• MERCURY NASHVILLE RECORDING ARTIST BOY NAMED BANJO RELEASES NEW SONG “HEART ATTACK.”

The Mercury Nashville band, Boy Named Banjo, releases its latest track today, “Heart Attack” – Listen HERE. Written by band members William Reames and Barton Davies, Ryan Tyndell (Eric Church, Dierks Bentley) and Jeff Hyde (Eric Church, Jason Aldean), “Heart Attack” is produced by Oscar Charles. The Nashville born and raised quintet includes Barton Davies, Ford Garrard, Sam McCullough, Willard Logan and William Reames.

Boy Named Banjo’s music is a fusion of contemporary country, Americana and folk-rock stacked on a foundation of bluegrass. The new track, “Heart Attack,” was written in 2020.  When the guys left the writer’s room that day, the music didn’t quite match the intensity of the lyrics, and the song wasn’t a likely contender for the band to record.

“Almost two years later, Ryan Tyndell pulled the song out and started working on a more upbeat tempo and created a demo for the song,” says Davies. “He played it for us and that’s when the lightbulb went off and we knew we had to record the song, and it turned out to be one of the most fun experiences we’ve had as a band in the studio. We were all drawn to that driving bluegrass lick and felt this song was the perfect song to pay tribute to our grassy roots, while also leaning farther into our progressive country sound.” Adds Reames, “‘Heart In Motion’ is also the perfect vehicle for us to showcase the energy we have when we perform live.”

  • PRISCILLA BLOCK’S DUET WITH JUSTIN MOORE “TOTALLY MADE SENSE.”

Priscilla Block joins Justin Moore on his brand-new song, “You, Me & Whiskey.” She says it made total sense for her to record the song with Justin after hearing it the first time.

“When I listened to it, I was like this song feels like so me. I love whiskey, so it totally made sense. And then just obviously getting that invite, it was just such an honor. It’s cool, because I’ve always been such a big fan. So, when I heard it, it just made sense. It felt like me and just felt like so right. I was like, ‘Let’s Go! When are we getting in the studio?’ And it all played out perfect.”

Priscilla is still trying to wrap her head around the fact that Justin wanted her to be on the song. “I’ve been a fan of Justin forever, and the fact he asked me to be a part of it is just mind-blowing,” she says. “I’m still freaking out. I cannot wait for everyone to fall in love with it just like I did the first time I heard it.”

The “My Bar” singer-songwriter heads back out on her WELCOME TO THE BLOCK PARTY TOUR on Thursday (October 20th) in Des Moines, Iowa, followed by shows in Chicago and Grand Rapids, Michigan over the weekend.

  • MCA NASHVILLE RECORDING ARTIST CATIE OFFERMAN RELEASES NEW TRACK “‘TIL I SEE YOU AGAIN.”

MCA Nashville’s Catie Offerman releases her newest track today, “‘Til I See You Again”– Listen HERE. The song is written by Offerman, Ryan Beaver (Blake Shelton, HARDY) and Jessi Alexander (Lee Brice, Miley Cyrus), and is produced by Dann Huff. It is the fourth track released by Offerman this year (“Happyland Trailer Park,” “Don’t Do It In Texas” and “Get a Dog”).

Offerman’s latest, “‘Til I See You Again,” is what the up-and-coming artist describes as a classic repeat offender situation. “You swear him off, and say that you’re over him – and you say ‘never again.’ ‘Til you see him again, and you’re right back in it,” says Offerman. “It’s crazy how best intentions fly right out the window as soon as that someone walks into the room.”

Yeah, there’s something about me and you

And when we end up in the same room

    It’s automatic, it’s a ride

It starts with, I miss you, and ends with goodbye

I’ll hurt you, you’ll hurt me

It’s always just a matter of time

And I’ll be back on my feet and moving on

Feeling pretty good about being alone

Dancing and singing my freedom song, stronger than ever

I’ll be bartender fill up my empty glass

Things are looking up, not looking back

Laughing so much nobody asks if we ’re still together

Now I’m in such a better place

    Never was real love anyway

Yeah, we were meant to be friends

‘Til I see you again, ’til I see you again

Yeah, you’d think that it’d get old

Just runnin’ down the same dead-end road

But I love how you get me there

Boy, we always crash and burn

And I always end up where

  • DIERKS BENTLEY SETS THE SCENE FOR ‘LIFE ANTHEM’ IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “GOLD” OUT NOW.

