  • ERIC CHURCH RELEASES CHURCH CHOIR-EXCLUSIVE & ALBUM TO THE PUBLIC.

Having recently celebrated the first anniversary of his ambitiously groundbreaking Heart & Soul triple album release, Eric Church fans everywhere can now enjoy the middle installment of the project, with the & album previously available only to the Church Choir now offered publicly HERE via standard CD, black vinyl and digital platforms.

“Small but mighty, the six-song collection simmers on vulnerable hits,” praises Entertainment Weekly of the Jay Joyce-produced project, with The Wall Street Journal celebrating Church as “knowledgeable and respectful of Country’s history, but not shackled by it” and Forbes acknowledging his penchant for “super-serving his loyal Church Choir crowd.”

Like chart-topping bookends Heart and Soul, & is the result of the famed marathon session Church spent sequestered in rural North Carolina, writing and recording a song from start to finish each day for nearly a month. In addition to earning massive critical acclaim and a Best Country Solo Performance GRAMMY nomination, the initial trifecta release also made waves atop the Billboard charts. Church replaced himself atop the all-genre Top Album Sales chart in back-to-back weeks, with all three albums landing in the Top 10 concurrently and Church becoming the first country artist to simultaneously occupy the two top spots on the Billboard Vinyl Albums chart since its inception in 2011, with Soul and & respectively.

As well as the poignant “Through My Ray Bans,” dedicated to the fans he played for at Route 91 Harvest Country Music Festival, the & album also features four new-to-the-public songs – “Do Side,” “Kiss Her Goodbye,” “Mad Man” and “Lone Wolf” – plus the 2020 CMA Entertainer of the Year’s latest single, “Doing Life With Me.”

Written by Church together with Casey Beathard (“Mr. Misunderstood,” “Hell Of A View”) and Jeffrey Steele (“Stick That In Your Country Song”), the reflective song sees Church expressing gratitude for those by his side through the journey of a musical career:

    I don’t pray much anymore

    For this old troubadour’s

    Happiness, wishes, wants and needs

End of my ropes, hopes and dreams

    Spend my livin’ giving thanks

For the ships I never sank

Every big, every little in the everyday things

The notes and the words and the songs I sing

To the ones doing life with me

    About Eric Church
Eric Church’s most recent critically acclaimed and chart-topping albums, from his Heart & Soul three-part project, are available everywhere now. Featuring the results of a marathon session during which he spent nearly a month writing and recording a song per day while sequestered in rural North Carolina, the project features his latest Gold-certified No. 1 “Hell of a View” and recent Top 5 hit “Heart On Fire” as well as brand-new single “Doing Life With Me,” impacting radio now.

He recently wrapped his 55-city The Gather Again Tour, visiting full-capacity arenas for an in-the-round show on the Billboard Music Awards’ Top Country Tour, in addition to a headlining spot alongside George Strait and Metallica during the ATLive festival at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and his own one-of-a-kind headlining stadium shows at Milwaukee’s American Family Field and Minneapolis’s U.S. Bank Stadium. Church also took to the field at Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium to perform the National Anthem with R&B star Jazmine Sullivan ahead of Super Bowl LV in 2021 and during 2019’s Double Down Tour he played back-to-back nights of two unique shows in each market sans opening act, giving every city’s fans six-plus hours of his iconic music. The tour also featured a massive stop at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, where he broke the venue’s concert attendance record with more than 56,000 fans in attendance and became the first artist to sell out the venue with a solo lineup.

Eric Church (listening back as a fan) OC: …another one. :33
“The last day of the project, I remember sitting beside Artisanal, which is the restaurant (we recorded Heart & Soul) in my bus and I remember sitting there listening to songs back, and it was interesting to me because my interaction with these songs were daily. I didn’t really have a long memory, so as I listened back, I listened back as a fan. I didn’t listen back as the guy who created this to make a statement. I was a fan. I knew these songs for 24 hours and then made another one.”

  • BILL ANDERSON AND DOLLY PARTON UNLEASH BLUEGRASS VERSION OF “SOMEDAY IT’LL ALL MAKE SENSE.”

Following the ‘Good Morning America‘ debut of the official music video and stellar reviews for the emotionally driven ballad, Whisperin’ Bill Anderson and Dolly Parton release a bluegrass version of “Someday It’ll All Make Sense,” available everywhere today.

To stream and download “Someday It’ll All Make Sense (Bluegrass Version)” click HERE.

