and when I heard him perform ‘Country On,’ and the way he sold it in the demo, to me, it just spoke to me. And all I wanted to do was capture what Mark Nesler was able to capture when he recorded the demo. It spoke to me, and I think it’s gonna speak to a lot of people out there.”
