• DIERKS BENTLEY IS THE HOST WITH THE MOST AT SEVEN PEAKS.

Dierks Bentley, who just scored his 21st No. 1 single with “Beers On Me,” is excited to be back after two years with his Seven Peaks Festival. The three-day musical event will take place this Labor Day Weekend (September 2nd – September 4th) at the new location of Villa Grove, Colorado.

Dierks has a packed schedule during the festival, but that’s just the way he likes it. Not only does he headline one night, but he’s also hosting the entire event, as well. “I almost forget that I’m playing the festival,” he says. “You know, I’m so busy running around and try for every band to just let them know, ‘Hey, I’m the guy that’s putting this on,’ and I’m not just backstage hanging on my bus. I go to see, I only missed like one or two performances in 2019, that’s just because of a meet and greet I was doing or something. So, I go watch everybody. You know, I get up on stage and I sing with a lot of people. I’m out in the campgrounds a lot, you know, and then all of a sudden, it’s like, Oh, Sunday night, like, I actually have to play a show to watch this year, like hosting this. I’m also like, I got to go up and do the whole thing, kind of switch gears.”

The lineup includes Morgan Wallen, with additional main stage performances by Boy Named Banjo, Ashley Cooke, Jordan Davis, Jackson Dean, Travis Denning, HARDY,  Kendell Marvel, Ashley McBryde, Old Crow Medicine Show, Caitlyn Smith, Rapidgrass, Alana Springsteen and Lainey Wilson. Friday night of the festival will kick off with a special stacked lineup of 90’s acts including Hot Country Knights, Tracy Lawrence, The Frontmen and Pam Tillis, while AYDAMN will be deejaying throughout the weekend. Passes are now on sale at sevenpeaksfestival.com.

I’m also like, I got to go up and do the whole thing, kind of switch gears. So, yeah, a lot of it’s just hosting, but then yeah, our set list, it’s going to be similar to what we do on the rest of the tour because there’s that much time that goes in that particular setlist. I’m not really trying to change up the set list a lot night after night. I just went like a month of working to getting exactly right set list with little sections that make it different if I choose to add a new song or do something specific to that town. But we really try to put on the best show and then present that to different audiences every night…So, it’s going to be mostly that. But yeah, obviously guests are gonna get up to sing with us, and that’s a different deal than usual where there are so many friends sticking around.”

  • DIERKS BENTLEY TOASTS TO 21st CAREER NO. ONE “BEERS ON ME” TAKING THE TOP SPOT AT COUNTRY RADIO THIS WEEK

Dierks Bentley takes “Beers On Me” to the top of Mediabase/Country Aircheck Singles chart and Billboard’s Country Airplay chart this week, notching his 21st career No. One. Joining forces and voices with rising country hotshots BRELAND and HARDY, Bentley sings a “summertime ode to cold beers and good friends, with a few shots of reality thrown in for good measure” (People) ahead of launching his BEERS ON ME TOUR with special guests Ashley McBryde and Travis Denning, kicking off June 3rd in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was recently announced that his SEVEN PEAKS MUSIC FESTIVAL will once again return this Labor Day Weekend, September 2-4, in a new scenic setting of San Luis Valley in Villa Grove, CO, as passes will go on sale to the general public this Friday (4/22 at 10:00A MT) at sevenpeaksfestival.com.

“From start to finish this song was a true collaboration, and to do it with BRELAND and HARDY really means a lot,” Bentley said. “They both bring something that’s so needed in Country music right now and can’t thank the fans and Country radio enough for embracing this one. I’m lucky to have gotten a chance to work with these two and it’s cool to be able to celebrate BRELAND’s first number one song – as an artist and songwriter – with him.”

“I’ve been so fortunate over the years to have many No. 1s, I mean a lot of No. 1s, and they all have some sort of special significance whether it was the songwriters I wrote it with or the idea where it came from, but certainly this 21st No. 1 with BRELAND and Hardy would be pretty special for me because of the collaboration,” adds Dierks (see audio below). “I love Hardy. He’s obviously had a lot of success, a lot of No. 1s as a singer as well as a songwriter. But for BRELAND, I believe this would be his very first No. 1 as an artist and as a songwriter. So, to be part of that history is so special for me and just personally as a friend of BRELAND’s – no one’s more deserving than him to have the success that he’s having. So, this is going to be a great moment to share together on stage accepting the awards that come with a No. 1 record and just can’t wait to see that big smile on his face.”

Bentley will take his “all-night sing-along party” (Fresno Bee) to 31-cities during his BEERS ON ME TOUR including the “can’t miss” (Esquire) event of the summer, SEVEN PEAKS MUSIC FESTIVAL, where he will headline along with Morgan Wallen. Additional main stage performances include Boy Named Banjo, Ashley Cooke, Jordan Davis, Jackson Dean, Travis Denning, HARDY,  Kendell Marvel, Ashley McBryde, Old Crow Medicine Show, Caitlyn Smith, Rapidgrass, Alana Springsteen and Lainey Wilson.