“The bluegrass/acoustical version was the original way this song was recorded. Sierra Hull played mandolin, her husband, Justin Moses, played fiddle and dobro and the record was co-produced by longtime bluegrass stalwart, Thomm Jutz. Both Dolly and I have a deep appreciation for the simplicity and authenticity of this type of music, and we both wanted this version to be heard,” Anderson shared. “I think the intimacy and warmth of the acoustical approach allow the lyric of the song to stand out even more. And it’s that lyric that seems to be resonating with people.”

The song’s poignant lyrics are brought to life under the masterful direction of Trey Fanjoy (Taylor Swift, Steven Tyler, Paul McCartney, Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Loretta Lynn, Jack White), as the video shows the two country music icons journey down the road to hope. “Someday It’ll All Make Sense” was co-written by Anderson with Bobby Tomberlin and Ryan Larkins and is on Anderson’s most recent release, As Far As I Can See: The Best Of, released June 10 by MCA RecordsTo stream or download, click HERE.

Someday the picture will come into focus
And we’ll see it all plain and clear
When we come together in the place He has for us
Where the pain and the hurt disappear

Someday we’ll laugh at these roads that we’ve traveled
    I am completely convinced
That hope never dies or goes out of fashion
    Someday it’ll all make sense

As Far As I Can See: The Best Of is a collection of 16 songs and shares its name with the current exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bill Anderson: As Far As I Can See. The name comes from the opening line of one of the first songs he ever wrote, “City Lights,” the country classic that was a hit for Ray Price in 1958. In addition to such beloved songs as “City Lights,” “Still,” Po’ Folks,” The Tip Of My Fingers,” and “Sometimes,” the album features a new song with country icon Dolly Parton, “Someday It’ll All Make Sense.” The newly recorded duet is joined by Anderson and Parton’s first-ever collaboration, an incredibly rare demo of “If It Is All The Same To You,” recorded in 1964 and eventually released as a duet with Jan Howard on Anderson’s chart-topping 1969 album of the same name. As Far As I Can See: The Best Of, was released by MCA Nashville/UMe, which has been Anderson’s label home for most of his seven-decade long career. The new project is released in conjunction with the first-time digital release of seven of Anderson’s albums from the 1960s, available HERE.

  • SAM WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES DELUXE ALBUM GLASSHOUSE CHILDREN: TILTED CROWN OUT OCT. 14

Today, Nashville singer/songwriter Sam Williams announces a forthcoming deluxe version of his celebrated debut, Glasshouse Children. Featuring six new tracks, Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown comes out Oct. 14 via Mercury Nashville. Williams’ first song off the expanded edition, “Ragdoll,” written by Williams with Femke Weidema and William Benjamin Roberts, is out now.

Pre-Save Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown HERE

“’Ragdoll’ represents putting it all on the line for someone in a playful way,” says Williams of the song. “It’s a fresh sound for me and I think it’s a fun love song, ‘Let me be your ragdoll’ translates to ‘I’m yours.’”

Glasshouse Children was released last year to glowing reviews. Rolling Stone said the LP was “…an introspective meditation on hurt and healing, growth and loss, sin and redemption: it’s a reckoning with fate, freewill and the family ties that bind us. Sam’s skyscraping vocals shine through these ten lush, cinematic songs, as he delivers gut-wrenching, honest and plainspoken lyrics with raw vulnerability and deep empathy.”

Regarding Glasshouse Children: Tilted Crown, Williams says, “I felt some of the songs that didn’t make Glasshouse Children deserved their shine, while also wanting to provide new music before a second LP. Tilted Crown tells a little more story and lets the listener in just that much more.

In other news, Williams will be hitting the road in the UK with famed singer/songwriter Marty Stuart, dates below:

    August 25, 2022 – City Varieties – Leeds, UK

    August 26, 2022 – Indigo2 – London, UK

August 27, 2022 – The Long Road Festival – Leicestershire, UK

    August 28, 2022 – Old Fruitmarket – Glasgow, UK

August 30, 2022 – De La Warr Pavilion – Bexhill, UK

    August 31, 2022 – Paradiso – Amsterdam, NL

    September 2, 2022 – Slagthusets Theatre – Malmö, SE

    September 3, 2022 – Oslo Konserthus – Oslo, NO

    September 5, 2022 – Godset – Kolding, DK

    September 6, 2022 – Gimle – Roskilde, DK

    September 7, 2022 – Passionskirche, DE

The grandson of country pioneer Hank Williams and the son of outlaw legend Hank Jr., Sam Williams is the latest in a long line of American originals, but he’s not here for the sake of tradition. He sings with his own singular voice and he writes in his own singular style, fusing gut-wrenching honesty with plainspoken poetics and raw vulnerability with deep empathy. Suffering the sudden loss of his sister and mother this past year has been profoundly devastating for Williams, but the journey of grief and self-discovery he has found himself on has led to a deeper understanding of his purpose in life and inspired him to honor his legacy with truth and integrity.