Dierks Bentley today releases the scenic music video for “Gold.” With an emphasis on looking at life from a different perspective, Bentley traces the treasures that can be found in everyday moments outlined in the “jangling country-rock tune” (Rolling Stone).  “Gold” is available at all digital retailers here.

“The treatment for this music video almost wrote itself,” Bentley said. “’Gold’ is an optimistic reality check. I think we all wrestle with trying to get through the rocky parts of life and on to the next thing, but there are lots of special moments to cherish even in the middle of the tough stuff.”

Directed by Wes Edwards, the video was shot across the state of Tennessee and reiterates Bentley’s admiration for the outdoors. Backed by his six-string touring ensemble including Charlie Worsham, Bentley intertwines a jam session fitting for “a life anthem that perfectly melds heart-on-sleeve lyrical candor with an infectiously jaunty melody” (Taste of Country). The Top 25 and climbing “cheery, big-sounding single with a valuable philosophical observation delivered in a unique way” (Billboard) sets the stage for his tenth LP, arriving early next year.

  • JOCKEY LAUNCHES JOCKEY OUTDOORS™ COLLECTION WITH COUNTRY SUPERSTAR LUKE BRYAN.

Jockey International, Inc. (Jockey), a 146-year-old family-owned company recognized around the world for its premium apparel, today announced the launch of its Jockey Outdoors™ Collection by Luke Bryan, with the style and personality of Bryan stitched into every piece.

The launch of the Jockey Outdoors™ collection brings 146 years of Jockey base-layer expertise outside. In 1876, founder Reverend Samuel T. Cooper began producing quality socks for lumberjacks. Today, after more than a century spent perfecting base layers, Jockey is continuing Reverend Cooper’s legacy of comfort and quality with a collection built for the outdoors.

With the Jockey Outdoors™ Collection, men don’t have to sacrifice comfort for performance. Providing more than just protection, you could say these outdoor clothes are a lot like the guys they’re built for: tough on the outside, and soft—but strong—on the inside.

“When my friends at Jockey first brought this up it was an easy yes for me,” said Luke Bryan. “One, they are just a wonderful company with values that align with mine and two, I have always been an advocate for the love of outdoors, so it was a no brainer. Once I got my hands on the product and felt the quality, I became even more fired up for this to show up in the stores.”

Engineered with intelligent layers, premium fabrics and performance technology, the compatible pieces are designed to layer, with seams strategically placed to eliminate bulk and keep him covered. The men’s collection features: long sleeve woven, corduroy and flannel shirts and shackets; a long-sleeve performance fishing shirt with vertical ventilation, rod holder tab on the left chest and a hidden soft microfiber cloth for easy sunglass cleaning; long-sleeve henleys and crews; graphic tees; and convertible, utility, and flannel-lined pants.

“As an avid outdoorsman and already a Jockey brand ambassador, Luke was the perfect fit for this next step for Jockey, allowing us to step back to our roots, incorporate our base layer expertise and develop the Jockey Outdoors Collection, which we think will be a hit with our consumers” said Mark Fedyk, president and COO, Jockey. “Luke was highly involved in the design and painstaking quality standards of the line. His attention to detail, demand for quality, and expectation of performance and comfort aligned perfectly with our brand pillars. The collection is designed where comfort starts – at your skin – building solutions from the inside-out for greater comfort and performance.”

Through the end of the calendar year, 2022, Jockey will donate a portion* of sales of the Jockey Outdoors™ Collection to support adoptive and foster families across the United States, a cause Jockey has championed since 2005 with the creation of the Jockey Being Family Foundation, Ltd. (JBF).

To support the launch, an expansive marketing campaign is led by advertising agency NitroC including national television ads highlighted by a spot on the Country Music Awards (CMA), which is to be hosted by Luke Bryan and Petyon Manning on November 9th.

The Jockey Outdoors™ Collection is available now. Step outdoors and experience comfort built from the inside out at Jockey.com/Outdoors, Jockey retail stores, BassPro.com, and with additional select retailers in 2023.

    * Valid 10.1.2022 thru 12.31.2022. Jockey will donate 1% of the purchase price of all Jockey Outdoors™ products sold at US Jockey store and on Jockey.com to the Jockey Being Family Foundation, Ltd. Purchase is not tax deductible. To learn more, visit Jockeybeingfamily.com.

Luke is currently making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Country On.”

  • SUPERSTAR CARRIE UNDERWOOD LAUNCHES “THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR” WITH SOLD-OUT SHOW IN GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA.

