Universal Music Group Nashville announces the launch of new label Capitol Comedy Nashville with flagship comedian Nate Bargatze. Capitol Comedy Nashville, a new comedy-centered imprint for the label group, brings Bargatze’s Hello, World! audio album to the masses on September 15th. Pre-Save HERE

“Country music and comedy have always had a throughline connecting lifestyle and culture, sharing stories and character habits through humor,” says UMG Nashville Chair & CEO Cindy Mabe. “We’ve been forever linked going back to the early days of the Grand Ole Opry and classic country shows like Hee Haw where comedians shared billings with musical acts and helped us laugh at ourselves.  As we are looking for further ways to reach audiences through storytelling, I feel there is no better time to re-link our comedy history together with the start of our new label, Capitol Comedy Nashville.”

“It is a great honor to announce Nate Bargatze as our first comedian signed to Capitol Comedy Nashville,” Mabe continues. “Nate is an amazing storyteller who uses his own hysterical anecdotes from his life to connect with audiences everywhere. Through his unassuming, self-deprecating humor, Nate has built an incredible fanbase with his stand-up comedy and he most recently broke attendance records in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena. We are so excited to welcome Nate to our label, and we can’t wait to grow the next era of storytelling through comedy.”

“I have wanted to expand not only my comedy but also build a world with the many talented comedians I know,” shares Bargatze. “This partnership is one of the first steps and I’m very thankful to have a guide and platform with Universal Music Group Nashville.”

Bargatze is a Grammy-nominated stand-up comedian with over twenty years of stand-up comedy success including Netflix specials “The Tennessee Kid”, “Greatest Average American,” and “The Stand-ups.” His latest special “Hello, World,” broke the record as Amazon’s most-streamed original comedy special and earned critical praise from The New York Times, The Daily Beast, Decider, Deadline, Vulture, and more. Bargatze also recently set a new attendance record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with nearly 20,000 tickets sold. He has been hailed as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” by The Atlantic Magazine and a “Rising Star,” by CBS Morning, and now his Hello, World! special releases on all DSPs Sept. 15 and serves as the first release for Capitol Comedy Nashville.

  • BROTHERS OSBORNE GET READY TO RELEASE THEIR FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM.

Brothers Osborne are set to release their self-titled fourth studio album on Friday (September 15th). The guys enlisted Mike Elizondo (Sheryl Crow, Turnstile, Dr. Dre, Twenty One Pilots, Lin-Manual Miranda) to produce, entrusting him with curating his own band of studio musicians, including Paul McCartney’s drummer Abe Laboriel Jr. behind the kit. Miranda Lambert provides the LP’s sole guest vocals on “We Ain’t Good at Breaking Up,” after co-writing the song with John and TJ, along with Jesse Frasure.

The brothers co-wrote every song on the album, including their chart-climbing current single “Nobody’s Nobody,” penned with Elizondo and Kendell Marvel, capturing a message of inclusion and acceptance.

Since the release of their previous album, Skeletons, in 2020, the reigning CMA and ACM Duo of the Year have been very forthcoming with who they are to include TJ’s openness about his personal life and John about his mental health struggles; which had major impact on recording this new album.

“John and I have really shared so much of our personal lives since the release of Skeletons, and I guess we didn’t realize when we created that there was some sort of barriers there that maybe we didn’t realize and certainly didn’t want there,” says TJ. “And this time around, while we didn’t necessarily pointedly or specifically talk about those topics, it was the first time we were able to create without any barriers, and it just made the process a lot more fun. We got to explore a lot more musically in the studio, and we felt like for the first time completely 100% us. And I think, I hope, but I feel that the record reflects that. We thought, usually people do that on their first record, but we thought this is a new beginning for us, so between the change of the producer and a lot of the musicians and stuff, so we just thought this was kind of a fresh thought. So we kind of thought we’re gonna lean in more than we have previously and this us—Brothers Osborne.”

Brothers Osborne will celebrate the release with four newly announced tour dates in October, performing in New York City (10/5), Los Angeles (10/22), Washington D.C. (10/14) and Nashville (10/7).

    Brothers Osborne Track Listing:

    1. “Who Says You Can’t Have Everything” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Casey Beathard)
    2. “Nobody’s Nobody” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Mike Elizondo, Kendell Marvel)
    3. “Might As Well Be Me” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Corey Crowder, Julian Bunetta)
    4. “Sun Ain’t Even Gone Down Yet” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Corey Crowder)
    5. “Goodbye’s Kickin’ In” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Lee Miller, Mike Elizondo)
    6. “Love You Too” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure)
    7. “New Bad Habit” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Lee Miller)
    8. “We Ain’t Good At Breaking Up” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Jesse Frasure, Miranda Lambert)
    9. “Back Home” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Lee Miller)
    10. “Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That” (John Osborne, TJ Osborne, Jaren Johnston, Lee Miller)

  • CARRIE UNDERWOOD AND FANS HELP RAISE OVER $420,000 FOR THE TUNNEL TO TOWERS FOUNDATION WITH DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR DONATION.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is thrilled to announce a significant donation of $420,316 raised by fans of Carrie Underwood who enjoyed the country superstar’s recent 43-city arena tour, THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR. This generous contribution will go directly towards supporting America’s heroes and their families.

