  • CAYLEE HAMMACK ESTABLISHES HER UNIQUE FIREBRAND WITH DEBUT ALBUM “IF IT WASN’T FOR YOU” – OUT AUGUST 14TH.

Caylee Hammack is all about the truth, the complete, whole unvarnished truth. That truth stains IF IT WASN’T FOR YOU, her major label debut, with equal doses joy, courage and enough detail to break an axle. Available on August 14 “one of Country’s most promising newcomers” (Variety) Caylee Hammack announced the upcoming and anticipated debut release today, with Hammack co-writing and co-producing every track on the 13-song collection.

Hammack offered more insight into the forthcoming release, sharing the meaning behind the record’s name as she performs a new track on the album, “Gold,” available to watch here.

“I feel like I’m airing all my dirty laundry in this album in hopes of others feeling that honesty and vulnerability and in it, finding a safe haven to be themselves,” said Hammack. “I want the nitty gritty to shine through, that’s where the stories are. Every song on this record has a true story behind it, and now I can’t wait to tell those once people listen to the album!”

Currently nominated for two ACM Awards, Hammack takes listeners on an intimate journey, from growing up in Ellaville, GA, braving a medical scare and coming out the other side of a bad love that was the catalyst for her turning down a scholarship to Belmont University and ultimately arriving in Nashville, TN. Destiny – and a big lion heart – wouldn’t let the girl who saw Loretta Lynn at the Columbus Civic Center at 13 miss her life’s purpose. You can hear it in the quavering homage in “Sister,” the wide open power-resilience of “Mean Something,” or the straight up country of “Forged In The Fire” and the piercing truths of “Small Town Hypocrite.”

Some of country music’s most potent women have also thrown in on Hammack’s debut. Whether it’s Reba’s sassy “girl, I know” vocal on “Redhead” or singer/songwriters Ashley McBryde and Tenille Townes on “Mean Something,” Hammack is setting a bar for women across the genre.

It’s not just the lyrical load, though nearly every word is true. Just as importantly, the ferocity with which Hammack and co-producer Mikey Reaves came at these songs compels. As a producer, Hammack seeks to match the emotion to the recording. It’s not enough to hear the story, she wants listeners to experience the viscerality of it. Whether it’s the swaggering Tammy Wynette come uppance “Just Like You” or vulnerability and awe that permeates “Looking For A Lighter,” these tracks pull the listener in. Hammack understands, because her feelings fall around her in songs.

IF IT WASN’T FOR YOU Official Track List:

    1. “Just Friends”
(Caylee Hammack, Aaron Raitiere, Mikey Reaves)

    2. “Redhead” (Featuring Reba McEntire)

    6. “Just Like You”
(Caylee Hammack, Blake Hubbard, Jarrod Ingram)

    12. “Gold”
    (Caylee Hammack)

    13. “New Level Of Life”
(Caylee Hammack, Aaron Raitiere, Connor Thuotte)

Currently nominated for ACM “New Female Artist Of The Year” and “Music Event Of The Year,” Caylee Hammack has been noted as an “Artist To Watch” by outlets including The Bobby Bones Show, Rolling Stone and HITS Magazine for her “voice to move mountains” (Rolling Stone). With her breakout Top 30 single “Family Tree” marking the most-added single at Country radio by a female artist in over three years, Hammack has “created a kind of country music that’s larger—and brighter—than real life”(HITS Magazine). The Capitol Nashville recording artist has previously brought her unforgettable live set to opening slots for Eric Church, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Trisha Yearwood, Brothers Osborne and some of country music’s biggest festivals. Caylee Hammack (debut album) OC: …to tell you. :29
“Working on my debut album, it is the first time I’ve actually truly had a voice of my own. It’s the first time I’ve actually got to sing my own songs. It’s the first time I get to be heard, which is so exciting and something that as an artist we yearn and dream of every night when we go to bed. Every single song on this record is a little part of me that I’ve turned into a story to tell you.”

  • ERIC CHURCH WILL RELEASE HIS NEW SINGLE, “STICK THAT IN YOUR COUNTRY SONG,” ON THURSDAY.

Praised by the Los Angeles Times as a “forthright truth-teller” in Country music, Eric Church shared earlier this year that new music was coming. Writing and recording in a rural cabin in North Carolina, the current ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee has had his eagerly-anticipated new single hinted and speculated at throughout recent performances on ACM Presents: Our Country (“Never Break Heart”), Stagecouch (“Jenny”) and in a defiant spoken-word recording, “Through My Ray Bans.” The song is set for for release this Thursday, June 25, at 6 a.m. ET ahead of its Monday, June 29 add date at Country radio, the new single is “Stick That In Your Country Song.”

