    Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild will debut an exclusive fashion collection on EVINE Live on October 27th at 8pm and 9pm ET. The collection, designed by Karen, is a unique fusion of sexy, bold pieces that are Nashville-inspired with a rock and roll sensibility.

    “Fair Child is a blend of everything I love,” said Karen Fairchild. “It’s a collection of rich textures, details and embellishments in iconic pieces that are easy to wear, glamorous and affordable. These versatile pieces are made to be worn together through mixing, matching and layering.”

    Combining details and embellishments like studs, embroidery, and sequins, along with a variety of textures and silhouettes the line forms into one sleek and seamless collection. Fair Child will include jackets, tops and bottoms, dresses, and statement pieces for endless mixing and matching possibilities. 
     
    Karen Fairchild is one of the four founding members of Little Big Town, a country group that formed out of the Nashville music scene in the late 90s. The band gained international recognition with its hits “Boondocks,” “Little White Church,” “Pontoon,” and most recently “Girl Crush,” which made history on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart where it ranked #1 for 13 consecutive weeks. In addition, they are recipients of 11 music awards, including GRAMMY Awards, CMA Awards, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, and the Daytime Emmy Awards. Most recently, the band received five nominations for the 49th Annual CMA Awards, tying artist Eric Church for the highest number of nominations.

    Sam Hunt’s chart-topping “Take Your Time” has been certified double-platinum by the R.I.A.A. (Recording Industry Association of America) for sales of more than two-million.

    Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman are the 2015 Artists of the Year at the second annual Women in Music City Awards from The Nashville Business Journal. The Women in Music City Awards recognizes the women who help shape Nashville’s music industry. Both women serve on boards of music associations, Fairchild on CMA and Schlapman on ACM. They both also work with charities, including Bloodwater Mission and TJ Martell Foundation. The two will be honored Thursday (September 24th) during the event at Nashville’s Omni Hotel.

    Lady Antebellum scored their first No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart with “Something Better” with DJ Audien.

    Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott has created a scholarship fund for young women interested in a career in the entertainment industry at her alma mater, Middle Tennessee State University.

  • ERIC CHURCH AND LITTLE BIG TOWN LEAD THE LIST OF NOMINEES FOR THIS YEAR’S CMA AWARDS.

    Eric Church and Little Big Town top the list of final nominees for this year’s CMA Awards with five nominations each.

    The 49th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Wednesday, November 4th at 8pm ET on ABC.

    Eric’s nominations including his first Entertainer of the Year nomination, as well as Male Vocalist, Single of the Year for “Talladega,” Song of the Year for “Like a Wrecking Ball,” which he wrote with Casey Bethard; and Musical Event of the Year for “Raise ‘Em Up” with Keith Urban. He’s received a career total of 17 nominations.

    Three-time CMA Vocal Group of the Year, Little Big Town, has been nominated in the category every year since 2006 and received a nomination again in 2015. They’re also nominated for Single and Music Video of the Year for “Girl Crush;” as well as Album of the Year for Pain Killer and Musical Event of the Year for “Smokin’ and Drinkin’” with Miranda Lambert. “Girl Crush” is also nominated for Song of the Year, which is awarded to the songwriters, Liz Rose, Lori McKenna and Hillary Lindsey.

  • LITTLE BIG TOWN PREMIERE THE VIDEO FOR ‘PAIN KILLER’ THIS WEEKEND.

    Little Big Town premiere the video for their new single, “Pain Killer,” this weekend. The group had such a great time filming the clip in the Virgin Islands.

    “We truly did have a good time, and I think you really see it,” says LBT’s Phillip Sweet. “You see just our natural energy and interaction. Who couldn’t have fun in that location, first of all?”

    As you can see in the sneak preview below, the quartet spent time “singing” underwater, which was a first for them. “We’ve done so much over the years, it’s hard to find something new that we’ve never done before, and this we’ve never done before. We’ve never sang all glammed up under water,” says the band’s Kimberly Schlapman. “It is a little more difficult. The hardest part is staying underwater instead of poppin’ up and floatin’. That was the biggest challenge.”

