“The connection that was developed with the fans from the Holdin’ My Own Tour was such a deep connection. • LUKE BRYAN’S ‘MOST PEOPLE ARE GOOD’ HITS THE AIRWAVES.

Luke Bryan has just released his new single, “Most People are Good,” the follow-up to his recent No. 1 “Light It Up.” The song, , is  from his chart0topping album, What Makes You Country.

The song, written by David Frazier, Ed Hill and Josh Kear, was in consideration for the first single, but because of the nature of the song, Luke wanted to wait to release it. “‘Most People are Good’ was really, really, really in consideration for the first single, but we had just come off of ‘Fast,’ so you kinda got two heavy songs in a row, two songs that are very reflective. But when I heard ‘Most People are Good’ for the first time, I really believed that was going to be a really, really important song in my career. I think it’s a song that the songwriters wrote perfectly from A to Z; not one wasted lyric in that thing. Anytime you can find a song that does that, I think it’s something special.”

Luke will launch his What Makes You Country Tour will launch February 16th in Springfield, Missouri.

  • EASTON CORBIN FEELS GOOD ABOUT HIS LATEST SONG, ‘A GIRL LIKE YOU.’

Easton Corbin is sitting at No. 10 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase country chart with his latest song, “A Girl Like You.” The tune, which was written by hit tunesmiths Ashley Gorley, Jesse Frasure and Rhett Akins, has a feel and a sound that the singer says “makes you feel good.”

“I love ‘A Girl Like You,’ because it has so much energy and it’s so young and it kind of has that bounce on it. It just really makes you feel good when you hear it. I know when I first heard it, it made me really feel good,” says Easton. “Also, what drew me to this song was, it’s a little different than anything I’ve done. I’m all about going up there and trying new things, as long as I can always kinda keep my traditional country there, but also the current sound. I think that’s the key here is to keep your foot in traditional, which is what I do, but also have that element of fresh and new.”

Easton, who will have a new album out later this year, is hitting the road beginning January 12th in Carmel, Indiana.
