The reigning ACM Duo of the Year just released their new single, “Break Mine,” from their recent EP of the same name.
Jordan Davis has hit the top of the Billboard and Country Aircheck country charts with his latest hit, “Tucson Too Late.” The Louisiana native wrote the tune with his brother Jacob Davis and brothers Josh and Matt Jenkins, the same dream team behind “Buy Dirt.”
“I’ve said this, you know, before, I was a big (Keith) Whitley fan, and ‘Miami My Amy’ was always a song that I thought was done so cool, and it’s just a cool way to write a song. So, this was us trying to hopefully live up to something like that. But, yeah, definitely different than anything I’ve ever put out before, and it’s been cool to see a song that is different than ‘World Spins’ and ‘Take It’ and ‘Singles’ and kind of the more uptempo singles I’ve had, to see this one do well too is awesome.”
In between dates on his own headlining Damn Good Time Tour, he’s also direct support for Luke Combs on several of his stadium dates. Next up for Jordan is the ACM Lifting Lives show with Parker McCollum on Wednesday (May 15th).
At this year’s ACM Awards on Thursday (May 16th), Jordan has four nominations including Single of the Year (“Next Thing You Know”), Song of the Year (“Next Thing You Know” – Artist & Songwriter nominations) and Visual Media of the Year (“Next Thing You Know”). Catch the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards on Amazon Prime beginning at 8pm ET/7pm CT/5pm PT.
Audio / Jordan Davis says it's really cool to see a song like "Tucson Too Late" do as well as his previous singles.

Lauded by Billboard for his “powerful voice,” UMG Nashville/Mercury Records recording artist Dalton Dover has premiered the official music video for his rollicking track “Bury Me In This Bar” with CMT, CMT Music and Paramount Times Square Billboard ahead of the single’s official country radio add date on Monday (May 13th).
“I feel like the concept of this video takes the song to the next level. It really paints you a picture of what it’d look like to actually be buried in a bar,” Dover shared with CMT.com. “I think the fun and lively nature of this song is represented well in this video and I hope fans see that and instantly smile and sing along!”
“Bury Me In This Bar” was written by Dover with Dan Isbell, Jamie Davis and Benjy Davis, and produced by longtime collaborator Matt McVaney (McV), as MusicRow praises, “Dover continues his winning ways with this romping, stomping honky tonker with flourishes of steel and galloping rhythm. Thirsty for real country music? Belly up to this bar. You need the song on your playlist, now more than ever.”
“This is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever been a part of writing,” Dover shares. “We really wanted to capture the fun and energy of those ‘90s country bar anthems that you just can’t skip or resist singing along with when you hear it. I believe it’s one that would make my heroes proud, and we can’t wait to hear people sing it with us on the road.”
As the follow-up to Dover’s first official single “Giving Up On That,” which was most added at country radio upon its debut, “Bury Me In This Bar” earned notable playlisting upon its release, including Amazon’s Brand New Music and Breakthrough Country; Apple Music’s Best New Songs and Apple Music Country; Pandora’s New Country station; Spotify’s New Music Friday, New Boots, New Music Friday Country and the cover of Country Frequency; and YouTube’s RELEASED and Country’s New Crop.
Dover will perform across multiple stages at CMA Fest, including the Billboard Presents Bud Light Backyard lineup on June 7th at Tin Roof Nashville and Dr. Pepper Amp Stage at Ascend Park on Sunday, June 9th.
He recently embarked on his first headlining club tour, the Never Giving Up On That Tour, and he will perform at festivals across the U.S. this summer before heading out to support Sam Hunt on the Locked Up Tour this fall.

