Country music Superstar and four-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan debuted his seventh studio album BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week, making it his sixth consecutive appearance in the top position. The album also becomes Luke’s eleventh top 10 album on Billboard’s Top 200, since his first appearance with 2009’s DOIN’ MY THING.

“This album has been in the works for a longtime,” says Luke. “I’m grateful to my fans for waiting for it, for radio playing the songs that allowed me to debut a new album with three #1 hits and to my entire team for hanging in there and staying  just as enthusiastic about this music as me.”

Variety wrote of the album, “Bryan, his producers and the songwriters have the creation of earworms down to a science…. it’s also Bryan’s musical vision at its best — using specific details to evoke a cherished way of life.”

“The title of Luke Bryan’s new album, BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE, nods to the humble pleasures of a quiet life, the type of small-town experiences that the country superstar has made his songwriting bedrock, even as he’s played stadiums across the United States,” claimed Billboard Magazine. Also sharing the album’s release after being delayed for four months due to the pandemic, “thankfully returned to beam us back into a simple, straightforward lifestyle.”

The Los Angeles Times said, “the album also continues the sly expansion of country music that Bryan helped set into motion nearly a decade ago.”

This Wednesday, August 19, Circle will celebrate Luke’s new album with a network takeover called Luke Bryan Lives Here. The night will include an encore of Opry Live featuring Luke and Darius Rucker at the Grand Ole Opry from August 15th as well as the broadcast of his performance from the Grand Ole Opry’s Opry Goes Pink from October 2019.

Before the Opry, Bryan filmed a new installment of Circle Sessions: Luke Bryan that will premiere on Wednesday, August 19 beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET as part of a Circle Network takeover called Luke Bryan Lives Here. The takeover is in celebration of Bryan’s new album BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE. The half-hour episode of Circle Sessions: Luke Bryan, hosted by Nan Kelley, looks at his musical influences and how they shaped his career.

Luke Bryan Lives Here will kick off on Wednesday, August 19th with a new installment of Circle Sessions beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET. The premiere of the half-hour episode Circle Sessions: Luke Bryan is hosted by Nan Kelley, and looks at his musical influences and how they shaped his career.

“I thought it could be a really fun night for me to come and perform some songs from some of my heroes who have influenced me along the way,” shared Bryan. “I couldn’t think of a better place to do that than at the Opry.” This show will be taped in the Opry House’s custom-built theater, The Circle Room.

The night also includes an encore of Opry Live featuring Bryan and Darius Rucker at the Grand Ole Opry House on August 15th as well as the broadcast of Bryan’s performance from the Grand Ole Opry’s Opry Goes Pink from October 2019.

Luke Bryan made the heartbreaking decision to not proceed with his annual Farm Tour. Making the announcement on his socials, he said, “We have looked at all kinds of ways to continue with the shows this year but couldn’t come up with a solution to give y’all the full Farm Tour experience while keeping everyone safe,” adding, “Until next year. Love y’all.”

In the meantime, Luke is getting ready to release his new album, BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE, on August 7th.

Luke Bryan is spending a SECOND week at No. 1 on both the Country Aircheck and Billboard country charts with his latest summer smash, “One Margarita.” The song, written by Michael Carter, Matt Dragstrem and Josh Thompson, is the follow-up to his previous chart-toppers, “What She Wants Tonight” and “Knockin’ Boots,” all from his upcoming studio album, Born Here, Live Here, Die Here, due out August 7th.

“’One Margarita’ is like the perfect summertime anthem party song, get on your boat, have a great time. The first time I heard it, I was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s like the catchiest, most fun party song I’ve heard in a long time. So, we knew we had something special with the song,'” says Luke. “We get it recorded, and I’m like, ‘Hey! We’ve got Crash My Playa. What better place to put a song called ‘One Margarita’ out and then do the video?’ So, we go to Crash My Playa and we just start shooting it down there. And the video just feels fun. It came together amazing, and it gives fans a little glimpse of what Crash My Playa is if they’ve never been, and hey-it makes you want to have a margarita.”

Luke is set to host the ABC Special, CMA Best of Fest, which will include years past performances from Luke, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Darius Rucker, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Little Big Town, Lauren Alaina, Miranda Lambert and more, as well as a brand new performance by Luke and Darius. While this year’s CMA Music Fest had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Country Music Association is bringing back many of the epic performances over the years in a new ABC special. Luke Bryan is set to host “CMA Best of Fest,” a three-hour retrospective airing Monday, July 13th at 8pm ET/7pm CT. The live concert experience features more than 25 unforgettable performances having aired on television over the last 16 years of “CMA Fest,” plus a brand new, not-to-be-missed performance with Luke and special guest Darius Rucker.

Obviously, it’s stuff they’ve seen before, but I think it’s going to be a pretty meaningful show.”

The festival will return to downtown Nashville June 10th-13th, 2021.
