  • DAVID NAIL IS BEGINNING TO HIT THE AIRWAVES WITH HIS LATEST SINGLE, ‘GOOD AT TONIGHT.’

David Nail has released his latest single, “Good at Tonight,” from his new album, Fighter. The track was written by TJ and John Osborne (aka Brothers Osborne), as well as Barry Dean and Troy Verges, and David didn’t realize the guys were actually pitching him the song. When he did, he enlisted Brothers Osborne to sing background vocals.

“‘Good at Tonight’ was a song that I heard the demo and I was actually kind of mad because I just assumed that they were…sending me the song because we’d been on the road with Brothers Osborne and they were just saying, ‘Hey! Here’s another Brothers Osborne song,’” says David. “When I realized that they were pitching me the song, I immediately texted John [Osborne] and was like, ‘Hey — are you sure you’re not gonna record this song, ‘cause I don’t want to…fall in love with it and then record it and then you decide six months from now that you love it and you want to record it, and then I have to take it off the record, ‘cause you win.’ And they were like, ‘Naw man. If you love it, man, do it.’ And so I said, ‘I’m gonna do it, but there’s one stipulation — you have to sing on it.’”

David will launch his Fighter Tour September 7th in Madison, Wisconsin.

Audio / David Nail says at first he didn’t realize Brothers Osborne were actually pitching him the song “Good at Tonight,” and when he did, he told John and TJ that if he did record it, they would have to sing on it.”

  • BROTHERS OSBORNE ANNOUNCED THEIR FIRST HEADLINING TOUR, KICKING OFF NEXT MONTH.

    Bro O Tour 2016

Brothers Osborne announces today its first headlining THE DIRT RICH TOUR launching this fall.  The GRAMMY-nominated duo kicks off the tour in Rosemont, IL on September 22nd and will hit almost 30 additional markets including New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Vancouver. Fans can purchase tickets beginning this Friday, August 12 at dirtrichtour.brothersosborne.com.

Known for their “distinctive sound combining classic country and hints of soul” (The Washington Post), Brothers Osborne has earned high praise for their dynamic live show while previously touring with the likes of Eric Church, Little Big Town and Miranda Lambert. Rolling Stone exclaims “The Bros come guns blazing, a guaranteed show-stopper” while The Boston Globe commends the band for “winning listeners over with its spirited live performances.” AXS adds, “the pair acted like old pros as they effortlessly showcased their solid harmonies and impressive instrumentation.”

On THE DIRT RICH TOUR, fans can expect to hear favorites from Brothers Osborne’s highly-acclaimed debut album Pawn Shop including the Gold-Certified, GRAMMY-nominated No.1 hit “Stay A Little Longer,” their current Top 30 single “21 Summer,” “Rum” and more.

“‘Dirt Rich’ is a song on the record that makes a statement about who we are and where we come from,” says John. “We felt it was an appropriate title for the tour because it really defines who we are.””
TJ adds, “We have been fortunate to be a part of some really great tours but this one is especially exciting because we’ve been building towards this for a while. We can’t wait to perform more of our material in an intimate setting with the fans out there. It’s going to be a blast.”

Brothers Osborne’s rural blue-collar upbringing infiltrates the music they make as a twang-and-crunch duo that blends equal parts country and rock into one of the freshest, most identifiable sounds to come out of Nashville in recent years. As The Village Voice states, “the duo marries their grittier sound with a more accessible, catchy melody that has taken off with country radio and critics alike.”

Joining the Maryland natives for select dates is new group LANco, comprised of five best friends Brandon Lancaster, Tripp Howell, Eric Steedly, Jared Hampton and Chandler Baldwin. LANco recently impacted country radio with their debut single “Love Live Tonight” which is featured on their four-song, self-titled EP produced by Jay Joyce (Eric Church, Little Big Town). Just wrapping up an extensive festival appearance schedule this spring and summer, the five man band has previously toured with Dwight Yoakam, The Band Perry, Eli Young Band and more.

In addition, British-born singer/songwriter Lucie Silvas will join Brothers Osborne for the remaining tour dates. Silvas has sold over a million albums in Europe and toured with acts such as Little Big Town, Elton John, Chris Stapleton, James Bay, Macy Gray and Jamiroquai. She recently released the critically- acclaimed album, Letters to Ghosts, on her own imprint label through Caroline Records. Lucie co-wrote and co-produced the entire album.

  • BROTHERS OSBORNE RELEASE THE VIDEO FOR ’21 SUMMER.’

Brothers Osborne debut their music video for the breezy “21 Summer” with VEVO today, watch HERE. John and TJ Osborne partnered with up-and-coming director Justin Clough for the video that captures a unique perspective on young love and consequential heartbreak.

“‘21 Summer’ is one of those songs that a lot of people can relate to,” says TJ. “There are moments where so many things change in your life and I think one of the biggest is getting your heart broken for the first time.” “The concept of the video is just one of a million stories,” notes John. “Everyone’s ’21 Summer’ is going to be a little different but with this video we wanted to do something distinctive by taking a very particular story and applying it to the song’s lyrics.”

The compelling piece documents a young boy who falls in love with a girl against his best interests. Through the boy’s journey, the video focuses on the free-spirited and untamed feelings that come with new love as well as the consequent struggles. As the main character begins to discover more about the girl and her background, he ultimately finds himself in despair highlighting the reflective and nostalgic qualities of the song.

The singer/songwriter siblings co-wrote “21 Summer” which is featured on their debut album Pawn Shop and continues to climb the country airplay charts as well as gain praise from industry critics. Billboard notes the tune is “fuzzy, ethereal and mysterious, a sound so hauntingly unique” while Rolling Stone claims, “it sounds like something only the Maryland natives could cook up.” Wide Open Country adds, “the duo manages to keep the instrumentation fresh in a way that few modern country songs can.”

Brothers Osborne recently made their Grand Ole Opry Debut and are currently on the road as part of Miranda Lambert’s Keeper Of The Flame Tour. Upcoming stops include Los Angeles, CA and Irvine, CA.

Brothers Osborne (21 Summer video) 1 OC: (TJ) …and honest. :53
JOHN: “We wanted to take a very particular story that’s quite left of center and apply it to the lyrics of ’21 Summer.’ And the fact that a young boy ends up with a girl that’s far more experienced than him and leads a darker life than him and they have something that actually shows him how to grow up and be a man, you know, and what it’s like to deal with heartache and deal with frustration and something seemingly catastrophic then turns into a very important part of your life.” TJ: “We wanted a storyline that was equally, when you saw it, I think you can have your own relatable experience that would I think probably initially, but then it really was thinking of how do we make a storyline that when you watch it, it really does make you really feel that heartbreak, not only for you, but for that person in the video experiencing that same type of thing. So, [we’re] just really trying to evoke that emotion and get it out and make it feel real and honest.”

Backstage at the CMA Music Festival this past weekend, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Little Big Town shared their thoughts with members of the media. Little Big Town performed “Miracle” with Pharrell during their set for Orlando.

During Luke’s set and most specifically his song “Drink a Beer,” he asked the 70,000+ crowd to take a moment of silence for the victims and their families affected by the shootings in Orlando.“Something has been real heavy on my heart tonight,” he said. “I want us to take a brief moment of silence and think about all those families that have been affected in Orlando, Florida in our great nation last night. Let’s take a moment of silence and pray for all the families there.”