Soul-stirring Country firebrand Dillon James is sharing a new song, “Call Me Up,” available today. Written by Dillon with Joe Clemmons and Jonathan Smith, the song is produced by Paul Sikes. Listen to “Call Me Up” here.
“‘Call Me Up’ up is a song I wrote about the ebbs and flows of relationships, they’re not always easy,” shares Dillon. “It’s a song about knowing who you are fully, and the worth you bring to that relationship even when it’s hardest. I have been excited to release this one because I feel it shows a different side of me and my music.”
Recently making his Grand Ole Opry debut (4/30), Dillon showcased his autobiographical track “Walking Man” and forthcoming release “River Black,” dedicating his performance to loved ones who couldn’t be with him, but whose presence he felt in the room.
“I feel so honored to be standing with you all here tonight. God is using me in a way in a way I never thought,” he shared from stage. Giving attendees a glimpse of his journey to redemption he added, “A few years ago, I was living in a sleeping bag. I was alone and I was sad, and I had nothing. This is a full circle moment. It’s the best day of my life. If you’ve got a dream, don’t give up on it.”
In addition to “Walking Man” and “Call Me Up” the California-born singer/songwriter released his shoot-it-straight anthem “My Shadow” in March. More new music is on the way for this rising talent as he opens for Nickelback on select shows this summer, and takes the stage at high-profile festivals including CMA Fest in downtown Nashville, Carolina Country Music Fest and Barefoot Country Festival. For more information, please visit DillonJames.com.
About Dillon James: Born and raised in Bakersfield, California, Dillon James was influenced by the city’s unique blend of Rock n’ Roll and Country music from an early age, picking up a guitar for the first time at the age of 10. Dillon was first drawn to classic rock, though his tastes diversified to the likes of City And Colour, Glen Campbell, Jeff Buckley, George Strait and Bob Dylan by the time he began writing his own music as a teen. Combined with inspiration from the local sounds of Merle Haggard and Buck Owens, Dillon developed the country-rock infused vocals and powerful storytelling that would define his distinct sound. After winning several singer-songwriter competitions and a brief stint working as an actor in Los Angeles, Dillon entered a turbulent period of substance abuse and homelessness. During this painful time, he realized that if he could heal himself and achieve his lifelong dream of becoming a singer-songwriter, he could become a living testament to others as well. Dillon accomplished his goal and moved to Nashville to write and record music, including his debut track “Walking Man,” “My Shadow,” and more set to be released soon. In his own words, “human connection is the goal, music is just the vessel.”
The War And Treaty releases new song “Leads Me Home.” Showcasing a unique sound that has them dubbed the “King and Queen of Gospel Country,” the husband-and-wife pair turned award-winning duo, lean into their Americana roots and deliver a standout, homegrown track.

They also visited the Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project where Michael, an Army veteran, was presented with a certificate for his military service. They returned to Washington, D.C. last week to participate in GRAMMYs On The Hill 2024, which gave winners, nominees and music professionals a chance to visit lawmakers to advocate for legislation advancing music creators’ rights. The trip was highlighted by a surprise performance of recent single “Stealing A Kiss” at a College Signing Day event with Former First Lady Michelle Obama in attendance.
Additional upcoming live performances for the duo include the Recording Academy and GRAMMY Museum’s inaugural GRAMMY Hall Of Fame Gala, CMA Fest, performances across Europe, several tour stops with Zach Bryan and Chris Stapleton, and the recently announced opening slot for The Rolling Stones at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in July. At the end of the day, love will always lead us back home.” TANYA: “That’s right, baby.”

When Bryce Leatherwood sat down with Lynn Hutton and Chris Dubois to write “The One My Daddy Found,” his parents’ 25-year love story was at the forefront of the song’s inspiration. It was only fitting that the song, devoted to his parents and all of the qualities from their relationship he aspires to in his own life, would transform into his first official music video, available everywhere now.
With a release timed to Mother’s Day, “The One My Daddy Found” music video was directed by Lewis Cater and captures the timelessness of lasting love, chronicling the story of a young couple falling in love and growing old together.
Speaking exclusively with People, Leatherwood shared, “The music video for ‘The One My Daddy Found’ was based around the idea of lasting relationships. My inspiration was my mom and dad and I’m very lucky that they’re still together. Everyone wants a love that lasts and that was the vision for my first music video. I hope y’all enjoy and hug your momma.”
“The One My Daddy Found” is Leatherwood’s latest release as he continues to tease new music to come. Leatherwood was most recently featured in Boot Barn’s 2024 spring campaign Taking Flight, a highlight on up-and-coming country musicians. Leatherwood was also named a 2024 Artist to Watch by Music Mayhem and Country Now earlier this year.|
Leatherwood will conclude his first-ever headlining tour, The Neon Does Tour, Saturday (May 11th) in Louisville, Kentucky. The tour took him to 11 cities, including Knoxville, Tennessee; Columbus, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois and more. This summer, Leatherwood will make his CMA Fest debut, performing June 9th on the Good Molecules Reverb Stage.

