• LUKE GRIMES RELEASES NEW TRACK, “BURN,” FROM EP PAIN PILLS OR PEWS OUT OCTOBER 20th.

Mercury Nashville / Range Music recording artist Luke Grimes today released the song, “Burn,” from his forthcoming eight-song EP, Pain Pills Or Pews, which comes out October 20th.  Written by Grimes, Randy Montana (Luke Combs, Parker McCollum) and Josh Thompson (Morgan Wallen, Blake Shelton), the song was produced by Dave Cobb.

“‘Burn’ came from a simple classic rock style melody and the idea of running headfirst into a heartbreak, almost asking for it,” said Grimes. “The song always had a bit of Tom Petty vibe as he’s always been a big influence for me. Getting in the room with Randy Montana and Josh Thompson showed me what seasoned songwriters can do with a simple idea; I love how this track turned out.”

    About Luke Grimes:
Grimes’ debut track, “No Horse To Ride,” debuted inside the Top 10 of the Country Songs sales chart at No. 7. In its second week of release, “No Horse To Ride” racked up 95K Shazams, placing it No. 2 on the Shazam Country chart, No. 2 on the Shazam Top 200 USA chart and No. 37 on the Shazam Global chart, a rarity for a country artist. Spotify placed the song on the cover of its Country Hits 2023 playlist, with the song in the No. 1 position, and the song has been on eight Spotify Viral Charts.

Known for his role as Kayce Dutton on the hit television series, “Yellowstone,” Grimes has been making music for years and is prepping his first major label project. When not on set, Grimes can be found spinning his favorite country albums and songwriting at home in Montana or in Nashville writing with some of Music Row’s elite including Jonathan Singleton, Tony Lane, Randy Montana, Brent Cobb, Jamey Johnson, Love Junkies, Josh Osborne, Jon Randall, and Jessie Alexander.

Grimes grew up playing music in the church as the son of a Pentecostal pastor. His father also laid the foundation for the music he loves, introducing him to the works of Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings. The Ohio native is now finding his own voice and style as an artist, inspired by the likes of Colter Wall, Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, and the late Townes Van Zandt. Grimes continues to tour this summer at fairs and festivals across the country.

GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson was rendered speechless as her Capitol Christian Music Group team surprised her with a celebration to announce that her debut single “My Jesus” is now certified PLATINUM by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The “deeply personal breakout ballad” (Billboard) has continued to fuel Wilson’s unstoppable career as it notched over one million units sold and counting, with numerous awards and accolades to its name.

Wilson’s momentous week extended to her debut performance at a Country award show during Monday night’s ACM Honors. She graced the historic Ryman stage alongside Jordan Davis to perform the double-Platinum, ACM Award-nominated No. 1 song, “Buy Dirt.”  Watch the performance here.

“What a moment for the Lord, for my sweet brother Jacob, for my family, for the writers and producers, for Capitol Christian and for ALL who have walked this unexpected adventure,” shares Wilson. “To see what God has done out of the deepest pain is such a precious gift that He has given to all of us. GOD NEVER wastes our sorrows. He uses them in ways we cannot dream of. I can’t wait to hug my brother again and talk about all the things God has done. Jacob must be beaming in heaven right now sitting with ‘My Jesus.'”

Called to her musical mission in the wake of tragedy, Wilson’s “My Jesus” – an empowering anthem of personal conviction wrapped in uplifting, roots-pop energy – served as her warm introduction to fans in early 2021. After going viral upon release, the single’s music video reached 7M views in its first week and 23M to date. The track hit No.1 on Billboard‘s Christian Airplay chart, making her the first debut female Christian artist in chart history to reach No.1, and was nominated for a Billboard Music Award for Top Christian Song. The single also went on to be named ASCAP’s 2022 Christian Music Awards Song of the Year, reaching Spotify’s Viral 50, the Shazam Top 200 and Rolling Stone’s Top 25 Trending charts. To date, the song has accumulated 360M streams and 180M TikTok views in addition to notching PLATINUM status.

