• KEITH URBAN WILL HEADLINE 2019 COORS LIGHT NHL STADIUM SERIES ENTERTAINMENT.

2018 CMA Entertainer of the Year and four-time GRAMMY Award winner Keith Urban will headline the entertainment for the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ outdoor game between the Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins at Lincoln Financial Field®, home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, the National Hockey League (NHL) announced today. The performance in the first intermission presented by Ticketmaster® will be televised as part of the NHL Stadium Series broadcast, which begins at 8 p.m. ET on NBC in the U.S. and on SN1, SN360 and TVAS2 in Canada.

Urban released Graffiti U last year in conjunction with his “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018,” which played more than 65 dates in the U.S. and Canada. The tour’s Australia leg kicked off at the end of January and will be followed by his first European tour in nearly a decade.

Graffiti U, which upon its debut on April 27, 2018 hit #1 on charts in the United States, Canada and Australia, is Urban’s ninth studio recording and follows one of the most successful releases of his career, 2016’s RIPCORD.

Graffiti U’s latest single “Never Comin Down,” follows his 24th #1 “Coming Home” (featuring Julia Michaels), which marked the first time a country artist has used a sample of a country song (Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried”).

Urban has had an album simultaneously atop the all-genre charts in the U.S., Canada and Australia twice and is the only male Country artist to have achieved the mark even once. He now stands at #8 on Billboard’s All-Time Country Airplay Chart as the artist with the most consecutive top 10 songs on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart (38) – a streak that started in August of 2000.

Besides four Grammy Awards, Urban has won 13 Country Music Association Awards, 11 Academy of Country Music Awards, four People’s Choice Awards and four American Music Awards. He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Urban’s reputation as a premier songwriter, vocalist, musician and virtuoso guitarist has afforded him the opportunity to collaborate with the likes of The Rolling Stones, John Mayer, Steven Tyler, Miranda Lambert, John Mellencamp, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw and Taylor Swift, Vince Gill and Eric Church.

A limited number of tickets to the 2019 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ are available for purchase through Ticketmaster via its website and the Ticketmaster app. Ticketmaster is the Official Fan Travel and Hospitality Partner for the NHL and NHL Events while continuing to serve as the League’s Official Primary and Secondary Ticketing Partner. • CARRIE UNDERWOOD’S “THE CHAMPION” FEATURING LUDACRIS CERTIFIED PLATINUM BY RIAA ON ANNIVERSARY OF 2018 SUPER BOWL DEBUT.

One year after garnering worldwide attention opening NBC’s Super Bowl LII, Carrie Underwood’s hit event anthem, “The Champion,” featuring Ludacris, has been certified Platinum by the RIAA.  Underwood co-wrote “The Champion” with fellow songwriters Brett James, Chris DeStefano, and Christopher Bridges PKA Ludacris, who Underwood asked to collaborate on the event song produced by Jim Jonsin. NBC Sports also incorporated “The Champion” into its coverage of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games.

Globally, “The Champion” reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 10 countries including the U.S. where it held the top spot throughout its release week then rose back to the top of the chart for four consecutive days after the Super Bowl LII opening. The song also debuted Top 5 on the all-genre Top 200 Digital Songs chart and reached No. 7 on the Spotify US Viral 50 Chart with over 151 million streams to date.  The poignant and powerful montage video, directed by Jimmy Lynch, won CMT’s 2018 Video Music Award for Female Video of the Year.  Fans around the world continue to share their own champion-inspired photos and videos across social media using #TheChampion, a key driver to the song’s organic success:

Additionally, “The Champion” is featured as a bonus track on Underwood’s critically-acclaimed, Gold-certified sixth studio album, Cry Pretty. Released in September 2018, Underwood’s first studio album on Capitol Records Nashville, debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts and was the biggest all-genre debut by a female in 2018.

Co-produced by Underwood and writer/producer David Garcia, that debut earned Underwood a place in music history as the only woman to land four country albums at the top of the all-genre Billboard 200 chart, as well as the first female country act to top the Billboard Artist 100 Chart. The album was the best-selling Country album debut of 2018, as well as the biggest Country album debut since 2015 and the biggest female Country album debut since 2012. Cry Pretty’s debut week also marked the most first week streams by any female in Country music. It is Underwood’s seventh consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on the Top Country Albums chart, representing all of her first seven albums including her Greatest Hits: Decade #1.  Underwood, who is nominated for Country Artist of the Year at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Awards, was also Apple Music’s most-streamed Country female artist for 2018.  Cry Pretty debuted as the fifth most-streamed Country album in genre history and had the highest solo female debut for all music in 2018.  It recently hit #1 again on the Country Album Charts in January, 2019.

The second single from the album, “Love Wins,” continues to climb the charts.

The seven-time Grammy winner and Pollstar’s three-time top female country touring artist will kick off a new arena tour, The Cry Pretty Tour 360, this Spring.  Sponsored by CALIA, the tour will kick off on May 1 in Greensboro, NC, and will play 55 arenas across the U.S. and Canada and will be promoted by AEG Presents.  She will be joined on tour by special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June.