  • TYLER HUBBARD RELEASES HIS NEW PROJECT, DANCIN’ IN THE COUNTRY, TOMORROW (AUGUST 19TH).

Tyler Hubbard will release a handful of specially curated songs on Friday (August 19th), titled Dancin’ In The Country, in advance of his upcoming album, which will drop January 27th, 2023, and prior to his live shows this fall on Keith Urban’s THE SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR.

“It’s an exciting season,” says Tyler. “Can’t wait to be out with Keith (Urban), and I hope everybody knows these new songs. I wanted to get some more music out before I hit the road with Keith so there was actually some songs out there that the fans can get to know, and these songs are fun and I’m super excited about them.”

He wrote the title cut, “Dancin’ In The Country,” with Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Keith Urban, and it was inspired by the nearly nightly dance parties with his family.

“’Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a really fun, uptempo country song that I’m super excited to play live,” he says. “I was fortunate enough to get to write this with Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Keith Urban, who’s just incredible as a writer and a guitarist, and he and Ross Copperman really helped capture the feel and emotion of this song sonically and also me and Jon Nite really tried to dial in the lyrics and they were also very helpful with that. But just an incredible day of songwriting and a really cool song that came from it and a song that sounds like nothing else on the project, and honestly, a song that was inspired by these nightly dance parties we’ve been having in my house after dinner. Me and the three kids and my wife we go in the playroom, turn the party lights on just about every night and have a dance party. So, this is one of those songs that always worked in the dance parties  and feels like something that’ll be really fun to take on tour and play live and hopefully get the crowd moving the way the kids do during the dance parties. So, ‘Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a fun one.”

The new collection includes his smash single, “5 Foot 9,” which is closing in on the Top 10 on the country charts.

I wanted to get some more music out before I hit the road with Keith so there was actually some songs out there that the fans can get to know, and these songs are fun and I’m super excited about them.”

Tyler Hubbard (Dancin’ In The Country) OC: …a fun one. :59
“’Dancin’ In The Country’ is just a really fun, uptempo country song that I’m super excited to play live. I was fortunate enough to get to write this with Ross Copperman, Jon Nite and Keith Urban, who’s just incredible as a writer and a guitarist, and he and Ross Copperman really helped capture the feel and emotion of this song sonically and also me and Jon Nite really tried to dial in the lyrics and they were also very helpful with that.

  • KEITH URBAN LOVES TYLER HUBBARD’S VIBE.

Keith Urban is thrilled to have Tyler Hubbard join the fall leg of his SPEED OF NOW WORLD TOUR (along with Ingrid Andress), beginning September 3rd at The Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

The two had met at awards shows and the like over the years, and Keith was a big fan of Tyler and Florida Georgia Line, however it wasn’t until the last few years they got to know each other and really solidified their friendship when they sat together to write songs earlier this year.

“He and I got to write a song together quite a few months ago called ‘Dancin’ In The Country,’” says Keith. “I love Tyler. I love FGL. I love his voice. I love their songs, but I didn’t really know Tyler very well. I hadn’t gotten to spend a lot of time with him; sort of passing at awards shows, the best you get to know anybody. So that day getting to write with him and spend quite a few hours together, I just loved his vibe. I said, ‘Listen, Ingrid Andress and I are hitting the road. We’re gonna keep going through the fall. Would you want to come out and join us in the fall? It would be kind of fun to have the three of us out there.’ It was just one of those great timings where he was able to do it and he was going to have a lot of music ready to go, so I’m thrilled. I’m thrilled he said yes.”

Keith takes his tour, sans Tyler for now, to Rogers, Arkansas Thursday night (August 18th), St. Louis, Missouri on Friday (August 19th) and Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday (August 20th).

Keith is making his way up the country charts with “Brown Eyes Baby,” while Tyler is enjoying success with his single, “5 Foot 9.” Tyler releases his Dancin’ In The Country project on Friday (August 19th).
