• KACEY MUSGRAVES PARTNERS WITH LUCCHESE BOOTS.

EL PASO—Lucchese, the legendary Western brand renowned for its handmade bootmaking process, today announced a partnership with Texas-native, Grammy-winning country artist, Kacey Musgraves.
Together, they collaborated to introduce “Kacey for Lucchese,” a dynamic new collection of boots inspired by Kacey’s life and experiences over the past couple of years both musically and personally.
“I’ve had so much fun designing my boot line for Lucchese. As a native Texan (and a boot wearer!) this brand means something special to me and this opportunity was a dream come true. Every detail on each boot in this line represents sentiments and pieces of me and my career. I hope y’all will wear them as proudly as I will!”

With shared Texas roots and a mutual dedication to artistry, authenticity and craft, collaborating on a new Kacey-inspired boot line was a natural fit.

“Working with Kacey is like listening to her music – it’s motivating and fun,” said Doug Kindy, President of Lucchese. “The collection celebrates her adventurous and confident spirit and unites it with the heart and soul of the Lucchese brand.”

The line includes a unique range of four different Western designs that capture Kacey’s exciting, youthful essence without straying from Lucchese’s traditional, time-honored craftsmanship. Much like the performer who inspired the boots and the bootmaker who crafted them, the “Kacey for Lucchese” collection makes a lasting statement that stands out.

Launching in time for the holidays, the collection features boots expected to retail from approximately $300 to $450. Product will be available at all Lucchese stores (Houston, San Antonio, Santa Fe and Nashville), on Lucchese.com and through additional retail distribution to be announced in the coming weeks. A special, kick-off presale announcement is forthcoming.

  • DARIUS RUCKER AND CHARLES KELLEY CELEBRATE NO. 1 SONG, HOMEGROWN HONEY.

    _MG_2413

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Aug. 25, 2015) – As Darius Rucker, Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum and Nathan Chapman have learned, sometimes you walk out of the writing room with more than just a hit song. Friends before they teamed up, the three songwriters of Rucker’s No. 1 country hit, “Homegrown Honey,” now have a bond few others get to experience.

The trio celebrated the success of “Homegrown Honey,” the first single off Rucker’s fourth chart-topping country album, Southern Style, on Monday, Aug. 24 at the hip Corsair Distillery and William Collier’s Room at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, Tenn.

“Every song I’ve ever written that I love immensely or became a big hit, there’s a bond there,” Rucker told reporters. “You remember sitting in that room, and we all do it all the time. We all sit in a room and we write thousands of songs a year and we punch them in. There’s all these songs in Nashville and you were in a room with two other guys, and here it is the most-played song in our business. That creates a bond that’s lasting, that’s unbelievable. When you see each other, you shake hands and giggle.”

Both Rucker and Kelley told the crowd how excited they were to celebrate Chapman’s first No. 1 hit as a songwriter (he has earned several as a producer, most notably for Taylor Swift). The song was produced by Frank Rogers and is Rucker’s seventh No. 1.

The song, illustrated by a video shot in Rucker’s native Charleston, S.C. and around the world, is about a young woman who leaves her hometown on a quest of discovery. Rucker has been on his own travels recently, journeying to Nashville to tape a Country Music Association edition of PBS’ Front & Center. Later this week, he’ll wrap the first leg of hisSouthern Style Tour, which has drawn more than 700,000 fans to date, after an appearance Friday morning on TODAY’s Toyota Concert Series at Rockefeller Center in New York.

After that, he’ll be appearing Sept. 9 on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, then kicks off the fall leg of the Southern Style Tour on Oct. 8 in Chicago with David Nail and A Thousand Horses as support. Rucker’s latest single, the title cut from his latest Capitol Records Nashville release, is currently climbing the charts at country radio.

  • JON PARDI AND BROTHERS OSBORNE WILL BE AT AN ‘ALL TIME HIGH’ ON TOUR.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (August 24, 2015) – Capitol Records Nashville recording artist Jon Pardi announces today his headlining ALL TIME HIGH TOUR presented by Texas Roadhouse launching this fall. With 18 cross-country dates, the California native kicks off the tour in his home state at House of Blues in San Diego on Oct. 8. Fans can purchase tickets beginning August 28 at www.JonPardi.com with an exclusive presale for Pardi fan club members opening August 26.

Joining Pardi on tour is ACM and CMT Awards nominated duo, Brothers Osborne. Topping the “2015 Ones To Watch” lists for Rolling Stone, Spotify, Paste, Country Weekly andNashville Lifestyles, the duo kicks off the tour as their current Top 30 single “Stay A Little Longer” fires up country radio charts, leading their forthcoming debut album expected early next year.