    The video will premiere Saturday (August 22nd) on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown beginning at 9am ET.

You might not be able to tell that, but…Kimberly and I had on like full gowns and then we got into the water. Roger Pistole did such a great job. He’s a great, creative director.”

    Little Big Town return as hosts for “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock” on Tuesday (August 4th) at 8:00pm ET.

    The group not only are hosting this three-hour special event, but they’re also performing on the show, as well. “One of the moments, I think, that stood out to me was, the biggest, I mean when we actually got to play and perform the music, as opposed to all of the hosting duties. We started our set with ‘Girl Crush,’ and that moment just swept me away. The whole crowd was lit up – their phones were lit up – and they were singing louder than we were,” says LBT’s Phillip Sweet. “It just was the most incredible feeling to feel that energy and all focused on ‘Girl Crush’ and the starkness of that song. It was just like the most incredible moment for me.”

    For folks who want to come next year, LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman gives you a few safety tips. “It happens to the hottest week of the summer, every CMA Fest. Really. It’s so very hot, so you’ve got to wear a lot of sunscreen because there’s a lot of burnt backs that happen at CMA Fest,” says Kimberly. “Stay hydrated. Stay hydrated. It is so hot out there. It’s hot on the stage. It’s hot in the crowd, but you should come. If you’re even considering coming, come. You will not be disappointed.”

    Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker, Kip Moore, Sam Hunt, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge and Carrie Underwood will also be among the performers.   • LITTLE BIG TOWN POSTPONES MORE DATES ON THEIR PAIN KILLER TOUR.

    Little Big Town has postponed a few more dates on their 2015 Pain Killer Tour, following Jimi Westbrook’s vocal cord surgery a few weeks ago. The band posted a video to their Facebook page, which features Jimi’s mouth taped shut.

    They were set to resume their tour on July 31st at the Delaware State Fair, but it has now been canceled. They’re hopeful to return touring again August 22nd in Avondale, Canada.

    “We are so sad that we have missed y’all this summer. You don’t know how hard it’s been,” says LBT’s Kimberly Schlapman. “We’ve wanted to see your faces, we’ve wanted to hear your voices, and we’re very, very sorry that we haven’t been out there.”

    Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman is taking her cooking show to a brand new network. Kimberly’s Simply Southern will debut on The Cooking Channel on Saturday (July 18th) at 3:30pm ET with special guest Kix Brooks. Future episodes include appearances by Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott, Billy Currington, Brett Eldredge, Jewel and Kimberly’s band mates Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild and Phillip Sweet.

    Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush” was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for more than one-million sold.

    Dierks Bentley’s “Say You Do” and Billy Currington’s “We Are Tonight” were certified gold for selling more than 500,000 digital downloads.

    Scotty McCreery will be interviewed on HLN’s Weekend Express with Lynn Smith Saturday (July 18th), in the 7:00 AM / Eastern segment. Scotty stopped by the HLN studios on Friday en route to his concert tonight in Gainesville, Georgia.

    Luke Bryan’s “Kick the Dust Up” and Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time” are nominated in the country song category at this year’s Teen Choice Awards, alongside Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes, Florida Georgia Line and Megan & Liz. The show airs August 16th at 8pm ET on FOX.

    Toby Keith has announced he’ll release his new album, 35 mph Town, October 9th. He co-produced the album with songwriter/producer Bobby Pinson.

    NASHVILLE, TN (Thursday, July 9, 2015) – GRAMMY award-winning country group, Little Big Town, makes Billboard history as their reign continues atop Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for the 11th consecutive week with their smash hit, “Girl Crush.”

    Little Big Town’s 11th week in the #1 spot sets a new record as the longest run by a group (of at least three members) in the chart’s history ousting the previous record set by The Browns with “The Three Bells” in 1959.

    “Crush” additionally logs its third consecutive week and 11th week overall as the #1 country download on the Nielsen SoundScan Digital Country Songs Chart; making it the most downloaded song in country music for 2015 with sales totaling nearly 1.4 million.  The hit single is also currently sitting in the #5 position on the country radio charts and is heading towards a #1 record in the coming weeks.
