Little Big Town has released their new single, “Over Drinking,” which was written by Jesse Frasure, Cary Barlowe, Hillary Lindsey, Ashley Gorley and Steph Jones. It’s the first official single from their upcoming album Nightfall, set for release January 17th.The band will perform the song for the first time on television on NBC’s Today Show on Thursday (September 12th).

“We started recording ‘Over Drinking’ on the road, and it was a little crazy because we didn’t have a place to record and you have to have a quiet place when you’re recording,” says LBT’s Karen Fairchild. So, we basically built a makeshift studio backstage and cut drums and bass and guitars, and it was really fun and spontaneous, and it was all driven from our love of the song. And (we) got back home and finished the recording of the song.”

The band recently announced their forthcoming headline tour, The Nightfall Tour, which will find them with a once-in-a-lifetime performance at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City on January 16th, 2020, the day before their new album drops.

Darius Rucker and Dierks Bentley are among the artists who will perform for a benefit to help those affected by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas on Monday (September 16th) at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson and LoCash will also perform.

It was recently announced Darius Rucker will be the celebrity advisor for the Battle Rounds for Blake Shelton on NBC’s The Voice. “’Bout time I get to advise my man Blake Shelton,” Darius tweeted. The new season of The Voice premieres September 23rd on NBC.

Brandon Lay will open for Brantley Gilbert on his upcoming Fire’t Up Tour, kicking off January 23^rd (2020) in London, Ontario. The 30-date trek will also feature performances by Chase Rise and Dylan Scott.

Luke Bryan was among the superstars who gathered at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville on Tuesday (September 10th) to remember the late Earl Thomas Conley. Blake Shelton, who organized the memorial and a huge fan of ETC, Jason Aldean, Joe Diffie, Neal McCoy, Wade Hayes and John Anderson also performed.

Little Big Town announced this morning, the release of their ninth studio album Nightfall, and accompanying headline tour, The Nightfall Tour. The foursomes’ new album will drop January 17th, 2020 succeeding a once-in-a-lifetime performance at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City on January 16th, 2020. This is the first mainstream country performance featured at Carnegie Hall since Alan Jackson in 2013.

The tour will continue the following two nights at The Apollo and will proceed all spring in over 30 of the most prestigious theaters in the country, closing with two nights at Denver’s art deco gem, The Paramount. Every show excluding Carnegie Hall will feature critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Caitlyn Smith.

Pre-sales for the tour begin today at NOON EST and will continue through Thursday night. Little Big Town also released new song, “Over Drinking” to all DSP’s last night. The single, written by Jesse Frasure, Cary Barlowe, Hillary Lindsey, Ashley Gorley and Steph Jones is the first official single off of Nightfall and features Fairchild on lead with the band’s signature vocal harmonies woven throughout. Keith Urban and Little Big Town will perform on next week’s CMT Music Awards, in addition to Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile and Tanya Tucker, Brett Young with Boyz II Men and Zac Brown Band. Previously announced performs include Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett.

A few collaborations (some noted above) will feature LBT, Thomas Rhett and Trombone Shorty, as well as Sheryl Crow and Maren Morris.
