  • CMA AWARDS 2018: New Artist of the Year

    Lauren Alaina is nominated for CMA New Artist of the Year, following her win for New Female Vocalist of the Year win at this year’s ACM Awards.

    Lauren first burst on the scene in 2011 when she was on American Idol and won the hearts of millions of fans and says music is  all she’s ever wanted to do.

    “My music is so important to me, and it’s been the only thing I’ve ever wanted,” says Lauren. “I’ve always wanted to be a singer and to be on the road and to be entertaining people.”

    She is making her way up the country charts with her latest song, “Ladies in the ‘90s.”

    The 52nd Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, will broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 14th) at 8pm ET/PT on ABC.

  • MORE PERFORMERS ANNOUNCED FOR THIS YEAR’S CMA AWARDS.

    Lauren Alaina, Jon Pardi, Vince Gill and Chris Stapleton with Maren Morris and Mavis Staples have been added to the list of performers for this year’s CMA Awards, along with Brad Paisley, Ricky Skaggs, Ashley McBryde, David Lee Murphy, Marty Stuart, Cole Swindell, Lindsay Ell, Chris Janson, Sierra Hull and Carson Peters.

    They join previously announced performers include Jason Aldean with Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley with Brothers Osborne, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line with Bebe Rexha, Midland, Kacey Musgraves, Old Dominion, Pistol Annies, Thomas Rhett, Underwood, Keith Urban and Brett Young. Presenters will be announced next week.

    Lauren, who just released her new song “Ladies in the ‘90s,” is a two-time CMA Awards nominee. She returns this year with a nomination for New Artist of the Year.

    Vince is a 54-time CMA Awards nominee and 18-time winner. He holds the r ecord for most wins in the Song of the Year category. He is also tied for most wins in the Male Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year (previously Vocal Event of the Year) categories. He returns this year with his 12th nomination for Musical Event of the Year.

    Stapleton is a seven-time CMA Awards winner with 16 total career nominations. He is the reigning Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year winner. He returns this year as the most nominated artist of the night with nods in the Album of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Single of the Year and Song of the Year categories.

    Pardi is a two-time CMA Awards nominee, taking home his first win in 2017 for New Artist of the Year.

    The 52nd Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, will be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena November 14th at 8pm ET on ABC.

  • NEWS AND NOTES: Carrie, George, Vince, Dierks, Luke, Keith, Lauren, Jon Langston, Sam, Travis

    Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will appear together on ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday (November 9th). The two are co-hosting the CMA Awards next Wednesday (November 14th) broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena at 8pm ET on ABC.

    George Strait and Vince Gill are among the artists who will honor Willie Nelson at a tribute concert that will be filmed for an A&E television special next year. Willie: Life & Songs of an American Outlaw, A Willie Nelson All-Star Concert Celebration will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena January 12th. Kris Kristofferson, Sheryl Crow, Lyle Lovett, John Mellencamp, Lee Ann Womack and Alison Krauss will also perform. Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday (November 12th).

    Dierks Bentley will perform on ABC’s Good Morning America from his Nashville Bar Whiskey Row Wednesday morning (November 14th).
    Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Lauren Alaina and Jon Langston will perform at next year’s Country LakeShake music festival in Chicago June 21st – 23rd. Miranda Lambert featuring Pistol Annies, Maren Morris, Brett Young, Danielle Bradbury, Cassadee Pope, Clint Black, Lindsay Ell and many more will also perform. Tickets go on sale Friday, November 16th at 10am CT at lakeshakefestival.com.

    Sam Hunt and Luke Bryan are set to headline the Off the Rails Country Music Festival at Toyota Stadium in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas next year. The two-day event, taking place May 4th and 5th, will also feature performances by Lauren Alaina, Travis Denning,  Jake Owen, Luke Combs, Ashley McBryde and Morgan Evans, among others. Passes go on sale Friday, November 16th at 10am CT.

  • LUKE BRYAN AND SAM HUNT LEAD THE LIST OF PERFORMERS AT NEXT YEAR’S STAGECOACH FESTIVAL.

    The lineup for next year’s Stagecoach Festival has been announced! Luke Bryan, Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean will headline the three-day festival in Indio, California.

    Luke takes on the closing night duties on opening night April 26th. The Friday night lineup also includes Cole Swindell, Brandon Lay, Jon Langston and Kane Brown. Sam leads the list on Saturday (April 27th), which includes Travis Denning, Luke Combs, LANCO and Cam. Jason will headline closing night (April 27th). Lauren Alaina, Jordan Davis, Old Dominion, Mitchell Tenpenny and Mark Chesnutt will also perform, among others.

    “Stagecoach is hands down one of the best country music festivals around,” Sam says. “We’ve been looking forward to coming back for three years. Can’t wait!”

    Tickets go on sale this Friday (October 19th).

In addition to earning nominations for ACM Vocal Event of the Year and Billboard Music’s Top Country Song awards, Lauren took home this year’s ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year Award and CMT Collaborative Video of the Year Award for “What Ifs,” the triple-platinum selling No. 1 hit with childhood friend, Kane Brown. Lauren is one of CMT’s Next Women of Country and she received her first CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year with her No. 1 hit “Road Less Traveled.”  Following the release of Road Less Traveled, Lauren has received nominations for the ACM Awards, CMA Awards, CMT Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards, Radio Disney Awards and Billboard Music Awards.
