Reba McEntire (message and thoughts during COVID-19) OC: …I know I sure will. 1:50
“Our Mama, Jacqueline McEntire, passed away March the 14th of this year, and so my two sisters and brother and I have been really busy here in Oklahoma taking care of her estate and Daddy’s estate, he passed away five years ago. So, we’ve been making sure we get everything separated and divided up amongst us. It’s been healing, sad, hmmm, we’ve found so many fun, wonderful things that we’d never seen before — letters from Daddy to Mama, pictures that I don’t know why she hadn’t shown us but we hadn’t seen ’em before. Mama had put ’em in a box in her closet. So, it’s really neat to see those things and oh, memory lane and so emotional, but gosh, we had a blast. It’s been so wonderful to get to stay with my sister in Chockie, Oklahoma with her and her husband Mark, Susie and Mark. We’ve just had the best time. Some people are in cities with millions, and we’re just here in this little bitty town in Chockie. There might not be more than 14 people here. It’s been a great time of rest, relaxation, meditation, getting to know your family better, my family. I’ve totally enjoyed it. My heart goes out to those peoople who did get sick during the Coronavirus. My heart goes out to the ones who have lost loved ones and family members and friends, but like the song says ‘What If,’ I think it’s really joined us together and made us a tightknit bunch. We’ll survive. We’ll go on, and I think we’ll love deeper, appreciate more and come out stronger at the end. I know I sure will.”

“How I’m doing with social distancing? Well, I’ve got my country distancing, and I’ve been working on the land, praying for the sun and no more rain in Tennessee. I mean it’s just so rainy. I haven’t really gotten to see my family or anything, because everybody’s so far apart, but I’m hanging in there. Trying to write some music, watching TV, Netflix and stuff, so it’s been fun, getting back to my inner self, powering up the soul, know what I’m saying?”
