• JON PARDI SET TO TOUR THE WORLD.

Jon Pardi heads to Calgary this weekend before heading overseas to continue his Mr. Saturday Night World Tour. Beginning August 25th in Belfast, he’ll make stops in Lutterworth, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, London, Amsterdam, Hamburg and Oslo before wrapping in Stockholm, Sweden on September 7th. The California native is looking forward to getting over there and putting on a good show for the fans.

“I’m just looking forward to seeing the fans out there playing some venues that we haven’t played before and kinda going back to more of a smaller setting when we’ve been doing big shows out here in the States, so it’ll definitely be different, but I think it’ll be very memorable,” says Jon. “I look forward to building that next step in my U.K presence over there in the music industry and being a live performer. I know it’s pretty much sold-out, and that’s exciting. I know all the interviews I’ve done with the people interviewing me, they just talk about how everybody’s so excited and it’s a big deal and so I want to make sure they get a great show.”

Jon is poised to enter the top of the country charts with his latest single, “Your Heart Or Mine.”

Jon Pardi (world tour) OC: …great show. :48
“Oh man! I’m just looking forward to seeing the fans out there playing some venues that we haven’t played before and kinda going back to more of a smaller setting when we’ve been doing big shows out here in the States, so it’ll definitely be different, but I think it’ll be very memorable. When we went to Australia, it was a lot. We did a lot of traveling. It was really fun when we look back at it, and they’re already asking me to come back to Australia. So, I look forward to building that next step in my U.K presence over there in the music industry and being a live performer. I know it’s pretty much sold-out, and that’s exciting. I know all the interviews I’ve done with the people interviewing me, they just talk about how everybody’s so excited and it’s a big deal and so I want to make sure they get a great show.”

  • PARTY WITH PARDI AT THE PARDI BATCH SPIRITS BBQ SHOWDOWN PRESENTED BY PIT BOSS COMPETITION.

Texas Motor Speedway and country singer/songwriter Jon Pardi’s Pardi Batch Spirits have joined forces to bring the intense competition and smoky burnouts the speedway is known for to the GEICO Infield Campground for the Pardi Batch BBQ Showdown presented by Pit Boss Grills during the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Playoffs weekend.

In addition to title sponsorship of the Pardi Batch BBQ Showdown presented by Pit Boss Grills, Pardi Batch Spirits has also been named the Official Whiskey of Texas Motor Speedway.

The Pardi Batch BBQ Showdown presented by Pit Boss Grills will be sanctioned by the International Barbeque Cookers Association. Contestants will compete in three categories – brisket, pork spare ribs and half chicken – with cooking beginning Sept. 22 and judging taking place Sept. 23 at noon (chicken), 1:30 p.m. (spare ribs) and 3 p.m. (brisket). A $5,000 total payout will go to the top 10 finishers in each BBQ category. The top-five awards will be announced and presented during the pre-race activities for the Sept. 24 NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400. The Pardi Batch BBQ Showdown presented by Pit Boss Grills is sanctioned by International Barbeque Cookers Association contest rules apply and full contest rules are available at www.ibcabbq.org/organization-documents.

“Jon Pardi and Pardi Batch Spirits Bourbon & Whiskey are committed to Texas and we are proud to partner with Texas Motor Speedway” said Heath Lollar, National Sales Director of Pardi Batch Spirits.

Jon is closing in on the top of the country charts with his latest single, “Your Heart Or Mine,” and is set to be inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry on October 24th.

  • JON PARDI HAS SET A DATE TO BECOME THE NEXT MEMBER OF THE GRAND OLE OPRY.

Jon Pardi is set to become the next member of the famed institution, the Grand Ole Opry, October 24th.

    https://twitter.com/JonPardi/status/1686391442141528066

He was surprised during his performance in Indio, California at this year’s Stagecoach Festival in April, when his friend and Emmy-winning famed restaurateur, author Guy Fieri directed him and the attention of his thousands of cheering fans to a video where Opry member and Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson appeared officially inviting the California native to become the newest member of the Opry.

“When I first saw Guy (Fieri) on stage, I was like, ‘What the hell is Guy doing on stage and how’d he get a microphone?’ But Guy is a good friend and then he was so excited. He knew about it for a long time and like we’re buddies, he never said anything, he was like, ‘This is so hard I didn’t tell nobody,’ but it was a great moment, and it was cool that it was at Stagecoach,” says Jon. “It’s one of my favorite festivals in country music, and it’s the biggest in California. Kind of tying in home state, country music, Nashville, and The Grand Ole Opry together I thought was really special and something that nobody has really seen, so it made the Opry have a stronger connection with the crowd and the West Coast. And they knew exactly what the Grand Ole Opry was, and they went crazy, and it was pretty cool. Then I saw Alan on screen, and then I kind of knew it was going down, and it was cool, and Alan has always been good to me since the 2015 tour. He’s always been very complimentary. He’ll send me random gifts, he sent me his book and whiskey, just little things he would send to me, and it was cool to have.”

