Parker McCollum‘s star continues to rise with awards, chart-topping singles, sold-out shows and getting ready to headline the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the second time. Last year was an incredible year, but according to the Texas native it was also a year of growth.

“Well, I grew as a performer certainly, I felt like I improved in that area,” says Parker. “Professionally, just learning how to run a business and still be creative and be an artist and having that nice balance is something that I feel like I’m kind of learning as I go all the time, but always getting better and hopefully showing improvement.”

Parker, who is closing in on Top 10 on the country charts with his latest single, “Handle On You,” kicks off his tour February 2nd in Columbus, Ohio.

Parker McCollum proved to be one of Country music’s biggest breakout stars of 2022. His music and electrifying stage shows captured fans across the U.S. and led him to two #1 singles, an RIAA Platinum certification, an ACM Award, a debut at RODEOHOUSTON, performance at Austin City Limits and much more. Kicking off 2023, McCollum has been rolling out tour dates for the year – eager to get back on the road playing for the fans that keep him going. The Texas native is currently making his way up the country charts with his latest single, “Handle On You.”

The lineup for this year’s RodeoHouston has been announced. The 20-day event kicks off with Parker McCollum February 28th, following his sold-out debut last year. RodeoHouston will also include headliners such as Jon Pardi (March 8th), Chris Stapleton (March 16th) with Luke Bryan closing it out March 19th. Other performers include Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Jason Aldean, The Chainsmokers, New Kids on the Block, Machine Gun Kelly and Cody Johnson, among others.

Individual RODEOHOUSTON tickets will go on sale to the public Thursday, January 12th. For the first time, they will be sold in two waves, 10am and 2pm, at rodeohouston.com.

After having a life-changing year, Parker McCollum is rounding out 2022 with his highest streaming debut track to-date. His latest release, “Stoned,” has so far received 2.4 million on-demand streams domestically, 2.7 million total global streams. The solemnly reflective track, written by McCollum, Brett James, and Mark Holman, explores the universal emotions of loneliness, uncertainty and misunderstanding, and how we often find ways to self-medicate our feelings.

Coming into 2022, McCollum had already been named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Rolling Stone, Billboard, Sounds Like Nashville, MusicRow and The Boot.
