• LUKE BRYAN CELEBRATES 30 #1 SINGLES WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM HIS FRIENDS.

Country music superstar and five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan was honored today with a celebration for his career milestone of landing 30 #1 singles on country radio. Since his very first #1 single “Do I” landed atop of the charts in December 2009 to his thirtieth in December 2022 with “Country On” Luke has accumulated 56 total weeks at #1.

The evening kicked off with performances and anecdotes by some of Luke’s closest friends much to his surprise in multiple ‘this is your life’ moments. Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood from Lady A performed “Do I” followed by Dierks Bentley, who went on a hilarious riff comparing their #1 tallies, and sang “Play It Again.” Up next was Marty Raybon of Shenandoah, a long-time musical hero to Luke, who performed “Fast.” The final surprise performer was good friend Jason Aldean who sang Luke’s “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye.”

After the guest performances Luke generously spent time to highlight many of the people who attended the party thanking them for their part in his career. He saw familiar faces in the crowd including dozens of songwriters who had written many of the 30 #1 hits, members of the industry including ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC representatives and more who all showed up to celebrate the success of one of country music’s most highly respected and likeable artists. Luke closed out the performances singing “Country On.” See photos here.

During his career, Luke has amassed a total of 21.7 Billion global streams, 11.5 Million global album sales and 52 Million track sales worldwide. He is the most digital single RIAA certified country artist of all time with 83 Million units and 15.5M album certified units for a total of 98.5M. He was recently presented with the SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award in recognition of his standing as one of the most streamed artists in SoundExchange’s 20-year history.

His headline concert tours have played sold-out shows for millions and millions of fans inclusive of nearly 40 stadium concerts, Farm Tours, Spring Break shows, and eight sold-out ‘Crash My Playa’ destination concert events. At Luke’s recent sold-out Bridgestone concert- his sixth consecutive- Billboard touted, the “key to his success as one of country music’s foremost ambassadors for more than a decade has been his long-perfected onstage blend of lovable goofball, sultry swagger and positive attitude.” This Thursday, Luke launches his 14th Farm Tour and resumes the “Country On Tour” on September 28th.

Luke has won 50+ major music awards including five wins as Entertainer of the Year. Additional awards include six recognitions as a CMT Artist of the Year, NSAI Artist/Songwriter of the Year, the first-ever recipient of the ACM Album of the Decade Award for Crash My Party, seven CMT Music Awards, five Billboard Music Awards, and four American Music Awards—as well as being named Billboard’s Top Country Artist of the 2010s, the Most Heard Artist of the Decade by Country Aircheck, and the Artist Humanitarian Recipient by the Country Radio Broadcasters.

On November 8th, Luke and NFL superstar Peyton Manning will return to host “The 57th Annual CMA Awards” to be broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena 8:00-11:00 PM/EST) on ABC. And in 2024, Luke, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will return as celebrity judges for their seventh season on ABC’s American Idol.

  • LUKE BRYAN IS PREPARING TO LAUNCH HIS 2023 FARM TOUR.

Luke Bryan kicks off his 14th FARM TOUR on Thursday (September 14th) at Mulberry Orchard in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The Georgia native will set up stages in the fields of local farms through September 23rd.

The five-time Entertainer of the Year keeps putting on his annual Farm Tour for several reasons, including giving out scholarships and helping people feed others.

“The beauty of Farm Tour is we’re out there on the farm. We’re helping people feed Americans. We’re giving out scholarships,” says Luke. “You’ve got 20,000 people piling into an alfalfa field, corn field, hay field, it doesn’t matter. It’s a field. But when you put that many people out there in the Fall where the temps are kinda getting a little cool at night, nothing is more special than Farm Tour and that’s why I keep doing it year after year.”

