Chris Stapleton has been announced as one of the headliners at this year’s Pilgrimage Festival in Franklin, Tennessee. The Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will return for its eighth year on September 24th and 25th at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm. Artists, including Brandi Carlile, The Avett Brothers, Jon Batiste, Elle King, Marty Stuart, Brittney Spencer and more, are scheduled to perform across five stages during the two-day festival.
Keith Urban joined wife Nicole Kidman at the L.A. premiere of The Northman at the TCL Chinese Theatre earlier this week. Nicole, who appears in the film, will also appear on ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday (April 22nd).
Brothers Osborne‘s TJ Osborne will serve as a Grand Marshal of this year’s Nashville Pride Parade. The parade kicks of June 25th at 10am on Broadway and 8th Ave. Other Grand Marshals include Leslie Jordan, Greg Cason and Alberta Hardison.
Brothers Osborne were among those recognized at the seventh annual AIMP (Association of Independent Music Publishers) Awards in Nashville earlier this week. Also honored were HARDY, Lee Brice, Tenille Arts and Morgan Wallen. Jordan Davis, Kassi Ashton, Jimmie Allen, Callista Clark, Lee Brice, Matt Stell and HARDY performed during the event.

You know, my mom, she would dress us in these ridiculous, pastel-colored, gosh, good Lord, I’m sorry for saying this, but the worst part about Easter for me is some of the photos I have of what my mom dressed us in. It was hideous! But yeah, that was it growing up. We would have our Easter Egg Hunt, and I think for me early on, and probably like a lot of kids, Easter was another Sunday where it was a very mini, mini Christmas. We’d get some candy, every once in a while, we’d get a present, something that we wanted, we’d go to church, and everybody looked great. It was like the day to wear the new dress or the guys had these crazy ties on or something like that. And it really wasn’t until, I think, I was able to kinda hit my high school years and kind of start to strengthen my faith that I realized how special that holiday was.”
Maddie & Tae (Easter) OC: (Maddie) …hope and joy. :51 TAE: “Easters growing up for the Dye fam, my side, is when I was younger, we’d go to my grandparents a lot and we’d do the whole Easter egg hunt and we’d go to church. My parents would always dress us up in these really cute springy outfits. But, yeah, Easter with family is always so much fun.” MADDIE: “Our Easter was very similar. My grandma would always get us this white chocolate cross with little flowers on it. It was so delicious. And me and my sister typically had matching dresses, which annoyed me at the time, but looking back it was precious. But Easter for us, Tae and I love us some Jesus! That is our favorite dude ever! (TAE: “That’s what Easter means.”) And so Easter is all about praising Jesus for his sacrifice so that we can know God and Him and just live a life full of purpose and hope and joy.”
Chris Stapleton won three GRAMMY Awards including Best Country Album for Starting Over, Best Country Song for “Cold” and Best Country Solo Performance for “You Should Probably Leave” — both songs from Starting Over. During his acceptance speech for Best Country Album, Chris spoke about the sacrifices everyone in the room had made chasing their musical career. In fact, his twins’ fourth birthday was on Sunday (April 3rd). “Hopefully we’re all doing it so it would make the world a better place and the people that live in it will love each other and have a good time together and come together.”
Backstage talking to the media, an emotional Carrie says this is probably one of the most important award wins she’s had in her entire career. “I feel like it’s more important because I feel like this is one of the most important bodies of work I’ve ever been a part of, been able to do. This is what one thing that I’ve wanted to do literally my whole career. I’ve wanted to make this album and I got to, and this just means the world to me.”

“I’ve never really looked at records necessarily as having a theme. I’ve never made a record in that kind of a constraint necessarily. And there are a lot of great records that have this theme and this overlying thread that kind of runs through them. Maybe the thread for me is just I’m singing. I wrote a bulk of the songs. It’s the same guys playing all the songs. If there’s a theme – if there’s a theme it’s hopefully there’s a theme of truth somewhere in it. And what I mean by that is hopefully we’re conveying in the songs some experiences that feel real and hopefully people can find themselves in those songs and in the album. And for me if I’m looking for a theme it’s that kind of, I don’t know, that thing that binds us all together as humans.”

Brothers Osborne, who are up for two awards at Sunday night’s (April 3rd) GRAMMY Awards (Best Country Album for Skeletons and Best Country Duo/Group), chatted with journalist Anthony Mason on CBS This Morning ahead of the show this weekend about their nominations and being able to perform.
During COVID, the GRAMMY Awards were postponed twice and then moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas this year.
The 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah, will air live on Sunday (April 3rd) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas beginning at 8pm ET/7pm CT on CBS.
Brothers Osborne performed their song “Headstone” on NBC’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (March 22nd). “Headstone” is from the deluxe edition of their Grammy-nominated album, Skeletons.
The duo are taking their We’re Not For Everyone tour to the northeast this week, playing shows in Port Chester, NY (March 23rd), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (March 24th), Rochester, New York (March 25th) and Hershey, Pennsylvania (March 26th).

There were lots of big wins at Monday night’s ACM Awards, and some incredible and moving performances.
Chris Stapleton won his third ACM Male Artist of the Year, which is his 13th ACM Award overall. He also performed a fiery, moving and pulse-inducing performance of “Watch You Burn,” which he wrote with Mike Henderson after the devastating mass shooting at the Route 91 festival in 2017. The performance was introduced by Jason Aldean, who was on stage performing at the festival when the shooting took place.
Carrie Underwood picked up an ACM Award for Single of the Year with Jason Aldean for “If I Didn’t Love You,” which they turned in a spectacular performance of during the show. This makes her 16th overall ACM win.
Brothers Osborne’s win for Duo of the Year marks their third win in the category, and sixth win overall. John and TJ performed twice on the show. First, they played the title track from their latest album, Skeletons, complete with light up outfits. They also closed the show performing a cool version of “These Boots Were Made For Walking” with Brittney Spencer.
Parker McCollum was named New Male Artist of the Year, his first-ever ACM Award. He also performed his No. 1 “Pretty Heart.”
Eric Church performed a 16-song medley on the show, which featured Ashley McBryde and included songs such as “How Bout You,” “Guys Like Me,” “Love Your Love The Most,” “Smoke A Little Smoke,” “Drink In My Hand,” “Springsteen,” “Talladega,” “Give Me Back My Hometown,” “Mr. Misunderstood,” “Round Here Buzz,” “Record Year,” “Desperate Man,” “Some Of It,” “Hell Of A View,” and his latest single “Heart On Fire.”
Luke Bryan performed his latest single, “Up,” before joining Jordan Davis on the two-week No. 1 “Buy Dirt.”