About Bryce Leatherwood:
Bryce Leatherwood is a 24-year-old singer/songwriter who aims to carry the torch of country music and continue the legacy of legends prior. Bryce was born and raised in Woodstock, GA, and his passion for music began at an early age. Working on his grandfather’s farm every summer, Bryce was exposed to the classic country hits of George Jones, Merle Haggard and Conway Twitty. Soon thereafter, Bryce began picking up guitars and playing the traditional country music that still inspires him today. Bryce’s music career began to blossom in Statesboro, GA, where he attended Georgia Southern University. During his time in Statesboro, Bryce played college venues and continued to hone his stage presence and his country music repertoire. In late 2021 while still enrolled in college, Bryce formed his band and began playing all around the Southeast. Bryce’s goal was to take the stage and play the best of country music to all ages and audiences. After graduating college, Bryce set his mind on a new task. In 2022, he competed on the NBC hit television show The Voice and was crowned the Season 22 winner in December of 2022. Following his success on “The Voice,” Bryce signed with Republic Records / Universal Music Group Nashville and is currently hard at work on new music.
ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Kylie Morgan celebrates Mother’s Day early with the release of “Scratching the Surface (Mama’s Song).” The sentimental track, written by Kylie, spotlights the special bond between a mother and daughter and speaks to the sacrifices mothers make for their children. The lyrics beautifully weave a story of gratitude and hope, straight from a daughter to her mother.
Your past ain’t your purpose
You’re only scratching the surface
Hold on, you deserve it
“I wrote ‘Scratching the Surface (Mama’s Song)’ as a sense of hope for my mama. She is newly an empty nester with my baby sister going off to college, and I felt the sense of her feeling like her purpose was now in her past,” shared Kylie. “I then surprised my mom by singing it live with my sister on stage. After sharing it on social media, it turns out millions of mama’s and daughters felt the same way, which moved this song to the front of the line when it came to my next release. With Mother’s Day coming up, I truly hope this song brings healing and validation to everyone out there with this same feeling.”
Fans keep up with the singer-songwriter on her highly engaged social media pages, which is where Kylie debuted “Scratching the Surface (Mama’s Song).” Following the huge reaction from fans and followers online, Kylie released the song just in time for Mother’s Day. Kylie continues on her headlining “Making It Up As I Go” Tour, with a recent stop on Stagecoach’s Mane Stage and will be joining Walker Hayes on his “Same Drunk Tour.”

Audio / Kylie Morgan talks about the inspiration behind "Scratching the Surface (Mama's Song)."
Kylie Morgan (Scratching the Surface inspiration) OC: …to live for. :27 “So, my mom is actually a newly empty nester. My little sister just went off to college. I moved to Nashville when I was 19 years old, and she’s kind of to the point where she feels like her past has been, you know, all the things that she has done has been the reason for her existence, and I wanted to write this as a tribute to her and all the mamas out there that have so much to look forward to. Even after their babies grow up and move on, we never leave them in our hearts, and at the end of the day, they still have so much to live for.”

Maddie &Tae are really into their Mother Era and enjoying every single moment. Tae gave birth to daughter Leighton in January 2022, while Maddie, who will be experiencing her first Mother’s Day this weekend, welcomed son Forrest last year.
They love everything about being a mother, but Tae says she’s especially enjoying having actual conversations with Leighton. “There are so many things that I love about being a mother, but I think my top favorite is just having like a mini little bestie,” she says. “My daughter’s at like that perfect age. She’s two, and we just do everything together and we have full-blown conversations, and my life is just so much more joyful now.”
Maddie says being a mother to eight-month-old Forrest has given her more purpose and drive. “I think my favorite thing about being a mother is how much purpose and drive it brings to my life,” she says. “My ‘Why’ is so much greater, and it just makes me want to work harder and be a better person, just because my baby deserves it, and Tae’s baby deserves it too ‘cause both of our kiddos have second mamas (TAE: “They do.”) Forrest is basically your baby. Leighton’s basically my baby, so our lives are just so much greater and just so much joy, but we would like a nap this Mother’s Day.” (laughs)

Dierks Bentley recently partnered with WithCo founders Joshua Ellis and Bradey Ryan for their Nashville-based beverage company WithCo Cocktails. Today (May 8th), they announced their non-alcoholic cocktail mixes are now available in more than 15-hundred Walmart stores nationwide.
Made with fresh juices and real botanicals, the launch brings three of WithCo’s signature blends to Walmart shelves—the Ellis Old Fashioned, Agave Margarita and the Bouquet. WithCo has consciously crafted each bottle free of additives, concentrates or natural flavoring and the non-alcoholic mixes “can be enjoyed individually or accompanied by spirits to craft a seamless cocktail” (Forbes). For more information or to find a Walmart that carries WithCo near you, visit WithCoCocktails.com.
WithCo’s Ellis Old Fashioned boasts the richness of Madagascar whole bean vanilla, the complexity of Angostura Bitters, a hint of orange, and a touch of cinnamon. This timeless blend pairs perfectly with whiskey, bourbon, tequila añejo, or mezcal. For those seeking a non-alcoholic option, the Ellis Old Fashioned beautifully complements any non-alcoholic whiskey.
Crafted with smooth agave nectar, freshly squeezed lime juice, and a dash of orange oil, the Agave Margarita mix harmonizes flawlessly with your preferred tequila or mezcal. Simply shake with ice, garnish with a lime wedge, and savor the experience. For a non-alcoholic alternative, shake the Agave Margarita with ice, pour into a glass, and finish with soda water or non-alcoholic tequila.
Completing the lineup is the Bouquet, a captivating concoction marrying the fragrant notes of lavender, the zing of fresh lemon juice, and the delicate essence of dried rose petals. This sophisticated blend can be paired with gin, vodka, tequila, or even champagne, making it the perfect choice for a bubbly brunch cocktail. For those opting for a non-alcoholic version, simply shake the Bouquet with ice, pour into a glass, top with soda water, and garnish with a lemon wedge.