    FARM TOUR 2023

    9/14      Shelbyville, KY                        Mulberry Orchard

9/15      Millersport, OH                       Miller Family Farm

9/21      Colfax, IA                                Schnell Family Farms

    9/22      Brooklyn, WI                          Klondike Farms

9/23      Eyota, MN                               Gar-Lin Dairy LLC

Continuing a partnership that began in 2015, Bayer, one of the world’s leading life sciences companies, is once again joining the tour as presenting sponsor and teaming up with Luke to help honor America’s farmers for providing us with access to critical health and nutrition through its #HerestotheFarmer campaign. The campaign supports Bayer’s vision of Health for All, Hunger for None and asks fans to join in by using #HerestotheFarmer on their social media channels now through November 30, 2023. As part of the initiative, Bayer will donate 1 million meals to people in need through Feeding America®. Since the partnership’s inception, 6 million meals have been donated and more than $180,000 has gone to Feeding America member food banks and local farmers at each of the tour cities.

Since 2009 when the Farm Tour began Luke has granted 78 college scholarships to students from farming families to their local college or university near the tour stops. Over the years event sponsors have donated money, food and resources to the local communities and also nationally. Last year alone Bayer provided one million meals to Feeding America®, Farmland® donated a truckload of protein to local foodbanks in each of the states that hosted the tour and also donated $9,000 to each state’s FFA Association, and Fendt donated $25,000 to the national FFA organization.

Luke is knocking on the door of Top 10 on the country charts with his latest single, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand.”

  • LUKE BRYAN SELLS OUT NASHVILLE’S BRIDGESTONE ARENA FOR SIXTH CONSECUTIVE TIME! HONORED WITH SOUNDEXCHANGE HALL OF FAME AWARD AND MULTIPLE RIAA CERTIFICATIONS.

Country music superstar Luke Bryan sold out his sixth consecutive concert in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena last night. He last headlined the venue in 2021 and played two back-to-back sold-out dates in both 2013 and 2017. He talked to the Tennessean about how he keeps that “special magic” with fans. Chayce Beckham, Jackson Dean and Ashley Cooke were the special guests.

And that magic was given back to Luke ten-fold last night as the entire arena rallied around their super star as he fought hard through vocal cord congestion “because I was not going to cancel Nashville under any circumstance,” he said. He kept them on their feet and the longer he played the taller they stood. Luke adapted the show’s setlist throwing in tunes from some of his heroes like Lionel Richie and Ronnie Milsap and offered the crowd a powerful 100% committed performance. He told them in the early days of his career he would drive around the city of Nashville hoping to get the chance to play Bridgestone someday. “Never in my wildest dreams would I have ever thought I could come into this arena and play whatever the hell I want for two hours.”

Before the show, Luke was presented with the SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award in recognition of his standing as one of the most streamed artists in SoundExchange’s 20-year history. He joins R&B superstar Usher and Music Fairness Award recipient Dionne Warwick among those most recently honored by SoundExchange, an organization that collects and distributes digital performance royalties on behalf of more than 650,000 music creators and has distributed more than $10 billion to date.

Luke was also presented with multi-Platinum and Gold plaques for RIAA certifications that have accumulated in the last few years, including his first #1 single “Do I” (4x PLATINUM), his most recent #1 single “Country On” (GOLD) and his last album Born Here Live Here Die Here (GOLD) and its five #1 singles. His overall RIAA certifications total 98.5 Million.

    • “Waves” – GOLD
    • “What She Wants Tonight” – PLATINUM
    • “Knockin’ Boots” – 3x PLATINUM
    • “One Margarita” – 2x PLATINUM
    • “Down To One” – PLATINUM

Luke released a new song last week from his forth coming album, “Southern and Slow.” The song was written by Matt Dragstrem, Josh Thompson and Chase McGill and co-produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens. Listen HERE.

Luke’s latest single, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” has entered the Top 10 on the country charts.

  • LUKE BRYAN RELEASES NEW SONG, “SOUTHERN AND SLOW.”

Luke Bryan releases a new song “Southern and Slow” today across all digital platforms. “Southern and Slow,” the third song off a forth coming album, was written by Matt Dragstrem, Josh Thompson and Chase McGill and co-produced by Jeff Stevens and Jody Stevens.