Since early in her career, Carrie has designated a portion of ticket sales from her tours to support worthwhile charities and organizations. She continued that tradition by arranging for a donation of $1 from each ticket sold for her recent THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR to be contributed to The Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization committed to providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children, and building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Furthermore, the foundation is steadfast in its commitment to eradicating veteran homelessness and assisting victims of significant U.S. disasters.

Carrie performed several songs on NBC’s TODAY Show, including “Before He Cheats,” her latest single “Out Of That Truck,” “She Don’t Know” and “Church Bells.”

Frank Siller, the CEO and Chairman of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, had this to say: “We are overjoyed and profoundly grateful for this kind gesture. Carrie’s substantial donation, supported by her loving fans, will directly influence the lives of many of our nation’s heroes and their families. It will offer them not only financial assistance but a beacon of hope and a reminder that their sacrifices are recognized and honored.”

“I’m so proud of the fans that came out to the tour and making this donation possible,” says Underwood.  “They have always shown up to support great organizations like Tunnel To Towers, making the world a better place while coming out to see us.”

In an unprecedented move, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation pledges to utilize 100% of this donation towards its cause, forgoing the usual allocation for administrative costs. This means every single dollar of this generous contribution will aid in the provision of mortgage-free homes to families of fallen first responders and Gold Star families, as well as catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.

Of the announcement made Thursday morning on NBC’s TODAY Show, Frank Siller emphasized, “This contribution transcends financial aid; it embodies compassion, unity, and patriotism. We extend our deepest appreciation to Carrie and her wonderful fanbase. Together, they’ve forged a beacon of light, showcasing the profound impacts of kindness and charity.” You can join us on our mission to provide forever homes to fallen first responder families across the nation by going to T2T.org and donating just $11 per month.

About the Tunnel to Towers Foundation:
Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries out its mission to “do good,” by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. Tunnel to Towers is also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America Never Forget September 11, 2001. • KIP MOORE NOTCHES CMA INTERNATIONAL ARTIST ACHIEVEMENT AWARD NOMINATION.

As a testament to his outstanding achievements this year, multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore is nominated for CMA’s International Artist Achievement Award, alongside fellow nominees Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen.

A force to be reckoned with globally, Moore has notched breakthrough achievements on his DAMN LOVE WORLD TOUR this year with sold-out headlining stadium shows in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, The U.K., Europe, and continues stateside through the end of the year. “No one entertains quite like the gravel and grit singer-songwriter from Tifton Georgia” (Entertainment Focus), whose captivating tours have garnered international attention for his rapidly growing cult following and impressive performances that continuously sell out each headlining venue.

Moore made a landmark return to Australia in March, doubling the capacity size of the venues he has previously played with sold-out arenas and an entrancing headline festival slot. “The crowd, tens of thousands strong, went from getting down in their seats or wherever they stood, to slowly swaying, holding up torch lights” and was praised “truly cementing Moore as an Aussie fave” (The Courier Mail Australia).

He then kicked off his sold out South Africa run with an electrifying stadium show in Pretoria playing to over 25,000 fans, followed by two consecutive full capacity arena shows in Cape Town. Moore started his 10-stop stint with intimate shows for his first-ever stops in Germany and the Netherlands, followed by a string of sold-out shows in the U.K., including Royal Albert Hall’s iconic stage in London, where he headlined the inaugural Highways Festival.

Keeping busy this year, Moore released his fifth studio album, DAMN LOVE, this spring. “Each of these songs seems tailor-made for his much-acclaimed live shows,” (Billboard) with the project being praised as “the best album of Kip Moore’s career” (Holler). Co-produced by Moore, along with Jaren Johnston (The Cadillac Three), the 13 tracks  emotionally raw and thick with epiphany explores an internal tug of war and puts it simply enough: Damn Love. Listen to the much praised project HERE.

    About Kip Moore:
Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore recently released his fifth studio album DAMN LOVE, out now. Praised by Holler as “the best album of Kip Moore’s career.” Moore kicked off his DAMN LOVE WORLD TOUR with sold-out headlining stadium shows in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, The U.K., Europe, and continues stateside through the end of the year with The Cadillac Three as support. Known as “one of country’s more thoughtful artists” (Billboard), Moore has toured the world earning acclaim and a rabid fanbase as an all-in performer in each setting, consistently selling out headlining shows internationally with huge followings. Praised by Noisey as “an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylinders” Moore has blazed his trail, with “a bit more Southern rock than traditional country… to be a Kip Moore fan suddenly became a marker of your having a certain refinement in your country-music taste” (Chicago Tribune). Moore first splashed into the mainstream with the double-PLATINUM “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” in 2012, then followed up with three more best-selling No. Ones (“Hey Pretty Girl,” “Beer Money” and “More Girls Like You”).
