• PARKER MCCOLLUM KEEPS THE HITS COMING SCORING HIS FOURTH CONSECUTIVE #1 WITH “BURN IT DOWN.”

Parker McCollum earned his fourth consecutive No. 1 single at Country radio with his explosive hit song, “Burn It Down.” The song tops both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts this week. Written by McCollum, Hillary Lindsey, Lori McKenna and Liz Rose, the smoldering track off his most recent album, Never Enough, follows the album’s first single, the heartbreakingly vulnerable “Handle On You,” which also climbed the charts to take the #1 spot.

On Sunday, fans got to see Parker take the stage at the 2024 CMT Music Awards to perform “Burn It Down” with special guest and vocal powerhouse, Brittney Spencer. The two ignited the main stage for one of the most unforgettable performances of the evening.

Recently, Parker announced 13 additional tour stops on his current Burn It Down Tour – taking him to the West Coast and some of the biggest venues in the country.

  • PARKER McCOLLUM HEATS UP THE CHARTS WITH HIS FOURTH NO. 1 HIT.

Parker McCollum scores his fourth No. 1 with “Burn It Down” on the country charts this week.

“‘Burn It Down’ — Liz Rose and Hilary Lindsey and Lori McKenna — better known as the Love Junkies — were coming over to my house one day and Liz got there first and she walked into the kitchen and she said, ‘What are we going to write today?’ And I said ‘Liz, I’m pretty burnt out on songwriting and the record is done so it could be anything today.’ And she said, ‘Well, don’t say that. Usually this is when you write the best songs.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t think you understand how tired I am. I really don’t want to write,’” says Parker. “But we did anyways and about ten minutes later, I sort of just out of nowhere sang the chorus for ‘Burn It Down.’ It just fell out. And everybody in the room was like ‘Dang, that’s bad ass.’ And so, I would say it’s probably the strongest song on the record and to have those three girls on a cut with me is pretty special. They’ve written some big songs together and they’ve written a lot of really good songs together. And I don’t think I never would have written this song if it wasn’t for them.”

Catch Parker performing “Burn It Down” with special guest Brittney Spencer on Sunday night’s (April 7th) CMT Music Awards on CBS and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+.

The father-to-be will be back on his Burn It Down Tour on Thursday (April 11th) in New Orleans, followed by dates in Lake Charles, Louisiana on Friday (April 12th) and Waco, Texas on Saturday (April 13th).

“We would always have the Easter Egg Hunt before church. You know, my mom, she would dress us in these ridiculous, pastel-colored, gosh, good Lord, I’m sorry for saying this, but the worst part about Easter for me is some of the photos I have of what my mom dressed us in. It was hideous! But yeah, that was it growing up. We would have our Easter Egg Hunt, and I think for me early on, and probably like a lot of kids, Easter was another Sunday where it was a very mini, mini Christmas. We’d get some candy, every once in a while, we’d get a present, something that we wanted, we’d go to church, and everybody looked great. It was like the day to wear the new dress or the guys had these crazy ties on or something like that. And it really wasn’t until, I think, I was able to kinda hit my high school years and kind of start to strengthen my faith that I realized how special that holiday was.”

Maddie & Tae (Easter) OC: (Maddie) …hope and joy. :51
TAE: “Easters growing up for the Dye fam, my side, is  when I was younger, we’d go to my grandparents a lot and we’d do the whole Easter egg hunt and we’d go to church. My parents would always dress us up in these really cute springy outfits. But, yeah, Easter with family is always so much fun.” MADDIE: “Our Easter was very similar. My grandma would always get us this white chocolate cross with little flowers on it. It was so delicious. And me and my sister typically had matching dresses, which annoyed me at the time, but looking back it was precious. But Easter for us, Tae and I love us some Jesus! That is our favorite dude ever! (TAE: “That’s what Easter means.”) And so Easter is all about praising Jesus for his sacrifice so that we can know God and Him and just live a life full of purpose and hope and joy.”

  • PARKER McCOLLUM CALLED IT!

Parker McCollum may have had a little premotion about possibly becoming a father sooner rather than later. Last year when he released his latest album, Never Enough, he talked about how he and his wife Hallie Ray were thinking about expanding their family.

“It’s knocking on my door real loud,” says Parker. “And sometimes I think about it, and at some points during the day it will cross my mind that that’s close and it’s going to be – I like look in the back seat and I’m like there’s going to be a damn car seat back there before – if you’re not careful.  And I’ll think about it, and I’ll be like man, that’s – hell yeah. I have a great dad. Great grandparents.  Great uncles. Like I look forward to – I have nieces and nephews now – I look forward to that of my own for sure.  We wouldn’t be surprised if that happened soon.”

The couple announced that they were expecting their first child — a boy — early last month.

Parker is currently climbing into the Top 5 on the country charts with his latest single, “Burn It Down.”

Parker McCollum (becoming a dad) OC: …happened soon. :30
“It’s knocking on my door real loud.  And sometimes I think about it, and at some points during the day it will cross my mind that that’s close and it’s going to be – I like look in the back seat and I’m like there’s going to be a damn car seat back there before – if you’re not careful.