“‘Southern and Slow’ reflects on simple times,” says Luke. “Those picture-perfect moments like the sun setting behind a water tower, honey dripping off a spoon, well, it doesn’t get much countrier than that. Let’s slow it down southern style because this life seems to be moving faster than ever.”

Luke’s current radio single “But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” the follow up single to his 30th career No. 1 “Country On,” is poised to enter the Top 10 on the country charts.

The five-time Entertainer of the Year recently revealed his final run of dates for his Las Vegas residency at Resorts World. He will continue his Country On Tour in Nashville on Saturday (August 12th), followed by a show on Sunday (August 13th) in Brandon, Mississippi. Luke Bryan (Crash My Party Album) OC: …on there. :38
“The album – it has your party songs, it has your songs that are about life, and they’re about rural life. It’s got love songs, I’ve never done this kind of love song on it, that I’m really, really excited about. I mean, we’ve got songs for the guys, songs for the girls, songs you can go riding dirt roads in, songs you can cry to and songs, I think I’ve got a song on there that could really, really change people’s lives and really help them heal through a tough time. So, I’ve never been more excited about an upcoming album, and I think this has something for everybody on there.”

Audio / In 2013 prior to the release of his Crash My Party album, Luke Bryan explained what would make the album a success to him.

    Download

Luke Bryan (what would make CMP a success) OC: …widely accepted. :58
“In my opinion what would define the success of this album is obviously to…gosh, I don’t know.  To sell three or four million albums certainly.  But my main thing is to continue to move the needle on the fans knowing that I’m upping my game constantly and coming with better songs and singing better than ever and fueling the live show in whatever is going to, the ability to grow into bigger and bigger and bigger venues constantly for as many years as I can.  And making sure this album continues that upper climb of upward movement to being an even more elite entertainer on a global scale to where my music is me, to where I didn’t change my music to make it global.  I make kind of a more of an audience come to what I’m saying and selling.  And if I can do that on this album it’s a success. So just telling my story and making my story that which is something that is widely accepted.”

Audio / In 2013, Luke Bryan talked about one of his favorite songs on the album, “Drink a Beer.”

    Download

Luke Bryan (Drink a Beer) OC: …the album. :50
“‘Drink a Beer’ is the best way I can describe it is — it’s the coolest sad song I’ve ever heard.  It’s the saddest sad song you’ve ever heard but it’s like it could be played at any really environment and you’re not going to tank the mood. You’re just going to make people reflect and the perfect way you’re going to make them revert back to somebody that they lost, whether it’s their granddad that they used to sit on a boat and drink a beer with. It’s whoever in your life that you’ve lost that you would have shared a beer with, and I think it’s just a perfectly written sad song, and it’s one of those that I’m honored that it found its way to me and I’m honored that it can be on the album.”

Audio / Luke Bryan talks about singer/songwriter Chris Stapleton who wrote “Drink a Beer,” and also sings background vocals on the song.

    Download

Luke Bryan (Stapleton on Drink a Beer) OC: …piece of work. :36
“Having Chris Stapleton sing background on it that’s like heaven. That’s like me being in a foot race with Usain Bolt [sprinter and 6-time Olympic gold medalist] or something.  Having Chris Stapleton sing, he’s the best singer on the planet to me. So, for him to come in and lend his backgrounds on it takes this song even yet to a higher level with just how powerful he is as a singer and an artist, and he wrote the song also with Jim Beavers. I’m honored to say I’m starting to do some pieces of works. It feels like a true piece of work.”

Luke Bryan (Vegas return) OC: …fans in Vegas. :31
“Well, Vegas is just fun. I mean, everybody that’s in Vegas, they’re there to have a good time. They’re there to make the most of their good time. When I’m out on stage, you can see people partying and you can see people just out there enjoying Vegas.  And with me, that room is a little more intimate and I can sit at the piano and really connect with the fans and make the show, it can be big at times, and it can be really intimate and very like, almost like you’re in my living room. I mean, I love every aspect of playing for the fans in Vegas.”
