Kacey Musgraves debuted atop the country album chart with her latest album, Pageant Material. The collection sold more than 54,000 copies to land at No. 1 on the country album chart and No. 3 on the overall Billboard album chart.

While she didn’t have as much time to put together her second album, she said every song starts with her. “I really love how songs make me feel when I write them and taking things I’ve gone through and putting them in songs,” says Kacey. “So, it starts with me, and if other people like it, that’s awesome.”

ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan announces his seventh annual “Bayer Presents Luke Bryan Farm Tour 2015” set to run September 30 to October 10. The eight fall concerts will stop in four new cities this year- Ft. Wayne, IN, Lexington, KY, Starkville, MS and Tuscaloosa, AL. During last year’s tour, Luke performed for over 110,000 fans during the eight city run. A portion of the ticket proceeds are granted for local college scholarships (“Luke Bryan Farm Tour Scholarship”) to students from a farming family within the communities the tour plays.

Easton Corbin worked on About to Get Real for a while and finished the project at some point last year. However, he and his producer Carson Chamberlain went back in to record a few more songs, which ended up making the record.

“We felt like so much time has passed, we should go out and beat the bushes, for, I guess you’d say for lack of better terms, and see if there were any other songs out there that were as good or better, because these writers are writing every day great songs, and we did. And we came across three songs called ‘Guys and Girls,’ ‘Diggin’ on You’ and ‘Yup.’ I feel like these three songs really complete this record. So, we took off three existing songs we had cut and replaced them with these three songs,” says Easton. “I feel like that when you have a body of work it’s almost like putting a puzzle together, especially sequencing and the body of work as a whole. And I feel like that all these songs together as a whole really complement each other.”

Easton Corbin is about to release his new album, About to Get Real, on Tuesday (June 30^th), and he feels it’s a good balance between his traditional country roots and keeping it fresh.

“As an artist, you grow and within that growth process, you do your best to make it current and young, but also with that you stay true to your roots and you have to be real about that. For me, it’s keeping that traditional country element in my songs, but also keeping it fresh. It’s a balance, and I think we’ve done that well with this record.”