In keeping with his trademark desire to put fans first, Church initially teased the release in a video sent directly to Church Choir members. “I wanted you guys to hear from me first that a new single is about to hit the world,” he shared. “It’s gonna be the tip of the spear for what’s coming after, and it’s a big spear. I believe it’s the best we’ve ever been in our career.”

“I try to put myself in the most uncomfortable situations,” Church explained at the CRS “Chasing Creativity” keynote event earlier this year. “Making it hard, and making sure no one is mailing it in. That’s always something we have to push ourselves to chase. For me, it’s very elusive. With creativity, the harder you try and stress, the more it doesn’t happen.”

Never afraid to speak his truth, Church is celebrated by Esquire as “one of the most singular working artists in any genre.” With this new single, he offers a social commentary on the state of the world and provides a rallying cry for cities from Detroit to Baltimore and people from young military veterans to school teachers, culminating in an emphatic “Stick That In Your Country Song” as each chorus hits. With a lyric video highlighting this poignant message, Church again puts the focus on fans first by offering his Church Choir an exclusive sneak peek at the video this Thursday, June 25 ahead of its wide release on Friday, June 26.

The new music follows Church’s most recent critically acclaimed project, 2018’s Desperate Man, his sixth studio album which was named one of the year’s best by American Songwriter, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Los Angeles Times, NPR, Rolling Stone, Variety and Vulture, among others, also earning a GRAMMY nod for Best Country Album (his third nomination in the category).

Eric Church (STIYCS) OC: …found itself. :56
“I’ve never had a song in my career that was a harbinger of things to come. When we recorded ‘Stick That in Your Country Song,’ we had a booming economy and a pretty great world going on. And I remember thinking when I did it, ‘Wow, I’m not sure this, I’m not sure how relevant this is for right now. I love the song. I love the sentiment, but I’m just not sure.’ And within about 30 days, the world changed, and it changed for a while, and this song just became more and more real and more and more relevant. And truth be told – 100% honesty – I had a different single picked out as the first single, and then the world kept changing and it kept bringing itself almost like a magnet back to this song and back to this moment. So, this song found itself. It wasn’t me finding it, it found itself.”

  • TRAVIS DENNING’S INSTANTANEOUS “WHERE THAT BEER’S BEEN” IS GOING TO COUNTRY RADIO TODAY.

Travis Denning is accelerating the momentum from his recent, first chart-topping single “After A Few” with the news today that his “upbeat, raucous” (American Songwriter) track “Where That Beer’s Been” is available at Country Radio today. Co-written by Denning with Rhett Akins, Chris Stevens and Jeremy Stover, the song has already garnered attention as Denning “cranks up the amps to highlight his guitar skills” (Rolling Stone) on the track that is set to be a summer anthem and “the perfect song for anyone’s beer drinking playlist” (Sounds Like Nashville). Denning’s new single is taken from his just-released debut EP BEER’S BETTER COLD that debuted in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Country Albums chart.

“Honestly, I’m still on cloud nine from having my first No. One single and now to be able to share that this is my new single is really exciting,” shared Denning. “This song has always been one of those songs that people have seemed to instantly click with. Hopefully the good vibes from this song resonate and are just in time for people to crank up this summer and have a little fun with it.”

A native of Warner Robins, Georgia, singer/songwriter Travis Denning first made waves showcasing his “future star power” (Billboard) with the release of his Top 40 debut single “David Ashley Parker From Powder Springs” and most recently his No. One “sleek anthem” (Music Row) “After A Few.” Denning kicked off 2020 as direct support on Dustin Lynch’s STAY COUNTRY TOUR and has previously opened shows for Cole Swindell, Alan Jackson, LANCO, Riley Green and his first headlining “Heartbeat Of A Small Town Tour.” With over 242 million streams worldwide, Denning has been spotlighted for his head-turning sound and was selected this past year as an Opry NextStage recipient and CMA KixStart Artist, as he makes his mark within the industry. Inspired at a young age, Denning developed a love for country, pop, rock and heavy metal and started playing local bars from the age of 16, as he built a strong following from his distinctive songs and raucous guitar solos. A prolific writer with an unquestionable stage presence, Denning moved to Nashville and secured outside cuts by Jason Aldean, Justin Moore, Michael Ray, and Chase Rice. Denning’s newest songwriting cut includes Michael Ray’s Top 20 single “Her World Or Mine.” For more information, visit travisdenning.com.