Dierks Bentley continues to be a dominant voice for the genre with over 6.4 billion streams. Reaching a new creative high while “making music designed to challenge” (New York Times), Bentley co-wrote 10 of 13 tracks on his latest full-length release THE MOUNTAIN, which earned him the highest debut sales of his career and became his seventh chart-topping release. Last year, Bentley surprised fans with his LIVE FROM TELLURIDE collection that was touted as “a gift that Country music fans didn’t know they needed” (The Tennesseean). Bentley celebrates his 16th year anniversary as a member of the Grand Ole Opry and will be inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame next month. He also has created professional endeavors outside of the music with his Flag & Anthem lifestyle collection Desert Son, along with his “Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row” franchise hosting four locations. You know, my mom, she would dress us in these ridiculous, pastel-colored, gosh, good Lord, I’m sorry for saying this, but the worst part about Easter for me is some of the photos I have of what my mom dressed us in. It was hideous! But yeah, that was it growing up. We would have our Easter Egg Hunt, and I think for me early on, and probably like a lot of kids, Easter was another Sunday where it was a very mini, mini Christmas. We’d get some candy, every once in a while, we’d get a present, something that we wanted, we’d go to church, and everybody looked great. It was like the day to wear the new dress or the guys had these crazy ties on or something like that. And it really wasn’t until, I think, I was able to kinda hit my high school years and kind of start to strengthen my faith that I realized how special that holiday was.”

My parents would always dress us up in these really cute springy outfits. But, yeah, Easter with family is always so much fun.” MADDIE: “Our Easter was very similar. My grandma would always get us this white chocolate cross with little flowers on it. It was so delicious. And me and my sister typically had matching dresses, which annoyed me at the time, but looking back it was precious. But Easter for us, Tae and I love us some Jesus! That is our favorite dude ever! Dierks Bentley (7Peaks 2022) OC: …off the ground. 1:32

“Location is really important for this festival, right? It’s a Colorado based festival and it needs to feel like Colorado. It’d be a lot easier to put it on in Denver at the football or soccer stadiums there, where other bands do, but I wanted, you know, a lot of fans coming from all over the country that had never even been to Colorado. So, we want to make sure it feels like Colorado. So it has to be a little further away from Denver, and Buena Vista wass a great town. We obviously had to cancel in 2020, and we had some differences of agreement about whether the show could have gone on in ‘21 or not. We felt like it could have, but they’re a smaller community and had some, um, just taking a more cautious approach. So, I had a friend that has a place we’re going to be in Villa Grove, he’s been talking to us the last few years trying to get us, take a look at his site, and we used last year as an opportunity to look at it. It’s, you know, another 40 minutes down the road, the same road that the last festival was on the same location, same just 40 minutes down the same highway. And it’s a great spot and there’s no more issues with, you know, help with the folks, the town councils. So, because he owns the spot, and Villa Grove’s really excited to have us in town and easy to fly into Colorado. It’s a great location. And then we just had a massive line-up and to have a Morgan Wallen and Hardy and Lainey Wilson and Travis Denning and Jordan Davis and bluegrass bands like the infamous String Dusters, who I love, Grammy award winning bluegrass band, and Rapid Grass. And of course, of the 90’s, folks, it just feels like it’s a, you know, it’s our best shot at giving this festival the best chance we can have to really get off the ground.”

  • DIERKS BENTLEY’S NEWSPAPER BREAK IN THE STUDIO LED TO BRELAND’S INVOLVEMENT ON “BEERS ON ME.”

Dierks Bentley is poised to take over the top spot on the country charts with his latest song, “Beers On Me,” which features Hardy and BRELAND.

Dierks says he couldn’t be more thrilled with the collaboration, even though he found out about BRELAND during a break from recording in the studio. “I wrote ‘Beers On Me’ with Hardy and some other people, and I just asked Hardy if he’d take a verse on it. It seemed like a natural song for a duet,” he says. “But the cool thing is I was in the studio working on the third verse, and I took a break, and I was reading an article in the paper about a guy named BRELAND. And it just hit me maybe I should invite this guy in to sing the third verse. And so, I got his number and called him, and he came in the next day. He rewrote the verse entirely – totally different verse – made the song a hundred times better and then sang on it with the most beautiful voice I’ve ever heard. So, it’s just been a really awesome collaboration, totally organic, just kind of a meant-to-be thing, and so excited seeing this song do as well as it has on the radio.”

The Arizona native, who recently announced his Seven Peaks Festival for this year, will launch the summer leg of his BEERS ON ME TOUR June 3rd in Wilmington, North Carolina, with special guests Ashley McBryde and Travis Denning.

Luke and Caroline will help raise $50 million dollars via a capital campaign for the reno. Caroline Bryan, who serves as co-chair of the campaign, said her family settled on moving to Franklin when they realized how close their potential new home would be to Williamson Medical Center. “This is where our children were born. This is where their doctors are. This is where my doctors are,” Caroline Bryan tells The Tennessean. “Anything from a routine visit to the ER visits, everybody is just fantastic, and watching this getting ready to expand is so needed. It’s time. It’s exciting.” Luke added, “We get to have a voice to make sure this is the best health care you could ever dream of,” Luke Bryan said.

“Anybody that knows me knows how important Seven Peaks has been to me and luckily I get to say will continue to be for me, because although COVID shut us out for two years and we had some difficulties working with the little city we were working with. It’s got new life going into 2022. Some huge acts, the biggest in the business, are gonna be there this year with us, this Labor Day Weekend in August and September. I’m so excited for Seven Peaks, I guess you could call it 2.0. You know we had a successful launch those first few years – in ’18 and ’19 – but obviously the pandemic messed up a lot of things. But the new location is killer. [It’s] right down the street from the old spot. The lineup is incredible, and that location! Getting a chance to spend your Labor Day weekend in the mountains of Colorado where it’s 70 (degrees) and sunny, just beautiful weather, and the vibe is so good. I’m just so thankful, not only as someone that’s involved with the festival and its success, but as a human being. There’s no place I’d rather be for my Labor Day Weekend than hanging out with my friends backstage, onstage, out there in the festival grounds with all these great fans than there. I’m so excited for the launch, THE Re-launch of Seven Peaks and so excited to see how the fans respond to it.”
