• TUNE IN: ANNE WILSON TO MAKE DEBUT ON NBC’S TODAY IN CELEBRATION OF HER NEW ALBUM REBEL THIS FRIDAY, APRIL 19th.

PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson will take center stage in New York City this Friday (April 19th) to celebrate the release of her new album on NBC’s TODAY. On the morning of releasing her bold, genre-defying new album REBEL, Wilson will check off another item on her bucket list as she performs the album’s loud and proud title-track, “REBEL,” live from the heart of Times Square during the 3rd Hour of TODAY. Check out Wilson learning of her TODAY debut in this heartwarming social media clip.

Earlier this month, the 2024 CMT Next Women of Country celebrated her first CMT Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year for her Country radio single “Rain In The Rearview,” while her Christian radio single “Strong” holds steady at No. 2 across multiple Christian radio charts.

As she’s given listeners a taste of REBEL with previously released singles such as “God & Country” and “Country Gold” (with Jordan Davis), fans and industry alike are eagerly anticipating the full record’s release this Friday. Holler notes it’s set to become a “cherished addition to the libraries of fans of both genres,” while Woman’s World stamps that it “combines her faithful heart and Country soul.” Meanwhile, The Tennessean recognizes “she’s both an outlier and so specifically gifted at a myriad of styles.”

After performing her new music on TODAY, Wilson will head to her hometown of Lexington, Kentucky on Sunday (April 21st) for a sold-out album release show at the Lexington Opera House, followed by a performance from the Opry NextStage Class of 2024 artist on Tuesday (April 23rd) at the Grand Ole Opry.

Named as part of Spotify’s 2024 Hot Country Artists to Watch, Wilson wrapped her first Country tour as direct support on Scotty McCreery’s Cab In A Solo Tour. This summer, she will grace the stages of both Country and Christian music’s most sought-after festivals including CMA Fest, Big As Texas Fest, Country Concert, Alive Music Festival and Kingdom Bound, with more dates to be announced soon. • BROTHERS OSBORNE RELEASE THEIR BRAND NEW SINGLE, “BREAK MINE.”

Brothers Osborne have released their brand new single, “Break Mine,” which is from their recently released four-song EP of the same name. John and TJ Osborne co-wrote the song with Pete Good and Shane McAnally.

“Break Mine” almost was forgotten about until one of their collaborators brought it to the duo’s attention again, even though they hadn’t finished writing the song.

“‘Break Mine’ was a song we wrote with Shane McAnally and Pete Good, and we initially didn’t finish the song,” says TJ. “It was about half done, and then months went by and Shane McAnally, or shoot maybe even a year, Shane McAnally texted us and said, ‘Man, I just listened to this work tape, and I think this song is really good. We should finish it.’ So, a couple months went by and we got in the room and finished the song up, and we kind of just felt like immediately there that it was something really special. So, it’s always cool when you have those moments and the song can see the light of day, especially after going through several revisions and almost getting lost at one point. It almost got forgotten about, and then to dive back into it and do the work and get it back out there is just, for me anyways, it’s really an encouraging thing.”

The reigning ACM Duo Of The Year are once again nominated for Duo at this year’s awards show, which will take place May 16th on Amazon Prime.

Brothers Osborne’s “Might As Well Be Us Tour” will be making stops in the Northeast this weekend beginning Thursday (April 18th) in Boston, followed by shows on Friday (April 19th) in Philadelphia and Saturday (April 20th) in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Audio / Tyler Hubbard explains what he hopes fans go away with after listening to his new album Strong.

    Download

Tyler Hubbard (hopes for fans listening to Strong) OC: …take with them. 1:03
“I think with any album, I think my hope is that they get to know me a better through the songs, but also get to know theirselves a bit better. You know, a lot of these songs for me were very self-discovery, if you will. A lot of self-discovery going on when you’re opening yourself up and you’re being vulnerable. And yes, some of these songs are fun and some of these songs are less vulnerable and just sort of like lighthearted and not anything we need to overthink, but then some of these songs are super real, super vulnerable, super authentic, and I think that’s a fun place to kind of go as a creative and I think it’s fun to challenge my fans to kind of do the same thing and look a little deeper into who they are and explore what makes ‘em tick a little bit, what makes ‘em go. So, I hope it does that for them. I also just hope brings people joy. I think there’s a lot of fun on this album. I think there’s a lot of joy in my heart, in my spirit, for my life and for my family, and I hope that it overflows into my music and I hope people hear the album or come to a live show, I hope they leave feeling kind of filled up with joy and just made a good memory that they can take with them.”

  • GEORGE STRAIT’S ‘THE KING AT KYLE FIELD’ ON TRACK TO SURPASS 2014 AT&T ATTENDANCE RECORD.

The demand for George Strait‘s only show in Texas in 2024, ‘The King at Kyle Field’ on June 15th, is so great that he is on track to best his own all-time indoor attendance record of 104,793 set in 2014 at his final Cowboy Rides Away finale at AT&T Stadium. The San Antonio Express-News reported the news earlier this week.

“George has always said he has the best fans, and there’s nothing like a Texas crowd,” shares longtime promoter and founder of Messina Touring Group, Louis Messina. “We knew the show at Kyle Field would be exciting as it’s the first-ever one of its size to be held in the stadium, but even I didn’t expect we’d sell over 100,000 tickets in just a few days. He’ll play to more people in one night than we did at AT&T in 2014! It’s a testament to George’s reputation as an entertainer and performer that here we are, still setting records and personal bests years later.”

Announced on March 19, it’s the shortest time in Strait’s career that a single show has moved over 100,000 tickets. On June 15th, the King of Country Music will be joined by special guests Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman.  Just fyi–it’s a great present for Parker to perform with the King since it’s also his birthday on June 15th.

The news follows the recent announcement that Strait will once again team up with Chris Stapleton to perform one-off stadium dates this year with stops at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium and more. Joining Strait and Stapleton for those nine dates are special guests Little Big Town.

    Strait’s 2024 Concert Calendar:
5/4  Lucas Oil Stadium  Indianapolis, IN
    5/11 EverBank Stadium  Jacksonville, FL
5/25 Jack Trice Stadium  Ames, IA
6/1  Bank of America Stadium  Charlotte, NC
6/8  MetLife Stadium  East Rutherford, NJ
6/15 Kyle Field  College Station, TX
6/29 Rice-Eccles Stadium  Salt Lake City, UT
    7/13 Ford Field   Detroit, MI
    7/20 Soldier Field   Chicago, IL
12/7 Allegiant Stadium  Las Vegas, NV
