• BROTHERS OSBORNE RECEIVE A GRAMMY NOMINATION AND THEIR DEBUT ALBUM, ‘PAWN SHOP,’ IS CERTIFIED GOLD.

EMI Nashville’s Brothers Osborne received their third GRAMMY nomination in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance category this morning for their Top 10 rowdy hit “It Ain’t My Fault.” This nomination joins their previously nominated performances for their No.1 Platinum smash hit “Stay A Little Longer” as well as the nostalgic “21 Summer”. All three tracks are featured on their critically-acclaimed debut album Pawn Shop which was recently certified Gold by the RIAA.

Earlier this month, Brothers Osborne performed “It Ain’t My Fault” at the 51st Annual CMA Awards (view HERE) where they maintained their reign as “Vocal Duo of the Year” for the second year in a row. They also took home the “Music Video of the Year” Award for “It Ain’t My Fault”. Following the broadcast, “It Ain’t My Fault” rose nearly 2200% and Pawn Shop increased over 1800% in overall sales.

2017 has been an incredible year for the real-life siblings. Highlights include winning two trophies at both the 52nd ACM Awards and 51st CMA Awards, playing ACL Fest in Austin, TX as well as Nissan Stadium during CMA Fest in Nashville and touring with Chris Stapleton on the “All American Road Show”.

“This year has been a huge dream come true in so many ways,” says John Osborne. “And to top it off with a GRAMMY nomination leaves us speechless.” TJ adds, “we’re beyond grateful for all of the love and support we’ve gotten.”

The Maryland natives are currently in the studio working on their sophomore album, again partnering with producer Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town). Next year, the duo is set to launch their first headlining UK tour in May 2018.  Tickets and additional information can be found at www.brothersosborne.com

Brothers Osborne (Pawn Shop album) OC: …vulnerable. :38
JOHN: “It’s very revealing, because you put your heart and soul into it, you put your whole life into it. I mean, we’re talking about songs we’ve been writing for years, and all the times that we’ve played in clubs and bars and the rehearsals and the arguments and all that have led to this one moment, and you put that on a record, and it’s revealing. I don’t think a lot of people realize how hard it is, because you’re kind of opening yourself up to everybody. It’s just naturally as a human being, you don’t want anyone to really know who you really are. You want to hide that. It’s just a very natural human response, but when you’re putting out a record, it’s all about, ‘This is who I am,’ and you’re vulnerable.”

  • CB30 MAKES NATIONAL TELEVISION DEBUT ON ABC’S CMA COUNTRY CHRISTMAS SPECIAL.

CB30 made their national television debut last night with their performance of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)” on ABC’s CMA Country Christmas special. Sharing the stage with artists such as Luke Bryan, Little Big Town, Alan Jackson, Kelsea Ballerini, and many more, the young country duo performed their rendition of the classic holiday song for a sold-out audience at The Grand Ole Opry. Comprised of real-life brothers Christian and Brody Clementi, the performance follows the recent release of their corresponding music video for “The Christmas Song.” The video is not one to be missed this holiday season, as it features Christian and Brody singing around a bonfire on a cold Autumn night, and includes family photographs, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and plenty of warm memories. View CB30’s brand new video HERE.

“We feel so blessed to have performed on the CMA Country Christmas special,” say Christian and Brody Clementi. “We’ve grown up listening to so many of the other amazing artists and getting a chance to share the Opry stage with them while performing our version of ‘The Christmas Song’ was a dream come true.”

Celebrating many firsts this November, CB30 also released their debut single “Cool If You Wanna,” which was released digitally through Radio Disney Country earlier this month. Co-written by Jim McCormick, Christian Clementi, and father Jay Clementi, the song highlights Christian and Brody’s brilliant vocal harmonies that blend together perfectly in this fresh pop-country track. Fans can listen to “Cool If You Wanna” on major digital platforms HERE. The up-and-coming duo is currently in the studio writing and recording for their debut album set to release in 2018.

  • LAUREN ALAINA MAKES HER FIRST DONATION FROM HER ‘MY KINDA PEOPLE’ CHARITY TO FRIENDS LIFE COMMUNITY.

With the launch of her “My Kinda People” charity, country star Lauren Alaina made her first donation to Friends Life Community, a Nashville nonprofit that serves more than 40 adults with special needs and their families, providing the additional support adults with disabilities require to achieve a fulfilling and quality life.

“What the people at Friends Life Community are doing is really amazing and something I feel really passionately about,” say Lauren. “I am honored to make my first donation from my foundation to them.”

On Sept. 19, Friends Life Community hosted its 9th Annual Songwriters’ Night at City Winery in Nashville with Lauren as the headlining performer. Proceeds from the event, including Lauren’s donation, directly fund programs offered at Friends Life Community which create opportunities for teenagers and adults with disabilities to develop socially, grow personally, and enjoy community as they experience life together.

Lauren’s donation to Friends Life Community stems from her new charitable initiative, “My Kinda People,” a philanthropic effort by the recording artist to generate awareness and support for those who need it most.

“I have the most amazing and unique job, and I have been privileged to meet so many people all over the world and hear their stories.  Some of those stories are uplifting and some of those stories are painful, but all of the stories have touched me and left a lasting impression,” explains Lauren. “‘My Kinda People’ is a way we can all come together and donate to those causes that mean something to you and to me. We can each help in our own way.”

