Five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan closed out the final day of CMA Fest yesterday with a fan club party at Luke’s 32 Bridge and a performance at Nissan stadium. Luke created the Nut House fan club 15 years ago at the onset of his career and has worked diligently to build an active and loyal fan base that now boasts as one of the longest-running modern day elite membership of fans. Up next for them, Luke will kick-off his 36-city “Country On Tour” in Syracuse, New York this Thursday (June 15th).

The “Country On Tour” is aptly named after Luke’s 30th #1 single, “Country On,” and is produced by Live Nation. Brad Paisley will perform at the second annual Beachlife Ranch festival, taking place in Redondo Beach, California, September 22nd – 24th. The Doobie Brothers, Jack Johnson, Wynonna Judd, Midland and Shooter Jennings will also perform.

Mickey Guyton, Trisha Yearwood and CMT’s Leslie Fram will be honored by Save The Music and SongFarm.org for their contributions to the music industry and music education at Nashville’s 4th annual “Hometown to Hometown” event June 5th at City Winery. The season finale of American Idol takes place this Sunday, and the Top 3 contestants – Megan Danielle, Colin Stough and Iam Tongi – will vie for the sought-after title of “American Idol.” Judge Luke Bryan tells us this season of the singing competition features probably the most talented singers he’s seen so far. He also feels a responsibility to give each of them the best chance possible to make it.

Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning return to co-host this year’s CMA Awards. The pair first hosted Country Music’s Biggest Night in 2022 and led to a three-year high in viewership.

The dynamic duo are the fourth hosting team to repeat as CMA hosts; Barbara Mandrell and Mac Davis co-hosted the show three consecutive years from 1980-1982; Brooks & Dunn co-hosted three years running (2004-2006), followed by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood from 2008 to 2018.

Carrie Underwood celebrated her 15th Anniversary as a proud Grand Ole Opry member on Saturday (May 13th) with a two-show performance. The Opry presented her backstage with a special commemorative print and a specially-designed cake, by IveyCake, to commemorate the milestone. Carrie made her unforgettable Grand Ole Opry performance debut on June 10th, 2005, just two weeks after winning American Idol. Her love for the Opry started as a child as she grew up watching and listening to the show, dreaming of one day performing there and even becoming a member herself. Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert have recorded a few new songs that will appear in the hit CBS show, Fire Country. Dierks posted a clip of the two in the studio on his socials and wrote, “Tune into the show for the next two weeks on CBS to hear them.” According to Billboard, the two have collaborated on three new songs, two of which — “Saved” and “Still Burning” — will appear in the May 12th episode; while “Something in the Water” will appear in the May 19th season finale. Additionally, Dierks co-wrote and sings “Barbed Wire Heart” that will also air in the finale. The show airs on Fridays beginning at 9pm ET/8pm CT on CBS.

Luke will perform “But I Got A Beer In My Hand” on the Sunday, May 21st season finale of “American Idol” as he, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie wrap up their sixth season as judges on television’s original singing competition. Tune in to the live coast-to-coast, three-hour season finale (8:00-11:00 p.m. EDT/6:00-9:00 p.m. MDT/5:00-8:00 p.m. PDT) on ABC.

“I knew I wanted a fun up-tempo song everyone could enjoy this summer,” said Luke. “I can’t wait to start doing it live. It’s gonna be a blast.”

This song comes on the heels of Luke’s 30^th No. 1 single “Country On” which closed out the 2022 charts as the final No. 1 of the year. Luke Bryan will release his new song, “But I Got A Beer In My Hand,” on Friday (May 5th). He announced his new single at last weekend’s Stagecoach and urged fans to go check out a clip he posted on Tik Tok. The tune is the follow-up to his 30th No. 1 smash, “Country On.” He says it’s a good summertime party song about heartbreak.

“It’s about a guy that obviously, his girl leaves him and he’s expecting to really be down about it,” says Luke. “Instead, he goes out, gets a beer in his hand, starts partying and life’s pretty good.”

Luke will perform the song on his upcoming 36-city Country On Tour, which launches June 15th in Syracuse, New York.
