  • KYLIE MORGAN HAS TIED THE KNOT…OFFICIALLY.

Kylie Morgan and her longtime love, Jay Allen, were finally able to tie the knot on Sunday (November 27th) in Fort Myers, Florida. The pair were originally set to get married in October, but had to postpone their wedding due to Hurricane Ian.

You can read all about their wedding in an exclusive interview with People magazine here.

Now, in true fashion, the day didn’t happen without a hiccup. They posted on socials on Monday that they had completely forgotten their marriage license, so they had to go pick it up and are legally wife and husband. 🙂

Kylie is currently making her way up the country charts and conquering the streaming charts with her single, “If He Wanted To He Would.”

  • CHRISTMAS 2022: Reba McEntire

Reba McEntire has given us a few holiday collections, and she released The Ultimate Christmas Collection earlier this year. It’s made up of favorites from her previous Christmas releases along with the stirring track, “I Needed Christmas,” which is featured in the Lifetime movie, “Reba McEntire’s Christmas In Tune,” which premiered last year (check Lifetime for a schedule of airings this year).

Reba recalls one of her favorite Christmas memories when she was a young girl in Oklahoma. “The funniest thing I can always remember about Christmastime is my older brother Pake, when we were kids at home, he’d always be the first one to jump out of bed and run down the hall, and he’d just run down the hall with his underwear on,” she says. “And he’d say, ‘If y’all don’t hurry up and get up and get in here, I’m opening all the presents by myself.’ But he knew it was a standing rule we all had to be in there before anybody could open up a present, but I can still see Pake running down the hall.”

When her son Shelby was just a little boy, she recalls one Christmas morning when he was so excited about what “Santy Claus” brought him. “I’ll never forget one (Christmas) morning I woke up and I was laying on my left side and I felt something, and I opened up my eyes, and Shelby was three inches away from my face. He said, ‘Mom, you’re not gonna beweive what Santy Claus weft for me.’ And so, he said you’ve got to come here. I got up out of bed and went in there and there was this little tractor trailer set that he had just fallen in love with at the store. He’s seen it, and he said, ‘I can’t beweive he bought this for me.’ He was so cute.”

Reba, who currently plays Sunny Barnes on the ABC-TV drama Big Sky, will take her headlining tour to Columbus, Ohio on Friday (December 2nd) with opening act Jo Dee Messina and Raleigh, North Carolina on Saturday (December 3rd).

Reba: The Ultimate Christmas Collection Track List

Reba (Christmas memory of Shelby) OC: …he was so cute! :28
“I’ll never forget one (Christmas) morning I woke up and I was laying on my left side and I felt something, and I opened up my eyes, and Shelby was three inches away from my face. Audio / Reba McEntire says these days she prefers an artificial Christmas tree.

    Download

Reba McEntire (fake tree) OC: …half the year. :24
“I definitely have an artificial tree, because when we were growing up, we’d all go out on the ranch and cut down a Christmas tree, bring it in and then we had to water it every other day – make sure the coffee can was full of water – and the cedar needles got everywhere, so nowadays I just go with an artificial tree…and two, I can leave it with the lights on half the year.”

Audio / Reba McEntire talks about leaving her Christmas tree up after the holidays.

    Download

Reba McEntire (leaving Christmas tree up) OC: …really festive. :13
“How long do I leave my Christmas tree and decorations up? Well, after Christmas I am so in tune with the sparkly lights, I leave the lights on and take the Christmas ornaments off. It keeps it really festive.”

  • WATCH NOW: MADDIE & TAE ARE “DRINKING TO REMEMBER” IN NEW VIDEO, OUT TODAY.

Multi-platinum Mercury Nashville duo Maddie & Tae pour one up and replay a memory in the “Drinking To Remember” music video, out everywhere today. Between sips of wine and whiskey, flashback vignettes bring to life the song’s wistful lyrics of a love too good to forget.

Co-written by Maddie & Tae with Benjy Davis and Daniel Ross, “Drinking To Remember” is produced by Derek Wells and Jimmy Robbins. The track is featured on Maddie & Tae’s latest studio release, Through The Madness Vol. 2, the confident second half to their collection of songs, along with Through The Madness Vol. 1 released earlier this year. The Baltimore Sun praises the duo’s honesty across the project as “audiences get a piece of the singer’s souls,” while Holler. echoes “the duo succeeds when leaning into their own vulnerability, finding nuanced ways to further experiment with their dynamic vocals.” Listen to Through The Madness Vol. 2 here.

  • ‘TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2022 (Multiple Artists)

    Reba McEntire
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

    Keith Urban
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

    Carrie Underwood
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.

    Jordan Davis
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter’s nap

    Kimberly from Little Big Town
When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

    TJ Osborne
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

    John Osborne
The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.

    Tae from Maddie & Tae
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tinny reindeer.

    Jimi from Little Big Town
With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.

    Tyler Hubbard
More rapid than eagles his reindeer they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

    Little Big Town
“Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! On Donner and Blitzen!

    Caylee Hammack
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”

    Dierks Bentley
So up to the house-top the reindeer they flew,
With the sleigh full of Toys, and St Nicholas too

    Darius Rucker
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.

As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Down the chimney St Nicholas came with a bound.

    Jordan Davis
He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot.

    Maddie from Maddie & Tae
A bundle of Toys he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler, just opening his pack.

    Karen from Little Big Town
His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

    Jon Pardi
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the beard of his chin was as white as the snow.

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.

    Parker McCollum
He had a broad face and a little round belly,
That shook when he laughed, like a bowlful of jelly!

    Reba McEntire
He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,
And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself!

    Phillip from Little Big Town
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.

    Josh Turner
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And filled all the stockings, then turned with a jerk.

    Luke Bryan

And laying his finger aside of his nose,
And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose!

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

    Alan Jackson
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
“Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!”

Country music titan Bill Anderson receives his first-ever GRAMMY® nomination as an artist in the Best American Roots Performance category for “Someday It’ll All Make Sense” (Bluegrass Version) with Dolly Parton. This is Anderson’s fifth nomination overall, after previously being nominated as a songwriter for “Once A Day” recorded by Connie Smith, “Cold Hard Facts of Life” recorded by Porter Wagoner, “Two Teardrops” recorded by Steve Wariner and “Give It Away” recorded by George Strait.

“What an incredible moment I experienced this morning when my son, Jamey, called to tell me that Dolly Parton and I have a Grammy nomination for our recording of “Someday It’ll All Make Sense.” He heard the news on the radio while he was out running errands and was the first to share it with me,” shared Anderson. “There are so many people to thank, starting with Dolly, who was so gracious to lend her incredible talents to the record. To my co-writers on the song, Bobby Tomberlin and Ryan Larkins; to the record producer, Thomm Jutz; to Cindy Mabe and her staff at Universal Records, who believed from the beginning, as did Rusty Gaston and his staff at Sony Music Publishing….thank you, thank you, thank you. We haven’t won anything yet, but being a nominee makes me feel like a winner. My heart is overflowing with excitement and gratitude.”

Anderson and Parton are featured in the cinematic music video directed by Trey Fanjoy for the original version. “Someday It’ll All Make Sense” was co-written by Anderson with Bobby Tomberlin and Ryan Larkins and is on Anderson’s most recent release, As Far As I Can See: The Best Of, released June 10 by MCA Records/UMe