The follow-up to her introductory track was her now GRAMMY-nominated, 15-song debut album, My Jesus, which was released on April 22, 2022. As the biggest debut album by a CCMG artist in over 15 years, the “soul-touching record” (CMT) reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Christian & Gospel Albums and the Top 200 Christian and Gospel charts, topping her total global streams to over 722M.

Wilson’s star continues to rise, she’ll embark on her first-ever headlining My Jesus Tour with special guest Josh Baldwin kicking off next Thursday. The nearly sold-out 20-stop tour begins on Sept. 28 in Houston, Texas and spans across the country with stops in major cities including Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Indianapolis and Chicago.

Earlier this summer, Wilson released “Seventh of June,” a deeply personal and heartfelt tribute to her beloved late brother Jacob. She also secured yet another Dove Award nomination for her 2022 Christmas project, The Manger, recognized in the category of Christmas/Special Event Album of the Year at the upcoming 54th Annual GMA Dove Awards, taking place at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena on Tuesday, Oct. 17 and airs on Friday, Oct. 20 (8:00 pm ET and 10:00 pm ET) on TBN and the TBN app. For dates and more information, visit www.annewilsonofficial.com and keep up with her on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

“I love the song ‘Denim & Rhinestones,’ first and foremost, but I thought there was just something so cool about the title of it that is very me, that I wanted to name my album Denim & Rhinestones. When you think of Denim & Rhinestones, you think of the staples in your closet, the things that are reliable, the things that are comfortable, that you always feel good in them. Then you think of rhinestones and it’s all the things that sparkle on top, and I feel like that kind of just sums up me. It sums up this album. It’s a little vintage. It’s a little shiny, and it just makes you feel good. So, I felt like that was the perfect title for this album.”

“Out of the ones that we have cut so far, those eight just felt, it felt complete as a thing on its own, and it touched on a lot of the bases of the kinds of things that I wanted to say on this first outing. And there was enough sort of different tempos and different feels, and I think, it just felt kind of complete. We just felt like there are some more songs, and we’ll figure those out later, but this felt like the right thing to sort of come out with now.”

  • DARIUS RUCKER CHANNELS LAW & ORDER DETECTIVE ELLIOT STABLER FOR HIS LATEST VIDEO.

Darius Rucker recently released the official music video for “Fires Don’t Start Themselves,” and the cinematic video casts him as a detective hot on the trail of a young couple whose passionate love is setting their town ablaze, both literally and figuratively.

Darius says he channeled his inner Stabler for the role, referencing Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) from Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime fame.

“When they told me I wasn’t going to do a performance, I was so happy, because that’s so the cliché (for) the video. You have other people acting and then you do the performance,” says Darius. “But when they told me I was going to play a detective, I put on my inner Stabler, because I’m such a Law and Order and CSI fan, so I put on my inner Stabler and went out and did it. And the girl I worked with, she was so fun; she was so funny. And you know that donut scene, when I see it, there’s no words and it still makes me laugh every time I see it.”

The song is featured on his highly anticipated new album, Carolyn’s Boy, set for release on October 6th and named for his late mother as an “homage to the greatest woman I’ve ever known.”

Darius, who is part of ESPN’s College Game Day opening theme with Lainey Wilson and The Cadillac Three, is set to get inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame in Nashville on October 4th.

“I love acting. I love… It’s a lot of fun. And the actors you get to act with are so giving and make it so easy for you and fun and everything. But that video, when they told me I wasn’t going to do any performance, I was so happy, because that’s so the cliché (for) the video. You have other people acting and then you do the performance. But when they told me I was going to play a detective, I put on my inner Stabler, because I’m such a Law and Order and CSI fan, so I put on my inner Stabler and went out and did it. And the girl I worked with, she was so fun; she was so funny. And you know that donut scene, when I see it, there’s no words and it still makes me laugh every time I see it. But yeah, that was a lot of fun and I’d love to do a lot more of that, but, you know, we’ll see if it comes. If it comes, I’ll take it. If not, I’ll keep doing this music thing. I’ll be happy about that.”