Jon has the distinct honor of becoming the first native Californian to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Jon, who is currently making his way to the top of the country charts with his latest single, “Your Heart Or Mine,” heads out on his headlining Mr. Saturday Night World Tour this month with dates coming up in the U.S., Canada and several across Europe including stops in the U.K., Netherlands, Germany, Norway and Sweden before heading back stateside for his Opry induction on October 24th.

  • JON PARDI CELEBRATES TWO OF HIS MOST RECENT NO. 1 SONGS.

Jon Pardi celebrated not one, but two, of his recent chart-toppers at a party in his honor this week at local Nashville watering hole, Winners Bar & Grill. “Heartache Medication,” which was written by Jon, Natalie Hemby and Barry Dean, went to No. 1 in February of 2020, so he wasn’t really able to celebrate its success until three years later following the global pandemic. He also helped “Last Night Lonely” songwriters – Dylan Marlowe, Jimi Bell and Joe Fox – celebrate their very first No. 1 (which just so happened to be their first single they’d written, as well).

“’Heartache Medication’ is literally like probably one of our biggest songs we play live. The crowd just like, once they hear the fiddle go off, you kick it off and then the crowd goes wild. It’s really cool,” he told media prior to the party. “‘Last Night Lonely’ is a big one too. ‘Heartache Medication’ is getting over someone, moving on, having a good time and getting out and doing the things you’ve got to do to move on. ‘Last Night Lonely’ is almost like a continuation of ‘Heartache Medication.’ He’s moved on and found a girl he wants to settle down with. But for me, a good song, whether I write it or not, has to move people. It’s got to make people tap their feet and it’s got to be powerful, and you’ve got to be remembered, and I feel like a lot of these songs will be remembered for a long time.”

Jon should soon be celebrating another No. 1 song. His latest smash, “Your Heart Or Mine,” which was written by his producer Bart Butler, along with Justin Ebach and John Pierce, is making its way to the top of the country charts.

Audio / Jon Pardi talks about the two songs -- "Heartache Medication" and "Last Night Lonely" -- that he celebrated this week.

Carrie Underwood (Entertainer nomination) OC: …that category. :47
“It is, I mean, obviously such an honor to be nominated in Entertainer of the Year. Obviously, that’s such a tough category to be in, ‘cause there’s just so, I don’t even want to call it competition, there’s just so many hard working artists out there that are just you know pouring themselves and their time and their energy and their love and their artistry into what they do. You know, obviously just to even be in the final category is just absolutely amazing and hopefully, above all, we can all just remember that it’s a celebration of a great year in country music and in our careers as artists, so we’ll just see what happens, but definitely excited to be in that category.”

Audio / JORDAN DAVIS TALKS ABOUT HIS ACM NOMINATION FOR MALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR.

    Download

Jordan Davis (ACM 2023 Male nod) OC: …win for me. :49
“I haven’t been that shocked in a long time. Definitely the most shocked I’ve been since I started doing music. It was definitely shocked to see that I was in that category. I knew I made it through to the last round, but, honestly, I was, y’all see the other nominees in there, some heavy hitters. So, to hear my name first, it was pure shock. But now too, in 2019, I was up for New Artist, so I think it goes to show that I’ve got a great team and great fans, and two, we made some great music that is connecting with people. The awards are amazing, but to be nominated with those guys is a huge win for me.”

Jon Pardi (ACM nomination 2023) OC: …always great. :20
“’Mr. Saturday Night’ being nominated for Album of the Year is an accomplishment, and a lot of hard work went into it and a lot of hard work goes out touring it. It’s just a great record. We picked out songs, wrote songs, went to Key West to record vocals which is cool. Just to get nominated by songwriters and publishers and the industry is always great.”

“Hey everybody! I’m Tanya, and I’m Michael, and we’re The War and Treaty. (Michael) This morning, April 13th, we woke up and to be able to see Bobby Bones do the nominations for the ACMS ad get to the category of Duo of the Year, and we were just callin’ ‘em out. We were like, ‘Brooks & Dunn,’ ‘Dan + Shay,’ and we were like ‘Brothers Osborne,’ Brothers Osborne, yes! Dan + Shay, Dan + Shay, and we was like, ‘Yes.’ We were like, ‘Maddie & Tae,’ we was like ‘Yes,’ and then time slowed down. They were like The War and Treaty. And honestly, we burst into tears, we screamed, we yelled, we high-fived, we hugged our manager, Christina. In our minds then traveled back in time and forward. We traveled to Charly Pride, DeFord Bailey and Ray Charles, and we were like, ‘I hope they’re seeing this wherever they are, and I hope they’re dancing and high-fiving as well. Thank you, ACMs.” TANYA: “Thank you so much to the ACMs and everybody who’s nominated and all of our peers in country music.”

