Maddie Marlow of Maddie & Tae will appear on TLC’s popular series Say Yes To The Dress: Atlanta on Saturday (April 18th) at 8pm ET/7pm CT. Filmed last year ahead of Maddie’s November wedding, she searches for the perfect bridesmaid dresses alongside her family and closest friends including bandmate Taylor Dye.

“So, I actually got to do an episode of Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids Edition where my Mom, my sister, a ton of my bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, my grandmother-in-law, we all got to go to Atlanta and film for, basically we were trying to go find bridesmaid dresses for my bridesmaids,” says Maddie. “We had such a great time. It was so special the fact that all my family and friends just traveled all the way to Atlanta to film this show. It was super, super fun and I had a great time, and of course we went out that night because Atlanta is such a fun town. But, it was a really, really great experience and I just cant wait for everyone to see how blessed I am with the incredible women that I have in my life all on that episode.”

  • HOT COUNTRY KNIGHTS ARE NOT “SILENT” ABOUT THEIR NEW ALBUM.

The moment you’ve waited for is nearly here as the Hot Country Knights release their brand-new album, THE K IS SILENT. The collection features standout cuts like “Then It Rained” recalling the epic, weather-related smashes of the past while “Mull It Over” weaves romantic regret around an unintentional tribute to the band’s hair style of choice. “Wrangler Danger” stands as a feel-good tribute to honky tonk Heather Locklears, and “The USA Begins With Us” works as a showcase for the band’s expertly-choreographed live act – along with a blast of good-old-fashioned patriotism. However, it might be “You Make It Hard” (feat. Terri Clark) which best represents the band’s High-T philosophy. With soft-focus sonics and a vocal blend dripping in desire, it simply erupts with passion like a waterbed in the night.

Produced by Dierks Bentley, the multi-Platinum entertainer also serves as a co-writer on over half of the 10 brawny tracks and serves up one of the most musically satisfying debut albums since 1999. THE K IS SILENT is now available for pre-order at all digital retailers here.

HCK (album title) OC: …is Silent. :38
“Well, people do want to know why we called the album, The K is Silent. It is kind of a different name. The album was supposed to be called Doug Douglason is the Greatest Lead Singer of All Time of the Greatest Band Ever, The Hot Country Knights. The record label thought it was too long of a title, and they want the easy title, but what makes total sense which is The K is Silent; Hot Country Knights The K is Silent. It wasn’t my choice. If it was me, I would’ve named the album after myself, because I am the most important member of the band Hot Country Knights, but that’s part of the music business here in Nashville, Tennessee, a lot of stuff that goes on on Music Row, record labels get to have a big piece of your art, so the album is called The K is Silent.”

“’Young Once,’ so that’s a song that reflects on youth in a nostalgic way. I’m a little older than I was when I made my first record and reflecting on your younger days is a theme in country music that you see all the time. So, it’s like how do you do that in an original way?  How do you write that song in an original way? And for some reason, God has just put ideas in front of me that sometimes when these ideas come into a room, whether I come up with it or a cowriter, it’s like ‘How’s this not been written yet?’ And this is one of those ideas that I thought how has nobody flipped this hook and written this song this way before?”

Reba McEntire (message and thoughts during COVID-19) OC: …I know I sure will. 1:50
“Our Mama, Jacqueline McEntire, passed away March the 14th of this year, and so my two sisters and brother and I have been really busy here in Oklahoma taking care of her estate and Daddy’s estate, he passed away five years ago. So, we’ve been making sure we get everything separated and divided up amongst us. It’s been healing, sad, hmmm, we’ve found so many fun, wonderful things that we’d never seen before — letters from Daddy to Mama, pictures that I don’t know why she hadn’t shown us but we hadn’t seen ’em before. Mama had put ’em in a box in her closet. So, it’s really neat to see those things and oh, memory lane and so emotional, but gosh, we had a blast. It’s been so wonderful to get to stay with my sister in Chockie, Oklahoma with her and her husband Mark, Susie and Mark. We’ve just had the best time. Some people are in cities with millions, and we’re just here in this little bitty town in Chockie. There might not be more than 14 people here. It’s been a great time of rest, relaxation, meditation, getting to know your family better, my family. I’ve totally enjoyed it. My heart goes out to those peoople who did get sick during the Coronavirus. My heart goes out to the ones who have lost loved ones and family members and friends, but like the song says ‘What If,’ I think it’s really joined us together and made us a tightknit bunch. We’ll survive. We’ll go on, and I think we’ll love deeper, appreciate more and come out stronger at the end. I know I sure will.”

I haven’t really gotten to see my family or anything, because everybody’s so far apart, but I’m hanging in there. Trying to write some music, watching TV, Netflix and stuff, so it’s been fun, getting back to my inner self, powering up the soul, know what I’m saying?”