8-time GRAMMY® Award winner and 3-time ACM Entertainer of the Year, Carrie Underwood, kicked off her new arena tour, THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR, Saturday night (October 15th) with a sold-out show at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC.

With dates in Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, promoted by AEG Presents, the tour will make stops in 43 U.S. cities including New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, and L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena before concluding in Seattle, Washington on March 17th. Underwood is joined on THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR by special guest Jimmie Allen on all dates.

In addition to many of the popular hits spanning her stellar 17-year career, Underwood’s nearly two-hour set featured songs from her new album, Denim & Rhinestones, which she co-produced with David Garcia, including lead single “Ghost Story” – where she traveled from the arena’s main stage on a florally adorned swing reminiscent of the one featured in the song’s cinematic music video – and “Hate My Heart,” which Underwood recently announced as her next single.

She also performed other fan favorites including “She Don’t Know” and “Crazy Angels,” the latter of which again brought Underwood high above the crowds, delivering gravity-defying vocals while performing aerial acrobatics within a suspended sphere-shaped apparatus. The packed arena went wild when Underwood brought Allen onstage to join her for a duet – and a bit of dancing – on the album’s title track, “Denim & Rhinestones.”

Other highlights of the show showcased Underwood’s renowned vocal range, creativity, dazzling wardrobe, and pure showmanship, as she seamlessly transitioned between cinematic storytelling, resolutely faithful performances, and high-powered rockstar delivery she is known for. Underwood was, quite literally, brought to new heights with impressive lifts and aerial stunts throughout the night, in addition to pyrotechnics that punctuated songs with flare and new live spins on her classic hits.

Her cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” electrified the crowd, just months after she welcomed Axl Rose as a surprise guest during her headlining set at Stagecoach in May, followed by her surprise performance during the band’s UK shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in July.

Underwood was joined onstage by her 8-piece band. THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR is directed by Barry Lather and Nick Whitehouse/Fireplay is the Production Designer.

$1 from each ticket sold for THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR will be contributed to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (t2t.org), which has been helping America’s heroes since 9/11 by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.

Tickets for future dates, including a limited number of exclusive VIP Packages, which include an amazing selection of tickets, custom merchandise, and more are available now.  For more information, go to http://www.carrieunderwoodofficial.com/tour.

Underwood, who is nominated for three CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year (for multi-week #1 smash hit “If I Didn’t Love You” with Jason Aldean), will resume her ongoing REFLECTION: The Las Vegas Residency at the Resorts World Theatre in 2023, following THE DENIM & RHINESTONES TOUR.  The first artist to grace the stage of the new 5,000-seat, world-class theatre, she debuted her residency with a sold-out run in December 2021 and went on to perform additional sold-out runs through Spring 2022.  2023 dates for REFLECTION will be announced at a later date.

  • SAM WILLIAMS RELEASES HEART-RENDING VIDEO FOR NEW SONG “TILTED CROWN.”

Nashville singer/songwriter Sam Williams released a tear-jerking music video for his emotional new song “Tilted Crown,” a featured track on his recently released deluxe album Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown. In an exclusive Facebook premiere earlier this week, the video, directed by brother-sister duo Alexa and Stephen Kinigopoulos of Running Bear and produced by Strange Arcade, shows Williams defenseless and bare. Filmed at the Historic Belcourt Theatre in Hillsboro Village of Nashville, Tenn., the visual delicately details the fleeting woes and blissful moments of Williams’ life in the form of a stage play.

Williams laments on the trials and tribulations of life, love and loss, the weight of his lineage, and finding hope and solace in his vulnerability. On the inspiration behind the video, Williams shares, “I wanted the video to watch like a play of my life. It shows pressure, grief and loss, and a sliver of hope. It’s a tragedy with a silver lining. I hope it inspires people to overcome adversity and be their true selves.”

“Tilted Crown” is featured on the deluxe version of Williams’ debut LP, Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown, which was released last Friday. Listen HERE.

The grandson of country pioneer Hank Williams and the son of outlaw legend Hank Jr., Sam Williams is the latest in a long line of American originals, but he’s not here for the sake of tradition. He sings with his own singular voice and he writes in his own singular style, fusing gut-wrenching honesty with plainspoken poetics and raw vulnerability with deep empathy. Suffering the sudden loss of his sister and mother this past year has been profoundly devastating for Williams, but the journey of grief and self-discovery he has found himself on has led to a deeper understanding of his purpose in life and inspired him to honor his legacy with truth and integrity.