“Omigosh! It’s Priscilla Block. I am so honored and just literally freaking out that I am nominated for New Female at the ACM Awards. This is my second year being nominated, and it’s such an honor. Gosh, I think about five years ago when I would’ve dreamed of being here, so I’m really excited, and it’s gonna be in Texas, so I’m ready. I’m ready to party, baby!”

  • JON PARDI INVITED TO BECOME MEMBER OF THE GRAND OLE OPRY.

Jon Pardi was surprised last night during his performance in Indio, California at country music’s premier festival Stagecoach, when his friend and Emmy-winning famed restaurateur, author Guy Fieri directed him and the attention of his thousands of cheering fans to a video where Opry member and Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson appeared officially inviting the California native to become the newest member of the Opry. Click HERE to watch Alan’s invitation.

“That mic stand represents the future of country music as well as its incredible history,” Dan Rogers, Opry executive producer, told the crowd after he sat the Opry mic stand down in front of a surprised Pardi. “This night will go down in history, too, both because Jon is the first artist invited to join the Opry on this stage and because he’s the first native Californian to get that call. What a great night!”

“I moved to Nashville chasing a dream at 22 years old and now I’m here. I love you guys and I love country music. Thank you, everybody. This is an amazing night. I’ll never forget it,” said an emotional Pardi from stage before later in the night noting “I always wondered how this might happen if it was going to. I never imagined anything this great. That was incredible.”

“There is no better representation of Northern California than you, man,” said Fieri backstage after the moment.

Rogers added backstage, “For nearly a decade now, Jon Pardi has been adding something great to the show every single time he plays the Opry. For me personally, I’ll never forget the big sounds he brought to the Opry stage during the pandemic and the way he connected with audiences around the world via our livestream even when he was playing to an empty Opry House. I have no doubt there are good times ahead for all of us with Jon as a future Opry member.”

Coming just a week after receiving his third consecutive ACM Album of the Year nomination (for being both artist and producer for Mr. Saturday Night), the invitation to become an Opry member was made even more special because it happened in his native home state of  California in front of his home state fans. Pardi will become the first native Californian to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. An official induction date will be announced soon.

Jon is currently making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Your Heart Or Mine.”

Since first hitting the country landscape, Jon Pardi has long since separated himself from the pack, carving a lane that was all his own by producing, writing, and singing songs he created from the melodies up, and earning praise for it. “Jon Pardi cut a path through modern country’s embrace of pop, hip-hop and EDM” (The New York Times) with “an emboldened work… a distilling of his sound into a more potent form that draws both vitality and assurance from his anything-but-sterile relationship to his tradition’s modern era” (NPR). With his “state-of-the-art blend of traditional instrumentation and progressive grooves that point to country’s future” (Rolling Stone), Pardi is “a leader among a growing number of artists bringing back fiddle, steel and twang” (People). “Even when he’s singing sad songs, he wants people to have a good time” (Associated Press).

Pardi’s current single off Mr. Saturday Night, “Your Heart Or Mine,” is Top 30 and climbing on country radio airplay charts. Featured by NPR, Paste, Billboard, The Tennessean and more, Pardi’s album Mr. Saturday Night proved Pardi has “blazed his own trail over the past decade” (Billboard), with Taste of Country noting, his “refusal to chase sets Mr. Saturday Night apart” and Nash News raving, Mr. Saturday Night “proves he might be the most successful at combining the old-school sound with today’s need for hooks.” Mr. Saturday Night reunited the producing team of Bart Butler, Ryan Gore and Pardi- the same team behind the boards of his critically acclaimed album, Heartache Medication. Pardi’s CMA and ACM Album of the Year nominated project. Heartache Medication debuted among the top albums on Billboard’s Country Albums chart and was named in 2019 Rolling Stone’s “Best Album of the Year” and by the Los Angeles Times as one of the (Top 10) “Best Albums of the Year.” Heartache Medication followed his breakthrough Platinum-selling album, California Sunrise, which featured the multi-platinum, chart-topping hits “Dirt On My Boots,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache On The Dance Floor” and “Night Shift.”

Named a “hero in the making” (Variety), Pardi has earned five No. 1s on country radio and is noted for his “long-lasting mark on the genre” (MusicRow) and his impressive ability to carve out his own path creating “the kind of country music multiple generations came to know, and love can still wok on a mass scale” (Variety). Filled with fiddle, twang and steel guitar, Pardi continues to “apply new ideas to country’s old sounds” (Los Angeles Times) and “bring authenticity back into Country music” (People).