With multiple sell-out dates on his debut headlining UP ALL NIGHT TOUR, Pardi answered the demand of fans to bring his dynamic live show back out on the road this fall following his run with Alan Jackson on the KEEPIN’ IT COUNTRY TOUR. Jackson notes, “Of all the new guys I’ve heard, I like that Jon is closer to country than most of the others and I think his songwriting is better than what I’ve heard in a while.”

On the ALL TIME HIGH TOUR, fans can expect to hear their favorites from Pardi’s highly-praised debut album Write You A Song including Top 10 GOLD-certified hit “Up All Night,” “Missin’ You Crazy,” “What I Can’t Put Down,” as well as much-anticipated new music. In between his active tour schedule, Pardi has been busy in the studio writing and recording for his forthcoming sophomore album with the lead single from the project set to release in the coming weeks. On the ALL TIME HIGH TOUR, fans will have the unique opportunity to preview brand new music from the singer-songwriter.

“Out of all the tours I’ve been fortunate to be a part of, this one is especially exciting because we’ve been building towards this moment for a while. I have been buddies with TJ and John [Osborne] since moving to Nashvill,e and we have talked about touring together for years. It’s finally here and going to be a blast,” shares Pardi. “I really love the new music I have been working on for the next album and cannot wait to start playing it out on the road for the fans.”

“We have a long history of supporting country music. From our jukeboxes to line dancing among our staff, country music is a big part of the atmosphere at our restaurants,” says Kent Taylor, Texas Roadhouse, Founder and CEO. “We’re proud to partner with Jon on his ‘All Time High Tour’ and our guests can look forward to hearing his music in our restaurants.”

Carving out a new path in the country marketplace and gaining an incredibly strong fan following on the road, Pardi has been praised by The New York Times as “redolent of the buttoned-up power-country of a couple decades ago” and NPR Music for his “clever way with wordplay” and “doing a good job of straddling two markets – what the large mainstream country demo wants, which is pop-country-rock as party anthems, and the smaller segment of the market that prizes its own concept of authenticity.”

“Starting it! No.. I look forward to the most touring with the Brothers- there’s going to be lots of jammin’ and I love John. He’s a great guitar player and they like to jam and I think it’s going to be a big part of the encore. The big jam session at the end and just all the fun we’re going to have and you know we’re going to play a lot of House of Blues and it’s always got cool theaters and looking forward to seeing the fans and having a good time.“

Brothers Osborne (Jon Pardi tour) OC: (John) …good fit. :51
TJ: “It’s gonna be great. I mean, Jon’s one of those guys – I think our music’s pretty different, but we equally love playing. Jon’s a fun guy. He’s crazy as hell. There’s no reason for them to see two artists play the same style, so it’s gonna be pretty fun to have two kind of new artists, label mates, get up on stage and [perform]. We’re good buddies with Jon and respect Jon and love his music, so to be able to share the stage with him and give the audience kinda two different flavors of today’s country, it’s gonna be fun. It’s cool. I’m really looking forward to it. I really, to be honest with you, have no idea what to expect, but I feel really, really confident that it’s gonna be a good time, good show.” JOHN: “I love going out with Jon too, because he does his own thing. He’s not following any trends. He’s being himself. He’s true to his music, and that’s how we are as well, so I think it’s gonna be a good fit.”

  • LUKE BRYAN’S KILL THE LIGHTS REMAINS AT NO. 1 ON THE BILLBOARD 200 ALBUM CHART!

Luke Bryan is spending a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with Kill the Lights. The album sold more than 99,000 copies to land at the top of both the overall and country album charts. It debuted last week at No. 1 with 345,000 copies.

Kill the Lights is the first country album to debut at No. 1 and spend more than one week there in two years. The feat last occurred with his previous album, Crash My Party in 2013.

Luke says, especially with his latest album, he’s become a better recording artist. ““I was having a blast singing these songs and always pushing myself vocally to become a better recording artist,” says Luke. “Up until maybe Crash My Party and this album, I’ve always felt like a live singer. Now I feel like I’ve become an even more solid recording artist.”

Luke is “killing” it on the country charts with his latest single, “Strip It Down.”

  • CANAAN SMITH HAS SOME SUMMER FUN.

While summer is nearly over, Canaan Smith, who’s on the road with Dierks Bentley and the Sounds of Summer Tour, recalls hitting the beach during the warm months when he was a teen.

