Reba McEntire celebrated the release of the 30th Anniversary of her iconic album, “Rumor Has It” earlier today with an appearance and performance on ABC’s Good Morning America. Check it out below.

Reba McEntire will be the host of a new original podcast titled “Living and Learning with Reba McEntire” on Spotify beginning September 21st. Some of her upcoming  guests include Dolly Parton, actress and activist Jane Fonda, Queer Eye co-star Karamo Brown and author Glennon Doyle with more famous names to be announced soon.

Fans worldwide can tune in to hear Reba’s trademark wit and wisdom as she and expert guests share honest, comedic takes on struggles we all face when it comes to confronting life’s challenges, making good decisions, and creating happiness around us. Country superstar Reba McEntire releases the 30th Anniversary Edition of her iconic album, Rumor Has It, today (listen HERE). Originally released in 1990, Rumor Has It features four Top 10 hits including the album title track, “You Lie”, “Fallin’ Out Of Love” and her signature hit, “Fancy.” In addition, the anniversary edition vinyl includes a bonus track, a live acoustic version of “Fancy” recorded at The Ryman, while the cd and digital versions features that bonus track as well as a new dance remix of “Fancy.” In celebration, Reba is set to perform “Fancy” on ABC’s Good Morning America Monday, September 14th.

Earlier this month, Reba received her 51^st CMA nomination in the Musical Event of the Year category for being featured on Thomas Rhett’s No.1 hit “Be A Light.” “Be A Light” marks Reba’s 60^th Top 10 hit on the Billboard chart extending her record for the most among female artists. Reba has now collected Top 10 hits in five straight decades and is the fourth artist to achieve the feat alongside George Jones, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton.

The Oklahoma native went through a lot during the making of the album, but she had some downtime to pick just the right songs. “It was 1990, February of 1990. I had Shelby, so that was in February. I had been on bedrest since December the 6th, so finally had him on the 23rd of February and then we started in on the tour,” says Reba. “But while I was on bedrest, I was listening for songs. They’d bring me a huge box of cassette tapes. I had to stay on my left side all the time and I had my boom box and I would listen to songs all day long. So, I had Shelby, and then we went right into recording with Tony Brow and I had been recording with Jimmy Bowen before that since 1984. Tony and I had been big friends for a long time there at MCA Records, so he started producing me and we had a blast with that. Then we went on tour and it was hard. I was way out of shape. I had to get back into shape quick. I had a brace around my back and my stomach because it was the big staircase I had to walk up and down. A lot of stuff happened, but a lot of great things happened out of that. Number-one, Shelby is 30 years old; ‘Fancy’ is my biggest song of my career; four great singles off this album, so I’m really thrilled that we’re getting to re-release it. Who would’ve thought you would’ve been able to do that?”

The nominees for this year’s CMA Awards have been announced, and Keith Urban has earned three nods this year, bringing his total count to 50 nominations and 12 wins. He is now a 13-time Entertainer of the Year nominee, bringing home the trophy two times previously. He has now been nominated 16 times for Male Vocalist of the Year with three wins. Keith received his sixth Musical Event of the Year nomination for Thomas Rhett’s “Be A Light,” which features Keith, Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott and Chris Tomlin. Due to popular demand, country superstar Reba McEntire is set to re-launch another concert special exclusively on YouTube this Friday, August 28.  Marking the first time this special will be available digitally, Reba In Concert features some of the entertainer’s biggest hits including “Fancy,” “You Lie” and “Whoever’s In New England.” The show was filmed in 1990 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas and serves as a dedication to Reba’s original band members (included in the special) who were tragically lost in a plane crash the following year.

Members of both the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame, Vince Gill and Reba McEntire performed together Saturday during the Opry’s 4,933rd consecutive Saturday night broadcast. Gill was inducted in the Grand Ole Opry on August 10, 1991 and McEntire became a member of the Opry on January 17, 1987.

“Every time I see you, I feel like I’m home. You’re like family,” shared Gill to his longtime friend McEntire. During their Opry performance the pair exchanged personal experiences of working together over the years and their special bond as fellow Okies. Both artists performed several of their biggest hits including Gill’s “What The Cowgirls Do” and “Whenever You Come Around” as well as “The Price of Regret” in honor of Civil Rights Leader and Congressman Senator John Lewis. Gill also sang “Little Brother,” a song he’d written about his friend of 50 years, Benny Garcia, who passed away in May. McEntire opened with “How Blue,” before adding “Back To God,” and “Is There Life Out There”, closing the night with “Fancy.” Together the Opry members sang their #1 duet “The Heart Won’t Lie,” a song that also made Country music history with its accompanying cinematic military-themed music video.

Though Opry shows with a live Opry House audience are paused, the show will be broadcast live on Circle and Gray TV stations, DISH Studio Channel 102, Sling TV and other TV affiliates. Opry Live on Circle will be hosted by Bobby Bones. The livestream on Circle All Access and YouTube channel will be guest hosted by Natalie Stovall, a member of the country trio Runaway June and host of Circle’s Southern Weekend. Opry announcer Mike Terry will be heard on 650 AM WSM and SiriusXM.