On this #GivingTuesday, Lauren is asking that donations be made to support Friends Life Community through www.FriendsLife.org/LaurenAlaina.

  • KEITH URBAN FELT STRONGLY ABOUT RECORDING HIS LATEST SONG, ‘FEMALE.’

Keith Urban just released his new song, “Female,” which was written by Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman and Nicolle Galyon. Keith discovered the song just last month, and since he connected with the song personally as a husband, as a son and especially as a father to two daughters, he felt the need to record it quickly.

“As a father of two daughters – six and nine – as a husband, as a son, it just resonated with me as just a beautiful, poignant prayer in a lot of ways too; a divinely timed piece that really needed to be put into the world,” says Keith. “When I heard the song the day after it was written, it really moved me very strongly. My wife was listening at the same time, and she had the same feeling about the song. I just said I feel very strongly I want to record this song. Luckily, I was in the middle of making my record and we just went in the studio in my house and recorded it.”

Keith is currently writing and recording a new album for 2018 and gearing up for his show on New Year’s Eve in Nashville.

“So, the song was written by Ross Copperman, Nicolle Galyon and Shane McAnally on October 10 of 2017 and I heard it the very next day. They had done a demo of the song. I got sent the song and remember sitting in the kitchen listening to it, and Shane McAnally sang the demo, so it was already a guy’s voice that I heard singing the song, and it just hit me. As a father of two daughters – six and nine – as a husband, as a son, it just resonated with me as just a beautiful, poignant prayer in a lot of ways too; a divinely timed piece that really needed to be put into the world.”

  • KIP MOORE RELEASES ‘LAST SHOT’ TO RADIO.

Kip Moore just released his new single, “Last Shot,” which he co-wrote with the legendary David Lee Murphy and Dan Couch (who co-wrote Kip’s first No. 1 “Somethin’ Bout a Truck”). “Last Shot,” the follow-up to the chart-topping hit “More Girls Like You,” turned into an old-school country love song.

“When I started singing that melody, I was just humming and different stuff, and [David Lee Murphy] said, ‘If you were my last breath I’d just want to hold you,’ and I thought that was just such a brilliant line,” says Kip. “So, then it was just about, ‘Alright, this is a love song, this is an old school country love song right here.’ So that’s what we went with.”

The song is from his new album, Slowheart. The making of the collection came about after a process with Kip taking a lot of time off to spend time at home in Tifton, Georgia, as well as Iceland and Costa Rica, which was all captured in a documentary, Journey to Slowheart, which was shot and put together by his friend PJ Brown.

Audio / Kip Moore explains how “Last Shot” turned out to be an “old school country love song.”

Kip Moore (Last Shot) SOUNDCUE (:48 OC: . . . we went with.)
“’Last Shot’ was written with David Lee Murphy and Dan Couch. David Lee, the king of quirky phrasing . . . Dan actually came in with that idea and we just kind of danced around that song for probably three hours before we ever could tackle how to get it, where we wanted to go and you get a little bit of that old school Aerosmith vibe from the lyrics to the melodic sense even to the production of it, and, yeah, I mean the minute David Lee said . . . When I started singing that melody, I was just humming and different stuff, and he said, ‘If you were my last breath I’d just want to hold you,’ and I thought that was just such a brilliant line, so then it was just about, ‘Alright, this is a love song, this is an old school country love song right here,’ so that’s what we went with.”

  • KIP MOORE RELEASES NEW SONG ‘LAST SHOT’ TO RADIO.

Kip Moore is following up his recent No. One smash hit “More Girls Like You,” with his “smoldering” (Rolling Stone) new single ”Last Shot.”  The metaphor-driven and reflective ballad, co-written by Moore with Dan Couch and David Lee Murphy, is one of the most added songs at country radio this week and the second single taken from his third studio album “SLOWHEART,” praised by critics across the country as he “blends the passion and connection for which he’s known with a new self-awareness that will speak to both commercial and underground audiences” (USA Today.)
As Moore continues to garner acclaim for SLOWHEART, with Billboard noting the record “shines a light on his more sensitive side,” he is also sharing more insight into the process of making the album with his vulnerable documentary THE JOURNEY TO SLOWHEART, out today.  Available to watch via VEVO now and on Qello beginning tomorrow, the documentary was created by Moore with his best friend and video director, PJ Brown.  The refreshingly raw piece follows Moore as he returns to his hometown of Tifton, GA, as he reflects on his childhood and the importance of his family in shaping the artist he is today.  Fans will also get a glimpse into the recording process behind Moore’s latest release with behind-the-scenes footage in the studio, as well as a look into his travels earlier this year that took him to Iceland, Costa Rica and more.
SLOWHEART follows the acclaim that surrounded Moore’s sophomore album WILD ONES heralded as “an impressively singular release from Music Row” by The Guardian. Moore first turned heads with his debut album UP ALL NIGHT which was recently certified PLATINUM by the RIAA and spawned three No. One hit singles including GOLD certified “Beer Money,” PLATINUM certified “Hey Pretty Girl,” and the DOUBLE PLATINUM breakout hit “Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck. Moore, who has trail-blazed his own path with his reputation-making live show is currently undertaking his headlining PLEAD THE FIFTH TOUR with special guest Drake White. With no signs of slowing down this year, he will also hit the road with Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen for a limited run this December as part of a special solo acoustic stint dubbed TALL TALES AND THE TRUTH TOUR, kicking off in Denver, CO on 12/7.