“I spent most of my summers at Virginia Beach because I’m from Williamsburg, Virginia,” says Canaan. “It has a wide enough boardwalk that we could skateboard and get into some trouble sneaking off smoking cigarettes. That’s what I would do when I was a kid. I’d take off my shirt every chance I get and get out in the sun.”

Canaan comes by his love of the outdoors naturally. “We used to call my dad Turtle Man ‘cause he’d just be standing in the parking lot, and if it was a sunny day, he’d just put his face to the sky and stand there and forget about what was going on around him,” he laughs. “I guess I kinda got that from him.”

Canaan just hit the airwaves with his latest single, “Hole in a Bottle,” from his debut album, Bronco. It’s the follow-up to his No. 1 hit, “Love You Like That.”

  • DIERKS BENTLEY’S MILES & MUSIC FOR KIDS SELLS OUT IN 30 MINUTES.

Tickets to Dierks Bentley‘s 10th Annual “Miles & Music For Kids” celebrity motorcycle ride and concert sold out in 30 minutes. Kicking off CMA Awards week on November 1st in Nashville, TN, the event will close out the outdoor concert season at the new Ascend Amphitheater with a star-studded concert lineup including Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Canaan Smith and The Cadillac Three, among others. All proceeds benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

“I thought we would have a good turnout, but to sell out Ascend in minutes is crazy! It really speaks to the passion that country fans have for causes that are important to their community. I feel honored that ‘Miles & Music’ is one of them,” shares Bentley. “Every year, the biker community has also been there for us, helping raise money for these kids…they are definitely some of the most giving people out there. So, we are holding back a few extra tickets to be sure anyone who wants to ride on Nov. 1 into downtown can jump on their bikes and join us. It’ll be pretty unreal to cruise into a sold-out amphitheater reminiscing about everyone who has helped make the last 10 years so huge – I can’t wait!”

Over the course of the event’s history, Bentley has raised more than $3 million dollars for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the country. Due to their ongoing support, advance purchase tickets have been held for riders and a very limited number will be available for walk up purchase at Harley-Davidson of Columbia on a first come, first served basis the day of the event. You must be a rider planning to participate in the ride, to purchase these tickets. For more information, visitwww.dierks.com.
Dierks is climbing the country charts with his latest single, “Riser.”

Audio / As a father of three, Dierks Bentley says his Miles & Music for Kids motorcycle ride and concert that benefits the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has taken on a bigger meaning now that he has children.

Dierks Bentley (Motorcycle Ride takes on more meaning) OC: …meaning, for sure. :25
“When it first started, it was important to me because country music is so involved with children’s hospitals. You go to a lot of children’s hospitals and see what’s going on there, and it just hits you on any level. But then once you have kids and you’re in Labor and Delivery and you’re just praying for a healthy kid – I’ve done that three times now – and I’m lucky enough to have a healthy kid, I feel very fortunate and want to give back to those families that are struggling right now and could use a little lift. So, yeah, it takes on a lot of meaning, for sure.”

  • DIERKS BENTLEY FAN’S ‘RISER’ STORY GOES VIRAL.

Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley’s epic anthem “Riser” has an everyman quality and powerful message that continues to resonates with fans. Night after night on the road, fans share their personal stories on what being a “Riser” means, but this week, it was a letter from a fan named Gihee Chang that caught Bentley’s attention.

“I cried the first time I heard your song ‘Riser.’ I’ve never had that reaction from a song,’” wrote Chang.  “The lyrics reminded me so much of my dad. My dad brought us to America from South Korea, so his family could have a better life. When we arrived to this country, no-one in my family could speak, read or understand English…my dad never let us know how scared he was, having to provide for his family of five. He never gave up…his hard work paid off. Ten years later he was offered a great job as an Engineer at Boeing. His three daughters all graduated from college…he achieved his American dream. My dad has Alzheimer’s now. He can barely speak and his once strong body is now frail. But in my eyes, he is still a Riser.”

Chang’s colleagues at CBS2/KCAL9 noticed Bentley posted her letter on social media this week and surprised her with an opportunity to meet Bentley at his SOUNDS OF SUMMER TOUR stop at Save Mart Center at Fresno last night (8/20). To watch Chang share her inspiring story with Bentley, click here:http://cbsloc.al/1LocyLx

“Riser” serves as the new single and exclamation point to Bentley’s CMA, ACM and GRAMMY nominated album by the same name, which has already spawned three consecutive No. one’s at country radio. Bentley is set to continue on his headlining 2015 SOUNDS OF SUMMER TOUR this weekend in Mountain View, CA (8/21), Sacramento, CA (8/22) and Stateline, NV (8/23).