Carrie Underwood (The Champion) OC: …for as well. :40
“We were asked to come up with something special for the Super Bowl. We knew we wanted the open to be as grand as the Super Bowl is, so I was really excited that NBC and Sunday Night Football kind of gave us control to be creative and go in and see what we could do. We spent a couple of days – we being me, Brett James and Chris DeStefano who I’ve written with both of those guys quite a bit – we went in and just gave it our all trying to figure out what would best set up something as amazing as the Super Bowl. After we turned it in, they loved it so much [that] we were told, ‘The Olympics are gonna want this!’ So, that was just more incredible news because it certainly fits everything that the Super Bowl stands for as well.”

  • KACEY MUSGRAVES IS LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS YEAR’S GRAMMY AWARDS.

Kacey Musgraves goes into Sunday night’s GRAMMY Awards with four nominations, including overall Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Golden Hour. Her song “Butterflies” picks up a nomination for Best Country Solo Performance, while “Space Cowboy” earns a nod for Best Country Song.

Kacey is proud her album received nominations because she says it means “everything” to her. “It’s a very personal album. I’d say probably more personal than all of my other ones at this point,” she says. “So, to be nominated this year for this many awards. I mean, any award, it’s really special to me, especially when you take a step back and look at the people I’m nominated alongside; lots of records that have sold a lot more than mine. If you’re looking at radio play, people that have been on the charts for a long time and have gotten a lot of air time. It just makes me feel like to be in a category with people and works of art like that, it makes me feel like all of our hard work is paying off and that these days people just want to connect to songs that they relate to and that they think is good, and it really doesn’t matter what genre it comes from or where they might hear it, if it connects, it connects.”

Kacey will perform a couple of times on Sunday night’s awards show, including during a tribute to the MusiCares Person of the Year, Dolly Parton, alongside Katy Perry, Little Big Town and Maren Morris. She’s really looking forward to watching and participating in the show.

“TV performances are a whole nother ballgame. They can be nerve-wracking, but they can also be very fun, and ultimately, I just try to find my center within all of that, find my calm. I’m getting to perform songs that I really, truly love and feel comfortable singing. So, I feel like I don’t really have anything to feel nervous about. Mostly I’m just excited, and of course there’s the glam and the wardrobe and the fact that my husband [Ruston Kelly] will get to be there sitting with me and hanging out with me. So, I’m just really going to try to find the fun of it all and not get too worried about the outcome and just ultimately just be myself and have a good time.”

In addition to attending the GRAMMY Awards, Kacey is headlining her own Oh, What a World Tour, which heads to Phoenix February 13th, followed by a two-night stand in Los Angeles February 14th and 15th.

  • KACEY MUSGRAVES DATES ADDED ON SOLD-OUT HEADLINING OH, WHAT A WORLD: TOUR AND PERFORMING AT THE 61st ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS ON FEBRUARY 10th.

Due to overwhelming demand, multiple GRAMMY award-winning singer/songwriter Kacey Musgraves has added 17 new North American shows to her sold-out Oh, What a World: Tour. Following her previously announced tour dates, Kacey will hit the summer festival circuit, becoming the first-ever female country artist to play Coachella, and will then launch the second North American leg of her tour on August 24th at Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, CA. These new dates, produced by Live Nation, will include returns to major cities such as Phoenix, Philadelphia, Boston, and Toronto, and will make stops in Santa Fe, Charlotte, and New Orleans, among others (see below for full list of tour dates). Artist pre-sale for these new tour dates begins today at 12pm ET, with tickets going on sale to the general public beginning February 8th at 10am local time at http://www.kaceymusgraves.com/tour.

Over the past year, Kacey has toured extensively in support of Golden Hour to massive critical reception, with NPR aptly summarizing, “Kacey Musgraves is magnetic – there are no two ways about it.” One month into the sold-out North American leg of her Oh, What a World: Tour, Kacey has dazzled press and fans alike. Billboard declared, “leaving the packed theatre would have anyone convinced: Musgraves isn’t just breaking country’s rules, but re-writing them,” Rolling Stone observed, “with each successive record, culminating in the velvety and confident Golden Hour, Musgraves has expanded both her sonics and her fan base,” and Variety enthused, “considering her gradual but inexorable rise over the past five years; considering the accessibility, intelligence, humor, positivity and wide appeal of her songs; considering the praise heaped upon her by critics (not to mention her two GRAMMY wins and the four nominations for her latest album, “Golden Hour“); and considering, most of all, the rapturous response she receives from her fans, it’s hard to imagine that within the next couple of years Kacey Musgraves won’t be one of the biggest stars in music.”

On February 10th, Kacey will perform at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards in celebration of her four nominations for Album of the Year and Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance for “Butterflies,” and Best Country Song for “Space Cowboy.”

Golden Hour has been named Apple Music’s Global Album of the Year, and has been hailed as of the best albums of 2018 by everyone from NPR, Time, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, Esquire, Complex, Consequence of Sound, USA Today, Noisey, People, and Vulture, among others. Stereogum proclaims, “again and again, the album makes the incredible feel as natural as breathing,” and The Associated Press assures, “Golden Hour will put a smile on your face, and live inside of your heart.”
