  • LUKE BRYAN HITS THE AIRWAVES WITH HIS ‘STORY.’

Luke Bryan has just released his new single, “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day,” which says a whole lot about the Georgia native. He co-wrote it with his pals, the Peach Pickers (Dallas Davidson, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip), and the tune is something that Luke lives every single day.

“[It’s] probably one of my favorite songs I’ve ever done, and I wrote it out on the Farm Tour with the Peach Pickers,” says Luke. “It was a title that I ran by them, and we just started working on it and when we got in our groove on it, we knew we had something special. The production on it is so kind of – is a retro sounding guitar that makes it really, really have a lot of – it has a neat feel to it and I’m just proud to have it on the album. It says my story. Everything I’m about that’s what ‘Huntin’ and Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day’ is.”

“Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” is the follow up to his previous No. 1 hit, “Home Alone Tonight,” from his latest album, Kill the Lights.

The reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year is gearing up to host the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards April 3rd with his buddy, Dierks Bentley. Luke is once again nominated in the Entertainer category, as well as Vocal Event of the Year (for “Home Alone Tonight” with Karen Fairchild). The ACM Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at 8pm ET/delayed PT on CBS.

Audio / Luke Bryan's new single is "Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day,” a song he wrote with his pals, the Peach Pickers (Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip). He says it’s his ‘story.’

Luke Bryan (dreaming of stadiums) OC: …after it. :21
“I remember being a kid and going to see George Strait at a stadium and looking around, going, ‘This is amazing!’ I mean, ‘What can I do one day to hopefully arrive at this moment?’ So, the dream has been there for years, and since that dream [of playing stadiums] started, it’s all about, it’s been all about growing it gradually to the point where you feel like you can go after it.”

  • LUKE BRYAN IS PRANKED BY HIS FELLOW BUCK COMMANDERS.

The guys of Buck Commander decided it was a good idea to prank their fellow member, Luke Bryan, on a recent visit to a deerstand. They planted a live rat in one of the guy’s backpacks and asked Luke to reach into it for some supplies. While it freaked him out a bit, he didn’t flip out, like most folks. Check out the video below.

Luke is currently prepping for his ACM Awards hosting gig next month, along with good friend Dierks Bentley. The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards will broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas April 3rd at 8pm ET/delayed PT on CBS.

  • LUKE BRYAN TEAMS UP WITH JASON DERULO, WHILE CHARLES KELLEY AND ROB THOMAS PAIR UP FOR EPISODES OF CMT CROSSROADS LATER THIS YEAR.

Luke Bryan will team up with Jason Derulo…again…when they hit the stage together this time for a new installment of CMT Crossroads, premiering this summer. As you may remember, Luke joined Jason…sort of…when he taped himself through the Smule app singing on Jason’s super hit “Want to Want Me,” which received several million views on YouTube (check out the video below). The two will trade vocals on each other’s songs

They’re one of four pairs that were announced today by CMT. Charles Kelley and Rob Thomas will share the stage for an episode later this spring; as well as Thomas Rhett with Nick Jonas and Jennifer Nettles with Cheap Trick.

Luke is first looking to next month as he prepares to host the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards with Dierks Bentley. The show will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas April 3rd on CBS.

Charles is making his way up the country charts with his single, “The Driver,” which is from his new solo album of the same title, available now.

Luke Bryan used the extra day in this leap year (February 29th) to bring lunch to firefighters in Franklin, Tennessee,as part of Chevrolet’s #DayItForward.  “Some of the guys who work at this particular station had saved somebody’s life that was jogging,” Luke said. “So with my extra 24 hours, it was a no-brainer for me to come by and show these firefighters a little bit of love and respect.” The reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year showed up unannounced and brought them a good ole southern meal of meatloaf, mac and cheese, green beans, salad and pies.

  • THIS DATE IN HISTORY: Luke Bryan (February 26th)

On February 26th, 2011, Luke Bryan hit the top of Billboard’s country chart with “Someone Else Calling You Baby,” his third No. 1 single.

Audio / In 2010, Luke Bryan released “Someone Else Calling You Baby,” which topped the country charts in February 2011. He says it was a great uptempo tune that everyone would enjoy.

“‘Someone Else Calling You Baby,’ I just felt like it was a great, driving uptempo song, and it was something that everybody relates to. And I think when you hear that chorus one time, you ain’t really got to hear it many more times, and it’s kind of with you. I just felt like I needed that kind of song.”

  • LUKE BRYAN IS READY TO ‘KILL THE LIGHTS’ ON THE ROAD WITH LITTLE BIG TOWN AND DUSTIN LYNCH.

Luke Bryan kicks off his 2016 Kill The Lights Tour at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana on Thursday (February 18th), and he’s taking along some friends with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch. They’ll perform nearly 70 concerts across the U.S. before wrapping this fall.  The tour also includes five stadiums shows- July 16th in Boston at Gillette Stadium, August 19th, in Minneapolis at U.S. Bank Stadium, August 27th in Chicago at Wrigley Field, October 22nd in Dallas at AT&T Stadium, and closing out the tour October 29th in Detroit at Ford Field.

Luke couldn’t be happier that both acts will be on the road with him. ““When I found out we were able to get Little Big Town to tour with me, which is a huge honor for me. They’re headliners in themselves, and we started the talks, and I was like, ‘Oh my God. They’re interested. Let’s do this,’” says Luke. “We got together and worked it out, and now it’s my job to just get with them and create just a fun experience for the fans with them. And I was chomping at the bit to ask Dustin last year did he want to come out again. I just feel like the tour is a great package, and I think I’m just excited about the whole package. It’s gonna be an amazing year.”

The members of Little Big Town are equally as thrilled to hit the road with their pal, Luke, and hope to be able to save some money in the long run. “Nobody throws a party bigger than Luke does, and if you don’t know this about us, we kinda like to have a good time too, so we’re not gonna have any fun,” laughs LBT’s Karen Fairchild. Her bandmate Kimberly Schlapman puts a little levity into the conversation with her tip for not spending a lot on stage clothes. “We’re gonna save some money on wardrobe because Luke, Karen and I can all wear the same jeans.”

Over the weekend, the reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year learned his Kill The Lights album had been certified Platinum by the RIAA. The album debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top 200, his third consecutive album to do so, and Top Country Albums charts. Kill The Lights contains Luke’s two-week No. 1 single “Home Alone Tonight” featuring Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, which they’ll most certainly perform on the road together, and closed 2015 as the best-selling country album of the year and the 10th biggest selling album on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Year-End list. Luke also wrapped 2015 as the most streamed country artist with 660 Million streams.
